Emmy and Annie Award-winning voice actress Nancy Cartwright (“The Simpsons”) will reprise her role as the voice of fan-favorite Rufus the Naked mole-rat in the upcoming live-action “Kim Possible” Disney Channel Original Movie, premiering FRIDAY, FEB. 15 (8:00–9:32 p.m. EST/PST), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW. The veteran actress voiced the role in Disney Channel’s “Kim Possible” animated series (2002-07). Cartwright has played the iconic Bart Simpson on the animated series “The Simpsons” for over 30 years.

Based on the global hit animated series, the live-action “Kim Possible” Disney Channel Original Movie follows everyday teen hero Kim Possible and best friend and sidekick Ron Stoppable as they embark on their freshman year of high school, all while saving the world from evil villains. By their side every step of the way is teen tech-genius Wade and new friend Athena, who also happens to be a Kim Possible super fan and is eager to join Team Possible. While Kim and Ron have always been one step ahead of their opponents, navigating the social hierarchy of high school is more challenging than the action-hero ever imagined. With Drakken and Shego lurking in the wings, Kim must rely on her family and friends more than ever. A First Look at Turbocharged Miniseries ‘Fast Layne’ to Follow

“Kim Possible,” a Disney Channel Original Movie based on the beloved animated series, will premiere FRIDAY, FEB. 15 (8:00–9:32 p.m. EST/PST), on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW. In this comedic action-adventure, a live-action transformation of the original series, newcomer Sadie Stanley stars as the iconic teen hero Kim Possible along with Sean Giambrone (ABC’s “The Goldbergs”) as her best friend and sidekick, Ron Stoppable. Immediately following “Kim Possible,” Disney Channel will present a first look at the new eight-part miniseries “Fast Layne,” with an episode titled “Mile 1: the Voice in the Shed.” “Fast Layne” will move to its regular timeslot with a second installment, “Mile 2: Paid to Drive,” on SUNDAY, FEB. 17 (8:00–8:30 p.m. EST/PST). Both episodes will be available on DisneyNOW.

About “Kim Possible”
“Kim Possible” begins as Kim and her best friend and sidekick, Ron Stoppable, start Middleton High School where Kim must navigate an intimidating new social hierarchy. She is ready to tackle the challenge head-on, just as she has with everything else in life, but her confidence is shaken when she faces roadblocks at every turn—getting lost in the confusing hallways, being late to class and facing rejection during soccer tryouts from her frenemy, Bonnie. Kim’s day starts to turn around when she and Ron meet and befriend Athena, a new classmate and Kim Possible superfan who is having an even worse day than Kim. With Kim’s guidance and friendship, Athena transforms into the newest member of Team Possible. About “Fast Layne”
“Fast Layne” centers on twelve-year-old over-achiever Layne, who finds her orderly life thrown into a tailspin when she discovers a sophisticated talking car named “VIN” hidden in an abandoned shed. With the help of her eccentric neighbor Zora, Layne embarks on a high-speed adventure filled with secret agents and other surprises as the girls set out to unlock the mystery behind VIN’s creation. When VIN needs some mechanical attention, Layne enlists the help of Cody, a smart and charming boy who works in his Abuelo’s garage. Layne also navigates prodding questions from her younger cousin Mel, a nosy survivalist-in-training who is determined to uncover her secret.

Multitalented actress/singer Christy Carlson Romano and Emmy(R) and GRAMMY(R) Award-winning actor/comedian Patton Oswalt have joined the cast of the live-action "Kim Possible," a Disney Channel Original Movie about an everyday high school girl who, in her spare time, saves the world from villains. Romano played the voice of the iconic title character and Oswalt played the voice of Professor Dementor in the hit animated series on which the movie is based.

Romano announced that she would appear in the comedy-adventure movie, set to debut in 2019, during "D23's Saturday Morning on the Lot" event at the Walt Disney Studios today, during a presentation celebrating the series. She also voices young bot-fighter Trina in an upcoming episode of Disney Channel's animated series "Big Hero 6 The Series."

Oswalt will introduce a new generation of fans to supervillain and mad scientist Professor Dementor, a favorite character for fans.

Sadie Stanley and Sean Giambrone will star as Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable in the live-action “Kim Possible,” a Disney Channel Original Movie based on the global hit animated series about an everyday high school girl who, in her spare time, saves the world from villains. The comedy-adventure will go into production this summer and is set to debut in 2019.

A native of Columbia, South Carolina, 16-year-old Sadie Stanley landed the role in her first-ever audition. She has since guest-starred on “Game Shakers.” Sean Giambrone, age 18, stars in ABC’s hit comedy “The Goldbergs” and will film “Kim Possible” before returning to production of that series, now going into its sixth season, this summer.
