In 1969, while a cultural revolution swept through the free world, there was still one place that refused to change with the times: newsrooms. Good Girls Revolt follows a group of young female researchers at "News of the Week," who ask to be treated fairly. Their revolutionary request sparks convulsive changes and upends marriages, careers, sex lives, love lives, and friendships. Amazon's short-lived program was based on a 2013 book by Lynn Povich about a real-life lawsuit brought against Newsweek magazine in 1970. The TV series adapted from the book only lasted for a single season with 10 episodes, but now that one-and-only season is being brought to DVD. Starring Lena Hall, Grace Gummer, Chris Diamantopoulos, and Anna Camp, Good Girls Revolt - Season 1 will be a 2-DVD manufacture-on-demand (MOD) title available October 24th from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
