BURBANK, Calif. (March 7, 2019) - Celebrating finals, firsts and rebirths, Warner Bros. Television (WBTV) will test the physics of funny one last time at WonderCon 2019 with The Big Bang Theory's final appearance, unveil The 100's sixth season premiere (on a brand-new planet) and deliver Warner Bros. Animation's (WBA) newest superhero fix - DC Super Hero Girls. All three series will be out in force during the fan fest in Anaheim, including special video presentations and Q&A sessions on Saturday, March 30, celebrating The Big Bang Theory (Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS) with the hit comedy's writers, as well as the new animated series DC Super Hero Girls (premiering Friday, March 8, at 6/5c on Cartoon Network, before moving to regular time period of Sundays at 4:00 p.m. ET/PT). Sunday, March 31, brings the exclusive season six world premiere screening of The 100 (premiering Tuesday, April 30, at 9/8c on The CW).

CAST AND EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS WILL SCREEN NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN FOOTAGE AND DISCUSS THE MAKING OF THE UPCOMING MERMAID DRAMA

Freeform, Disney’s young adult television network, announced today that it will be bringing the cast and executive producers of the highly-anticipated mermaid drama, “Siren,” to WonderCon on Saturday, March 24 in Anaheim, CA to screen never-before-seen footage and discuss the upcoming series, which debuts on Thursday, March 29, with a special two-hour premiere (8:00–10:00 p.m. EDT).

Among those coming to WonderCon include series regular stars Eline Powell (‘Ryn’), Alex Roe (‘Ben’), Fola Evans-Akingbola (‘Maddie’), Ian Verdun (‘Xander’), Sibongile Mlambo (‘Donna’), Rena Owen (‘Helen’) and executive producers Emily Whitesell and Eric Wald.

In this epic tale, the coastal town of Bristol Cove, known for its legend of once being home to mermaids, is turned upside down when a mysterious girl (Powell) appears and begins wreaking havoc upon the small fishing town. Using their resources, marine biologists Ben (Roe) and Maddie (Evans-Akingbola) must work together to find out who and what drove this primal hunter of the deep sea to land and are there more like her out there?

“Siren” is based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White who both serve as executive producers. Emily Whitesell (“Finding Carter”) serves as showrunner and executive producer. Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb also serve as executive producers.

Two ABC comedies are coming to WonderCon in full force with everyone’s favorite family from the 1980s, “The Goldbergs,” and one of the funniest and inventive new series of 2017, “Imaginary Mary,” on Friday, March 31, for two full hours at the Anaheim Convention Center.

“IMAGINARY MARY” Friday, March 31, 3:30-4:30 p.m., 300AB

From the creative geniuses behind “The Goldbergs” comes “Imaginary Mary,” a live-action/CGI hybrid comedy. Preview an exclusive screening of the second episode, “The Mom Seal,”and join Jenna Elfman, Stephen Schneider and executive producers Adam F. Goldberg, David Guarascio, Patrick Osborne and Doug Robinson for a moderated Q&A session with TV Guide Magazine’s Jim Halterman.

“Imaginary Mary” follows Alice, a single sports public relations executive who has fallen in love with a divorced father of three kids. When the pressure of her relationship and potential insta-family becomes too much for Alice to handle, she starts to see her childhood imaginary friend, Mary (voiced by Rachel Dratch of “Saturday Night Live”).

“Imaginary Mary” premieres with a special episode on Wednesday, March 29, at 8:30/7:30c p.m. on ABC after “The Goldbergs” before moving to its regular timeslot of Tuesdays at 9:30/8:30c p.m. on ABC, beginning April 4.

“Imaginary Mary” is produced by Happy Madison in association with Sony Pictures Television and ABC Studios.

Immediately following the “Imaginary Mary” panel, stick around for a full hour of fun that will kick off with the newest episode of “The Goldbergs,” “The Dynamic Duo.”
Directed by Kevin Smith, “The Dynamic Duo” follows the geeky and movie-obsessed Adam and his grandfather Pops, who have drastically different reactions to the 1989 Batman movie when it’s released in theaters.

Afterward, join cast members of the VCR-loving Goldberg family including Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jeff Garlin and executive producers Adam F. Goldberg and Doug Robinson in a conversation led by the episode’s director, Kevin Smith.

“The Goldbergs” airs Wednesdays at 8:00/7:00c p.m. on ABC.
