The average of the network’s Sunday-Monday night shelter dog special out-delivered the two-night average of the pedigree competition across all key demos, including Households, Women 18-49, Women 25-54, Women 18+, and Total Viewers. This year’s “American Rescue Dog” reached a combined total of over 2.8 million Unduplicated Total Viewers.

New York, NY, February 22, 2019 – Hallmark Channel’s second annual “American Rescue Dog Show”, which aired in two parts February 17 and February 18, once again stole the country’s heart, with the telecasts delivering a combined average of 1.1 Million Total Viewers and 3.7 million unduplicated viewers. Moreover, for the second year in a row the program outperformed America’s longest-running canine showdown, which exclusively spotlights registered purebred dogs. In fact, Hallmark Channel’s two-night event delivered stronger results across key demographics[1] – including a 21% higher household rating and 11% more Total Viewers – than the other two-night program, which aired on Monday, February 11 and Tuesday, February 12.

Saturday’s world premiere of the first new original movie premiere of the holiday season, “Christmas at Pemberley Manor”, averaged a 3.2 Household rating and was the highest-rated and most-watched cable program of the day, excluding sports, and the second highest-rated and most-watched of the week, excluding news and sports. Additionally, the premiere elevated Hallmark Channel to be the highest-rated and most-watched cable network on Saturday among Households, Women 25-54, and Total Viewers, excluding sports.

The show delivered 153,000 Adults 25-54 and 864,000 Total Viewers. In addition, the program trended on Twitter and Facebook throughout the night with viewers weighing in on what makes rescue dogs such wonderful pets.

Season’s First Original Holiday Premiere Marked Highest-Rated Cable Program on Saturday

New York, NY, October 31, 2017 – Hallmark Channel’s 2017 “Countdown to Christmas” programming event, which kicked-off Friday, is off to an auspicious start, driving the network to become the highest-rated and most-watched network on cable for the entire weekend across all key demographics, including Households, Total Viewers, W25-54, and W18-49.

 Saturday night’s world premiere of “Marry Me at Christmas,” the first new original movie of the season, garnered a 3.1 HH rating and was the highest rated cable program of the day and – excluding sports and news – the second highest rated of the week. In addition, the premiere elevated Hallmark Channel to be the highest-rated cable network on Saturday among HH and W25-54.

The Saturday, June 10, movie premiere of “The Perfect Bride” marks the second of four new nuptial-themed premieres this month. The third season of “Good Witch” is also in full swing, with the Sunday, June 11, debut of the primetime series’ seventh episode becoming the highest-rated and most-watched of the season among HH and all key demos.

In “The Perfect Bride,” fitness trainer and former marriage counselor Molly White runs Bridal Boot Camp classes that combine fitness with pre-marital counseling to brides and grooms before their big day. While struggling with marital issues from her past, Molly meets the handsome Nick Dyson, a talented photographer who seems to be having doubts about his upcoming marriage to Molly’s client, an overbearing perfectionist. While helping couples find their happiness and begin their new lives together, Molly discovers she, too, needs to learn how to forgive herself from her past so she can move forward. In “Good Witch,” Cassie uses her unique gifts to help the people of Middleton find what they really need.  Cassie’s daughter Grace is also using her powers to help those around her, and becoming a little more like her mother every day.  Meanwhile, the romance between Cassie and Sam is blossoming and, as they take pleasure in learning more about each other, they are also learning how to navigate their differences. On Saturday, June 3, Hallmark Channel launched its annual “June Weddings” programming franchise with the debut of “Destination Wedding,” one of four new nuptial-themed premieres this month.

On Sunday, June 4, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries also debuted “Site Unseen: An Emma Fielding Mystery,” marking the first installment of its newest mystery series.

In “Destination Wedding,” Ellie Hamilton has been painstakingly planning her sister’s destination wedding. As guests arrive on a beach paradise, Ellie runs into her ex-boyfriend, Greg, who also happens to be the best man. With the wedding a couple days away, and Ellie unsure if her sister will show up, it falls to Ellie and Greg to save the wedding. Stars Alexa PenaVega, Jeremy Guilbaut and Andrea Brooks.

In “Site Unseen: An Emma Fielding Mystery,” brilliant, dedicated, and driven archaeologist Emma Fielding is trying to unearth evidence of a 17th century coastal Maine settlement that predates Jamestown - one of the most significant archaeological finds in years. But the dead body that accompanies it has embroiled Emma and her students in a different kind of exploration. Stars Courtney Thorne-Smith and James Tupper.
