A multi-platform entertainer, Schaub first became popular as an MMA fighter and has since developed a significant fan base with his work in comedy and podcasting. Schaub continues to co-host the long-time podcast "The Fighter and The Kid" with Bryan Callen, which averages over nine million downloads per month. He co-created and co-hosts the new podcast "The King and The Sting" with Theo Von and is a frequent guest on The Joe Rogan Experience.

Schaub joined SHOWTIME in 2018 and launched the podcast and digital talk show BELOW THE BELT WITH BRENDAN SCHAUB, which has quickly developed into a multi-platform franchise covering the fight game and pop culture through a range of unique and authentic content created for his persona.

First Full Trailer Released for the Summer Event Series

Los Angeles, CA, April 30, 2019 - WGN America announced today that the captivating limited series "The Disappearance" will premiere on Tuesday, July 9th at 10/9c. The network also released the first full-length trailer from the psychological family drama. The six-part summer event starring Emmy(R) winner Peter Coyote ("The 4400," "Law & Order: LA"), Camille Sullivan ("The Man in the High Castle") and Aden Young ("Rectify," Killer Elite) centers around the unexplained and sudden disappearance of a 10-year-old boy, and the investigation that leaves a devastating and unforeseen impact on every member of the family.

When Henry Sullivan (Peter Coyote) organizes a treasure hunt for his grandson Anthony's (Michael Riendeau) tenth birthday, things take a turn for the worse when Anthony unexpectedly goes missing. The series follows Luke Sullivan (Aden Young) and Helen Murphy Sullivan (Camille Sullivan) as they delve into the all-consuming investigation of what happened to their son on that harrowing day. As the Sullivans and their extended kin grapple with the inexplicable mystery, deep familial secrets become uncovered and threaten to shatter the family unit.

"The Disappearance" is created and written by Normand Daneau ("Unité 9," Niagara Motel) and Geneviève Simard, and directed by Peter Stebbings (Defendor, "Orphan Black"). SWEET HOME SEXTUPLETS
It’s a season of firsts as the Waldrop babies turn one! Blu, Layke, Rawlings, Rayne, Rivers and Tag are developing distinct personalities, taking first steps, speaking first words and sharing milestones. The babies have come a long way from the NICU. Now that they are bigger and more mobile, they get to play with their older brothers Saylor, Wales and Bridge and are keeping their parents, Courtney and Eric, on their toes.
As a full-time mom to nine children, Courtney is determined to manage the household chaos herself, and she will be tested with a family flu outbreak, concerns about the babies’ development and whether Layke will need to have surgery to correct his heart condition. Desperate to keep everything in line, will Courtney be able to juggle everything without breaking down? Plus, the walls are closing in on Courtney, and she realizes one solution is to move to a bigger home. But Eric wants to stay put and remodel, which could add even more strain to the Waldrops' already jam-packed agenda.
Throughout all the struggles and chaos, the Waldrops experience the joys of celebrating their first Christmas at home and vacation as a family of 11, with plenty of excitement and fun for all. Academy Award(R)-nominated Filmmakers Steven Bognar and Julia Reichert's documentary AMERICAN FACTORY to be the first release

HOLLYWOOD, CA (April 30th, 2019) - Priya Swaminathan and Tonia Davis, co-heads of Higher Ground Productions, President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama's production company in partnership with Netflix, today announced the company's initial slate of upcoming projects. The content encompasses a wide range of fiction and non-fiction signature productions for all audiences including scripted, unscripted and documentary series, as well as full-length features and documentaries.

President and Mrs. Obama launched Higher Ground last spring to create content that embodies the core values of celebrating the human spirit through struggles and triumph; facing adversity through resilience, determination, and hope; lifting up new voices and stories to bring about change; and transcending divides to bring us together. The projects selected are a reflection of these values and a commitment to quality storytelling. Higher Ground expects to make additional project announcements in the coming months.

AMERICAN FACTORY was acquired by Netflix in association with Higher Ground Productions out of the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Directing Award: U.S. Documentary. From Participant Media, the film is directed by Academy Award(R)-nominated and Emmy Award(R)-winners Steven Bognar and Julia Reichert ("The Last Truck: Closing of a GM Plant," "A Lion in the House," "Seeing Red"). The acclaimed film takes a deep dive into a post-industrial Ohio, where a Chinese billionaire opens a new factory in the husk of an abandoned General Motors plant and hires two thousand blue-collar Americans. Early days of hope and optimism give way to setbacks as high-tech China clashes with working-class America. The producers are Steven Bognar, Julia Reichert, Jeff Reichert, and Julie Parker Benello.

BLOOM is an upstairs/downstairs drama series set in the world of fashion in post-WWII New York City that depicts barriers faced by women and by people of color in an era marked by hurdles but also tremendous progress. BLOOM is written and executive produced by Academy Award-winner(R) Callie Khouri ("Nashville," "Thelma and Louise," the upcoming Aretha Franklin movie at MGM), from an idea developed by Khouri, writer-director Clement Virgo ("The Book Of Negroes," "The Wire," "Empire") and novelist and producer Juliana Maio ("City of the Sun"). Higher Ground Productions, Khouri, Virgo and Maio will executive produce the series.

Higher Ground is producing a feature film adaptation of author David W. Blight's Frederick Douglass: Prophet of Freedom, for which he won the 2019 Pulitzer Prize in History. The New York Times called the book "an ambitious and empathetic biography of a major American life."
Adapted from The New York Times' ongoing obituary column Overlooked, telling the stories of remarkable people whose deaths were not reported by the newspaper, Higher Ground is developing OVERLOOKED as a scripted anthology series with producers Liza Chasin of 3dot Productions and Joy Gorman Wettels of Anonymous Content.

For family programming, LISTEN TO YOUR VEGETABLES & EAT YOUR PARENTS will be a half-hour preschool series from creators Jeremy Konner ("Drunk History") and Erika Thormahlen. The show will take young children and their families around the globe on an adventure that tells us the story of our food.

From Michael Lewis, the best-selling author of The Big Short and Moneyball, and based on his book The Fifth Risk: Undoing Democracy, FIFTH RISK, a non-fiction series, will aim to portray the importance of unheralded work done by everyday heroes guiding our government and safeguarding our nation.

CRIP CAMP is a feature-length documentary film in production that is supported by the Sundance Institute and acquired earlier this year by Higher Ground and Netflix. Just down the road from Woodstock, in the early 1970s, a parallel revolution blossomed in a ramshackle summer camp for disabled teenagers that would transform young lives, and America forever by helping to set in motion the disability rights movement. The film is directed by former camper Jim LeBrecht and Nicole Newnham. Producers include Newnham, LeBrecht and Sara Bolder, with executive producer Howard Gertler.

About Catch-22:
Based on Joseph Heller’s seminal novel of the same name, Catch-22 is the story of the incomparable, artful dodger, Yossarian (Christopher Abbott), a US Air Force bombardier in World War II who is furious because thousands of people he has never met are trying to kill him. But his real problem is not the enemy, but rather his own army which keeps increasing the number of missions the men must fly to complete their service. Network Picks Up 10 One-Hour Episodes of New Scripted Comedic Drama Series
68 Whiskey Joins Massive Hit Yellowstone and Darren Star Series Emily in Paris on Paramount Network's Growing Scripted Slate

Los Angeles, April 30, 2019 - Paramount Network today ordered 10 one-hour episodes of 68 Whiskey, a new, scripted comedic drama series from Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios. Oscar(R)-winner Brian Grazer will serve as an executive producer along with Oscar(R)-winner Ron Howard, Imagine Television Group Chairman Francie Calfo (Empire, Genius), Imagine Television President Samie Kim Falvey and Emmy(R)-nominated Roberto Benabib (Weeds, The Brink, Ally McBeal), who is also set to write. Zion Rubin, the creator of the Israeli television series Charlie Golf One, from which 68 Whiskey has been adapted, will also executive produce, along with Efrat Shmaya Dror (United Studios of Israel) and Danna Stern (yes Studios).

68 Whiskey joins a scripted roster for Paramount Network headlined by Yellowstone, which returns for its second season on June 19 and was 2018's most-watched new cable series, ranking second across all of cable TV series for the year (5.1 million total viewers per episode), and the recently announced new Darren Star series, Emily in Paris starring Lily Collins, which will premiere in 2020.

NEW YORK – April 30, 2019 – Half a century after humanity’s historic first step on the Moon, Smithsonian Channel will launch a six-week celebration of this historic accomplishment. Six-part series APOLLO’S MOON SHOT explores the Moon program through unique and rare access to Apollo artifacts from the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum, while a companion augmented reality app enables users to participate in the mission. One-hour documentary THE DAY WE WALKED ON THE MOON relives those iconic 24 hours through the surprising revelations of the men and women who were there and those impacted across the globe. APOLLO’S MOON SHOT premieres Sunday, June 16 at 8 PM ET/PT, and the APOLLO’S MOON SHOT app will be available for download free of charge on iOS and Android platforms this June. THE DAY WE WALKED ON THE MOON premieres Sunday, July 7 at 9 PM ET/PT and will be available to stream on the Smithsonian Channel app and at SmithsonianChannel.com beginning Sunday, June 30.

APOLLO’S MOON SHOT tells the entire story of America’s Moon program through rare, newly restored archival film and unique access to the artifacts of Apollo.  From John Glenn’s camera, to Apollo 11’s command module, to the last space boots on the Moon  –still covered in lunar dust – the series reveals the stories of the men and women who made the mission possible. Stunning footage of each mission – some of it rarely seen – is combined with NASA’s oral histories taken directly from the astronauts’ debriefings upon their return to the Earth. In-depth explorations of astronaut artifacts from the Museum’s vaults form an intimate connection between the viewer and the men on the face of the Moon.

“The scale of Project Apollo was unprecedented, costing $25 billion at the time – more than either the Manhattan Project or the Panama Canal,” said Teasel Muir-Harmony, curator at the National Air and Space Museum. “Through the use of key artifacts, this series demonstrates the breadth of a venture which drew on the combined effort of over 400,000 people.”

The APOLLO’S MOON SHOT AR app, created in partnership with AR/VR studio Immersion, allows viewers to trace the full timeline of the Moon program through key moments from the series. Augmented reality features enable anyone with an AR-compatible smartphone or tablet to shoot off a Saturn V rocket, take a selfie under extreme G-forces, step through a portal onto the Moon and experience authentic challenges from the Apollo mission, such as piloting the Apollo Lander on its treacherous descent to the Moon’s surface. Several AR features will be optimized for sharing on social media.

THE DAY WE WALKED ON THE MOON unfolds with a minute-by-minute description of those 24 hours when humanity first stepped on to the Moon – told by the people who witnessed it. Astronauts (including Michael Collins, the third member of the Apollo 11 mission), members of Mission Control (including Flight Director Gene Kranz, Capsule Communicator Charles Duke and Guidance Officer Steve Bales) and the children of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin reveal their personal stories behind the scenes of the iconic day. Pop culture notables like Queen guitarist and doctor of astrophysics Brian May and television personality and professor of physics Brian Cox describe where they were and what they felt during that “One Small Step.” It’s a story that ranges from the deeply personal to the grand and historic, an in-depth look at one of the most important 24-hour periods in history.
