Back in mid-December we gave you the heads-up that The Dogfather - The DePatie-Freleng Collection is coming to DVD and Blu-ray Disc from Kino Lorber this year. At the time we passed along a March 20th release date from the studio, but now KL has advised that the title will be delayed a bit. The Dogfather - Kino Lorber Sets DVD/BD Date for Godfather Parody Cartoon Series Coming to both disc formats during the second half of March

We passed along word right after Thanksgiving (USA) that Kino Lorber had plans to release DePatie-Freleng's 1974 series of animated shorts, The Dogfather (originally seen separately, but later part of the Pink Panther pack of cartoons). Later on, during this month, the studio revealed their schedule of titles and dates for the first quarter of 2018. In it we see that The Dogfather - The DePatie-Freleng Collection is coming to both DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc on March 20th. It will come with all 17 installments starring the voices of Bob Holt (The Great Grape Ape Show, Challenge of the GoBots) and Daws Butler (The Yogi Bear Show, The Jetsons).
