NEW YEAR, NEW COUNTRY: SAY YES TO THE DRESS ENGLAND ARRIVES STATESIDE ON JANUARY 4 AT 9PM ET/PT

NEW YEAR, NEW COUNTRY: SAY YES TO THE DRESS ENGLAND ARRIVES STATESIDE
ON JANUARY 4 AT 9PM ET/PT
(New York) — They say yes in England, too! TLC heads across the pond to showcase brides from the English countryside in new series SAY YES TO THE DRESS ENGLAND, premiering Saturday, January 4 at 9pm ET/PT, right after the premiere of TLC’s other new wedding series, SAY YES TO THE DRESS AMERICA.
The series introduces viewers to Ava Rose Hamilton, a family-run bridal boutique in Lancashire, England, and Gok Wan, a stylist extraordinaire and fashion icon who will go to any length, silhouette or neckline to make dreams come true. Gok wrote the book on fashion, literally—he’s written multiple fashion advice books filled with tips on how to dress to feel confident, and he’s hosted dozens of television programs, for which he’s won a variety of awards. With a background like his, Gok brings a unique blend of humor, a can-do attitude and English country charm to ensure every bride feels as confident as possible in her wedding gown.
Each bride poses a fresh challenge, from tight deadlines to budget constraints to overbearing bridal crews. This season will feature stories including a bride who lost her vision and is relying on Gok to help her visualize a gown she can’t actually see, a same-sex couple who breaks with tradition to help each other say yes to their perfect dresses, a bride who survived a 2017 terrorist attack and is seeking a gown that compliments her commemorative tattoo and many more. No challenge is too big for Gok and his team of passionate and dedicated consultants, who will stop at nothing to make sure every bride feels beautiful and confident on her wedding day.

(New York, NY) – TLC, the premier destination for all things wedding, today announced the TLC all-stars and special guests who are joining forces to pull off the wedding event and series of a lifetime, SAY YES TO THE DRESS: AMERICA. Iconic bridal expert Randy Fenoli, bridal designer Hayley Paige, CAKE BOSS’s Buddy Valastro, Emmy Award-winning host and style expert Lilliana Vazquez and fashion industry veteran Joe Zee will lend their talents to help 52 couples – one from every state, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico – tie the knot this summer in an extraordinary group wedding at a quintessential New York landmark: Central Park. Ten brides will be prominently featured throughout the 10-part series which is slated to premiere in January 2020, culminating in a two-hour wedding special.

A mainstay of TLC’s long-running wedding series, SAY YES TO THE DRESS, Randy Fenoli is taking on dual duties during the wedding extravaganza. In addition to overseeing the numerous dress appointments at Kleinfeld Bridal, Randy will also serve as the wedding officiant, marrying all 52 couples during the group ceremony. Fellow bridal designer Hayley Paige will take on the role of America’s bridesmaid and focus on styling the brides on the day of the wedding; she also custom-designed bridal veils for the big day. The CAKE BOSS himself, Buddy Valastro, will create and hand deliver one of his unique and eponymous confectionary creations: a wedding cake fit for 104 newlyweds! Rounding out the wedding crew are Lilliana Vazquez, TV personality and style expert, and Joe Zee, renowned fashion stylist & journalist, who will coordinate last-minute details with the brides and grooms, before serving as announcers and commentators as the brides debut their gowns during their walk down America’s aisle.

The 52 brides participating in SAY YES TO THE DRESS: AMERICA will represent their hometowns in a wedding experience like none other. Each bride will receive an all-expense paid trip to NYC, a private shopping event at Kleinfeld Bridal where they will be gifted a wedding gown from a curated selection and the group wedding at Central Park.

TLC’S ‘SAY YES TO THE DRESS’ IS BACK WITH ALL-NEW EPISODES AND A NEW TIME SLOT AT 9PM ET/PT, BEGINNING JULY 20

TLC’S ‘SAY YES TO THE DRESS’ IS BACK WITH ALL-NEW EPISODES AND A NEW TIME SLOT AT 9PM ET/PT, BEGINNING JULY 20

(New York, NY) — It’s a whirlwind season of epic changes, bold personalities and astonishing moments when TLC’s long-running franchise SAY YES TO THE DRESS returns with brand-new episodes on Saturday, July 20 at 9PM ET/PT. Just as Kleinfeld Bridal pulls back the curtain on a massive, modern redesign of its salon, Randy Fenoli, iconic bridal expert, encounters several daring brides-to-be who are searching for unique, modern wedding attire that bucks tradition. From black dresses to jumpsuits, Randy and the consultants are nearly pushed to their limit as they juggle tighter-than-usual deadlines and demanding entourages in order to make every bride’s dream come true.

In the season premiere, Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy, the beloved duo from “Dancing with the Stars,” put Kleinfeld to the test when they arrive just two months before their big day seeking the dress of highest importance to Jenna: her reception dress. Viewers will meet brides in various stages of their dress search: one bride has yet to find a dress after shopping at close to 100 stores in the US and overseas; another bride was devastated when she lost her home, including her wedding dress, in the recent California wildfires; and a different bride’s dress went missing when the salon from where she purchased it went bankrupt.

Also this season, fans will get a first-hand look at breathtaking weddings around the world -- from the cliffs of Ireland, to the hills of Tuscany. Plus, Randy is whisked away to Barcelona on his quest to debut his second bridal collection, and while there, he hopes to impress the bridal community at the ultimate Bridal Fashion Week. And in a special episode, Randy is deeply moved by an impromptu speech made during his niece’s wedding, which also doubles as a Fenoli family reunion.
