Bunnicula - 'Part 2' DVD Plans Cancelled, Replaced with Plans for a COMPLETE 'Season 1' Set! 4-disc set with 40 episodes is scheduled by Warner for this May

Last June the folks at Warner Home Video released Season 1, Part 1: Night of the Vegetable on DVD. Then, this past November, we passed along word that mid-February would reportedly see a DVD release of Bunnicula - Season 1, Part 2. That timeframe has obviously come and gone, and Warner never formally announced the title. Now we've learned why! A retailer contact of our up north of the border has informed us that Warner Home Video of Canada has solicited to sellers a May 8th DVD release of the complete Bunnicula - Season 1. It's all 40 episodes on a 4-DVD set, priced at US$24.98 SRP in the USA, and CA$29.99 SRP in Canada. If you go to the links we provided last fall to pre-order the "part two" set from Amazon (in either their USA or Canadian sites), you'll find that they have been updated and renovated to be used for the complete Bunnicula - Season 1 set instead! We've got links to that below. Under that is the package art, front and rear, for this title. A nice upgrade in Warner's plans!

We haven't gotten an official announcement yet from Warner Home Video, nor has package art been found anywhere. But VideoETA, a website produced by national home entertainment distributor Ingram Entertainment, has info showing that Bunnicula - Season 1, Part 2 will be available on DVD this coming February 13th. There's an Amazon.com listing for the title, too, but it's not accepting any pre-orders yet, and the entry is empty of any information besides the title of the DVD. It's about as basic as it gets. However, north of the border, Amazon's Canadian site's entry IS accepting pre-orders, priced at CA$25.91 and showing the same February 13th street date VideoETA mentions. At the top, the title says only "Season 1," but that's a cut-off error. If you scroll down to the "Product description" section of that listing, it says, "Bunnicula: Season 1 Part 2 (DVD)." That's all we have so far, but stay tuned and we'll update you, as further developments occur!
