WWII Drama Series Starring Évelyne Brochu (Orphan Black) Returns Monday, August 20th at 10pm ET

Los Angeles, CA - July 24, 2018 - Ovation, America's only arts network, has announced the premiere date for the third and final season of X Company. Inspired by the true story of Camp X, a top-secret Allied spy training facility in Lake Ontario, the series stars Évelyne Brochu (Orphan Black), Jack Laskey (Endeavour), Hugh Dillon (Flashpoint, Continuum), Warren Brown (Luther, Strike Back), Connor Price (Being Human), Torben Liebrecht (Homeland) and Lara Jean Chorostecki (Designated Survivor, Hannibal). Season Three of X Company will debut on Monday, August 20th at 10pm ET / 7pm PT on Ovation.

The final season of X Company sees the team of Camp X operatives press forward to the finish line on their last mission together, hoping to deliver a blow to the enemy that could change the course of the war. After the shocking and disillusioning losses of Tom (Dustin Milligan) and those who fell at Dieppe, it's harder than ever to keep the faith. The rules of human decency are stretched to a point where the difference between good and evil becomes more difficult to discern. The team is faced with the brutal truth that sometimes to fight the enemy, you must become the enemy.

The team uncovers "Operation Marigold," a top-secret Nazi operation that could propel the Germans to victory.

With all of France about to be occupied by the Nazis, the team tries to rally a nation. Meanwhile, Faber (Torben Liebrecht)'s transfer to Poland could cost them their most prized asset.

Sinclair (Hugh Dillon) orders his team to follow Faber (Torben Liebrecht) to Poland and zero in on Operation Marigold. But the road to get there proves to be deadly.

Aurora (Évelyne Brochu) learns of an imminent attack on the village of Nadzieja, Poland. As Neil (Warren Brown), Alfred (Jack Laskey) and the Resistance fighters launch into a fierce battle, she must go to sickening extremes to prove her loyalty to Schmidt (Morten Suurballe) and to the Nazi cause.

The team's mission begins to unravel when Heidi (Madeleine Knight) discovers Aurora (Évelyne Brochu) is a spy.

Inspired by the true story of Camp X, a top-secret Allied spy training facility in Lake Ontario, X Company follows the stories of five highly skilled young recruits, torn from their ordinary lives and trained to conduct one risky mission after another to help Allied forces change the world. The series stars évelyne Brochu (Orphan Black), Jack Laskey (Endeavour), Hugh Dillon (Flashpoint, Continuum), Warren Brown (Luther), Dustin Milligan (Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, Schitt's Creek, 90210), Connor Price (Being Human) and Lara Jean Chorostecki (Designated Survivor, Hannibal). X Company will premiere on Monday, February 19 at 10pm ET.

The Artful Detective's twist-filled season 10 finale saw the futures of Detective Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) and the heroes of Station House No. 4 in jeopardy amidst a corruption investigation gone awry. Season 11 will pick up with the aftermath of the finale's events that left the lives of Murdoch's beloved Dr. Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy), Inspector Brackenreid (Thomas Craig) and Constables George Crabtree (Jonny Harris), Henry Higgins (Lachlan Murdoch), and Slugger Jackson (Kristian Bruun) at stake and their fates unknown. Season 11 storylines will feature a number of Canadian and international historical figures, including physician William Osler and Helen Keller, the return of artist Tom Thomson, President Theodore Roosevelt, and Alexander Graham Bell. Season 11 of The Artful Detective will air on Saturday, February 3 at 10pm ET.

Directed by Michael Almereyda, Marjorie Prime is a film based on Jordan Harrison's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play about an ailing 86-year-old woman's interaction with a holographic projection of her late husband. As Marjorie's "Prime" requires information from her and her family to develop a more complex understanding of his history, each family member begins to develop ever diverging accounts of their own lives and history. With rave reviews for performances given by Lois Smith, Jon Hamm, Geena Davis and Tim Robbins, the film has been also lauded for shining a light on the world of artificial intelligence and our concepts of morality. Marjorie Prime will have its broadcast premiere on Sunday, February 4 at 7pm ET.

Manifesto is a feature film based on the multi-screen film installation written, produced and directed by Julian Rosefeldt, which features Academy Award-winning actress Cate Blanchett in 13 different roles performing various manifestos. The feature premiered in theatres earlier this year and will have its broadcast premiere on Sunday, February 11 at 7:30pm ET.

Both Set During WWII, The Halcyon Will Premiere in Fall 2017, While X Company Will Kick Off a Run of Three Seasons Beginning Q1 of 2018

MIP TV: Cannes, France - April 3, 2017 Ovation TV, America's only arts network, has acquired U.S. premiere rights to the historical drama series The Halcyon (8 x 60') and three seasons of X Company (28 x 60') in a deal with Sony Pictures Television. The announcement was made today by Scott Woodward, EVP of Programming and Production, Ovation TV.

Produced by Left Bank Pictures, The Halcyon is the story of a bustling and glamorous five star hotel at the center of London society and a world at war. Set in 1940, the series shows London life through the prism of war and the impact it has on families, politics, relationships and work across every social strata--set to a soundtrack of the music of the era. The Halcyon stars Steven Mackintosh (Luther), Olivia Williams (Anna Karenina), and Hermione Corfield (Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur). The series will debut on Ovation in fall 2017.

X Company is an emotionally-driven character drama, set in the thrilling and dangerous world of WWII espionage and covert operations. It follows the stories of five highly skilled young recruits - Canadian, American and British - torn from their ordinary lives to train as agents in an ultra-secret facility on the shores of Lake Ontario. These agents parachute behind enemy lines, where they're fair game for torture and execution. From elegant hotels to hellholes in the field, it's one risky operation after another, masterminded by the brains of Camp X.
