PROGRAM CHANGE
DRE GOES TO JURY DUTY AND FEELS A NEW SENSE OF CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY,
ON ABC’S ‘BLACK-ISH’

“One Angry Man” – Dre is forced to participate in jury duty after Junior responds to the summons that was thrown away. The case is supposed to be open and shut, but when Dre sees that the defendant is a young African American, he feels a civic responsibility to give him a fair trial. Meanwhile, Bow decides to let the kids swear in the house since they are more open with her that way, but she and Ruby soon regret the decision, on “black-ish,” WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22 (9:31-10:00 p.m. EST), on the ABC Television Network.

“black-ish” stars Anthony Anderson as Andre “Dre” Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross as Rainbow Johnson, Laurence Fishburne as Pops, Yara Shahidi as Zoey Johnson, Marcus Scribner as Andre Johnson Jr., Miles Brown as Jack Johnson, Marsai Martin as Diane Johnson, Jenifer Lewis as Ruby, Peter Mackenzie as Mr. Stevens.

Guest starring is Deon Cole as Charlie Telphy, Jeff Meacham as Josh, Nicole Sullivan as Janine and Allen Maldonado as Curtis.

“ToysRn’tUs” – Janine gives Diane a white Girlstory doll for her birthday, and when Bow tries to return it for a black doll, she is shocked by the limited options offered. Dre blames the lack of representation of African Americans in the media, but when confronting this systematic problem, he realizes that he has prejudices of his own.
