Nickelodeon Renews Some of Its Biggest Franchises and Hit Series for the 2020-21 Season
"Are You Afraid of the Dark," "All That" and "Top Elf" are among the eight newly extended series.

Nickelodeon has renewed some of its biggest franchises and hit series for the 2020-21 season:
· Are You Afraid of the Dark(Season 2) - The beloved anthology series returns with morescary stories and a new Midnight Society group of kids who tell a chilling tale, only towitness the events of the terrifying story start to unfold around them. ACE Entertainment(To All the Boys I've Loved Before, The Perfect Date) returns to produce, with ACEfounder Matt Kaplan and Spencer Berman serving as executive producers.

· All That (Season 1, additional 10-episode pickup) - With afirst season totaling 36 episodes, the reboot of the iconic '90s pop-culture sketch series showcases the comedictalents of eight kid comedians and features musical performances and guest appearancesfrom today's biggest stars.
· Top Elf (Season 2, 5 episodes) - Set in the North Pole, all-new talented kid "elf-testants"are paired with Santa's elves in a series of physical challenges, as they compete for thetitle of Top Elf and a wishlist of prizes for their community.

· The Casagrandes (Season 2, 20 episodes) - Ronnie Anne and her multi-generationalMexican American family are back for more love, laughter and adventures in the bigcity.Premiering this fall, the Casagrande family members will find themselves in avariety of situations, including becoming a viral sensation, searching for Pancho Villa'slost gold, celebrating Las Posadas and more.
· Blue's Clues & You! (Season 3, 20 episodes) - Josh (Josh Dela Cruz) and Blue will meetnew friends, including their new neighbor Periwinkle; spend time with Josh's Lola--hisgrandmother (Carolyn Fe)--and cousins, Steve (Steve Burns) and Joe (Donovan Patton); and go on all-new fun-filled adventures to the present store, outer space and more.

· PAW Patrol (Season 8, 26 episodes) - Produced by Spin Master Entertainment, the newseason follows the paw-some pack of pups - Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye, Rocky,Zuma, Everest and Tracker - as they embark on all-new action-packed rescue missionsand work together to help their community of Adventure Bay, proving "no job is too big,no pup is too small!"

· Blaze and the Monster Machines (Season 6, 20 episodes) - Blaze and the MonsterMachines speed into a new season with the most epic races and rescues yet, including next-level transformations into fire rescue vehicles, big rigs, construction trucks and evena fire-breathing dragon.

· Bubble Guppies (Season 6, 20 episodes) - The guppies' adventures will be bigger andbubblier than ever before with all-new songs, funny guest stars, fin-tastic lessons and lotsof Bubble Puppy.

Brand-New Animated Series Centered on Multigenerational Mexican-American Family Airs Saturdays at 11:30 A.M. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon revealed today The Casagrandes' extended theme song. This energetic and authentic song celebrates all of the things that make up The Casagrandes - family, love, humor and food. Written by award-winning composer Germaine Franco and performed by pop star Ally Brooke, the song has elements of urban and pop music and authentic, fast and upbeat Latin music rhythms, giving it a catchy vibe made for kids and adults alike. Most importantly, The Casagrandes' extended theme song expresses that "we're all familia!"

The extended theme song also features Izabella Alvarez (Westworld) as 11-year-old Ronnie Anne. Alvarez lends her voice to the lead role, where a new home in the city holds big adventures, laughs and love around every corner. The new series, which recently debuted on Monday, October 14, is a spinoff of Nick's animated hit The Loud House, and tells the story of Ronnie Anne who moves to the city with her mom and older brother to live with their big, loving family, the Casagrandes. New episodes air Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.

New Series Follows Adventures of a Multigenerational Mexican-American Family in Spinoff of the Emmy Award-Winning The Loud House

BURBANK, Calif.-Sept. 4, 2019-A new home in the city holds big adventures, laughs and love around every corner in Nickelodeon's new original animated series The Casagrandes, premiering Monday, Oct. 14, at 1:30 p.m. (ET/PT). A spinoff of Nick's animated hit The Loud House, The Casagrandes tells the story of 11-year-old Ronnie Anne who moves to the city with her mom and older brother to live with their big, loving family, the Casagrandes. Following its premiere, the series moves to its regular timeslot on Saturdays at 11:30 a.m. (ET/PT) beginning Saturday, Oct. 19, on Nickelodeon.

Starring Izabella Alvarez (Westworld) as 11-year-old Ronnie Annie, Carlos PenaVega (Big Time Rush) as her brother Bobby and Sumalee Montano (Nashville) as her mom Maria, the series showcases the culture, humor, and love that's part of growing up in a multigenerational Mexican-American family. After moving in with their grandparents in Great Lakes City, Ronnie Anne adjusts to her new life living under one roof and over the family-run mercado (local market), which is a gathering place for everyone in the neighborhood.

Alvarez, PenaVega and Montano bring these characters to life, alongside: Carlos Alazraqui (The Fairly OddParents) as Carlos, "Tio;" Roxana Ortega (The League) as Frida, "Tia;" Alexa PenaVega (Spy Kids) as Carlota; Jared Kozak (Born this Way) as CJ; Alex Cazares (The Boss Baby: Back in Business) as Carl; Ruben Garfias (East Los High) as Hector, "Abuelo;" and Sonia Manzano (Sesame Street) as Rosa, "Abuela." Additionally, Eugenio Derbez (Dora and the Lost City of Gold) gives voice to Dr. Santiago, a physician living and working in Peru, who is Ronnie Anne and Bobby's father.
Ronnie Anne's new apartment building holds new friends and neighbors, including: Ken Jeong (Dr. Ken) as Stanley Chang; Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) as Becca Chang; Leah Mei Gold (Legion) as 12-year-old Sid Chang, Ronnie Anne's new friend; and Lexi Sexton as Adelaide Chang, Sid's 6-year-old little sister.

In the first episode, "Going Overboard," Ronnie Anne finds out her Tio Carlos was a famous skateboarder and she begs him to teach her some new moves. Then, in "Walk Don't Run," Ronnie Anne and Sid start a dog-walking business to save up for a new skateboard in a plan that quickly gets out of hand.

The Casagrandes premiere will encore at 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. The Casagrande family was first introduced in the The Loud House special, "The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos," which premiered May 2017 and ranks as the highest-rated premiere for the series in Live+7 with both K2-11 (6.6/1.8M) and K6-11 (8.1/1.3M).
The Casagrandes is produced by Nickelodeon in Burbank, Calif. The series is executive produced by Michael Rubiner (The Loud House), with Karen Malach (The Loud House) serving as producer, Alan Foreman as supervising producer and Miguel Puga as supervising director. Award-winning cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz (Coco) serves as consulting producer and cultural consultant.

Nick Greenlights Season Five of Animated Hit "The Loud House" with 26-Episode Pick-up
BURBANK, Calif.-May 7, 2019-Eugenio Derbez (Overboard), Ken Jeong (Dr. Ken) and Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) have joined the cast of Nickelodeon's upcoming original animated series The Casagrandes, which tells the story of the Casagrandes, a big, loving and multi-generational family living together in the city. A companion to the Emmy Award-winning, The Loud House, the new 2D-animated series highlights the culture, humor, and love of growing up in a multi-generational Mexican-American family. The series is set to debut October 2019 on Nickelodeon.
"The Casagrandes highlights the humorous stories and moments of daily life that every kind of family can relate to, and we're thrilled to have Eugenio, Melissa and Ken on board to make these characters as relatable and funny as can be," said Ramsey Naito, EVP, Animation Production and Development, Nickelodeon. "Nickelodeon will also continue to dive deeper into the characters' lives in The Loud House, a proven hit with our audience, with a brand-new fifth season."

Said Derbez: "When I was approached to be part of The Casagrandes, it was an easy yes. It's culturally specific but will appeal to any kid. It's outrageous and funny and has heart. This is what a LatinX kid show should look like, big fun and mainstream with some Latin spice. I'm grateful to Nickelodeon for asking me to be a part of it."

Said Hart: "I will finally be a hero in my own home now that I get to be a part of The Casagrandes animated show. My boys have been huge fans of The Loud House and this is the first project of mine they are truly excited to see."

In The Casagrandes, Derbez lends his voice as Dr. Santiago, a physician living and working in Peru, who is Ronnie Anne and Bobby's father; Jeong voices Mr. Stanley Chang, a friendly and patient train conductor; and Hart voices Mrs. Becca Chang, a quirky, smart and funny zoologist and wife to Stanley.

Izabella Alvarez (Westworld) voices the title role of 11-year-old Ronnie Anne, joining Carlos PenaVega (Big Time Rush) who continues to lend his voice as Bobby. Additional new cast members include Leah Mei Gold (Legion) as 12-year-old Sid Chang, Ronnie Anne's new friend, and Lexi Sexton as Adelaide Chang, Sid's 6-year-old little sister.

In The Casagrandes, Ronnie Anne's new life promises to be an adventure, especially now that she lives under one roof with her grandparents, aunt, uncle, cousins, and a sass-talking parrot. As if that weren't enough excitement, she lives over the family-run Mercado, which is a gathering place for everyone in the neighborhood.

Nickelodeon has also greenlit a fifth season (26 episodes) of The Loud House, where big changes are on the horizon. In season five, Lincoln and his friends' graduate elementary school and face new challenges and adventures as they tackle the trials and tribulations of middle school, each sister moves up a grade and Lori decides if she's ready to leave home for college. The new season will also showcase holiday themed episodes, introduce new characters, locations and more.

Season four of The Loud House kicks-off Monday, May 27, at 1:00 p.m. (ET/PT) with a special half-hour episode dedicated to the Casagrande family. In The Loud House featuring The Casagrandes, "Friended!" Ronnie Anne makes friends with Sid, a girl whose family wants to rent the apartment upstairs. When it looks like another couple might get it first, the girls resort to sabotage to dissuade them. Season four premieres continue Monday, June 10, through Thurs., June 13, at 11:00 a.m. (ET/PT) and Monday, June 17, through Thurs., June 20, at 11:00 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.
The Casagrande family was first introduced in the The Loud House special, "The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos." The family appeared throughout the third season of The Loud House and have a five-episode arc coming up in season four, with crossover episodes also planned in season five. The Loud House debuted May 2016 and centers on 11-year-old Lincoln Loud and his ten sisters as he gives an inside look at what it takes to survive the chaos of a huge family.

The Loud House is currently executive produced by Mike Rubiner (KaBlam!). Karen Malach serves as producer and Kyle Marshall is supervising producer. The Casagrandes is also executive produced by Rubiner, with Malach as producer. Award-winning cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz (Coco) serves as a cultural consultant and consulting producer and Alan Forman is supervising producer.
