Last November we alerted you that both seasons of the '57 western TV show The Californians was in-the-works from CBS and SFM Entertainment as DVD and Blu-ray releases through manufacture on demand (MOD) programs. The first season came out in January on both formats. Now we're happy to pass along to fans that the final season, The Californians - Season 2, became available today, March 20th. The DVD is priced at $34.99 SRP, and the Blu-ray can be bought at $42.99 SRP. Both 4-disc sets are in stock right now at Amazon's CreateSpace MOD program (see button link immediately below), and here's a look at the packaging:

Two months ago we alerted you that The Californians - Season 1 was coming for DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc, and also Season 2 as well. Both were said to be manufacture on demand releases in each format, and neither had a release date at the time. As of this writing, we're still waiting on the second season to be available. But in the lead-up to the holidays, we totally missed that The Californians - Season 1 begun to ship on both DVD ($34.99 SRP) and Blu-ray ($42.99 SRP) formats starting December 22nd, via Amazon's CreateSpace MOD program. CBS and SFM Entertainment are teaming up to bring both seasons of The Californians to DVD ($34.99 SRP each season) and high-def Blu-ray Disc ($42.99 SRP each season). Each will be a 4-disc set (except for the DVD version of the first season, which is a 5-disc set). All of them are MOD (manufacture on demand) titles being offered through Amazon's CreateSpace MOD program. There's no dates yet for when these will be available; instead each of Amazon's listings for these items simply say, "This title has not yet been released.
