“Pilot” – Young rapper Courtney Rose (Brandon Micheal Hall, “Search Party”) needs his big break. For years he’s toiled away in a small inner-city apartment, making music in his junk-filled bedroom closet. Tired of waiting for opportunity to knock, Courtney cooks up the publicity stunt of the century – running for mayor of his California hometown, Fort Grey, to generate buzz for his music career. But his master plan goes wildly awry, ending in the most terrifying of outcomes: an election victory, on “The Mayor,” TUESDAY, NOV. 28 (9:30-10:00 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. Courtney’s charisma and outspoken optimism are what helped him get elected as the Mayor, but even though he’s an outsider when it comes to politics, he will find that he’s actually good at it. Courtney has smarts, swagger and creativity, but has never worked a full-time job in his life.  Luckily for him, he has the right people around him to shepherd his growth, both as a person and a politician.

His biggest fan is his mom, Dina Rose (Yvette Nicole Brown, “Community”), who will be there to keep a watchful eye on him and his administration, and is always ready to set him straight if need be. She’s a loving mother not only to Courtney but to his best friends as well. His questionably qualified buddies, Jermaine Leforge (Bernard David Jones), the smooth operator, and T.K Clifton (Marcel Spears), the sensitive sweetheart, will serve as his two unconventional political aides.

Valentina Barella (Lea Michele, “Glee”) initially was the campaign manager for the losing mayoral candidate, Ed Gunt (David Spade), but changes sides and offers to join Courtney as his chief of staff when she realizes he truly wants to make a difference in his community. Valentina’s no-nonsense, straight-laced ways assure him that things will turn out for the best because she will not settle for anything less than perfect.

As Courtney begins his new journey into the unpredictable world of politics, his mother and best friends, including Valentina, will be completely dedicated to helping him succeed. He’ll have to learn what it means to be responsible for others while learning what it means to be responsible for himself.

ABC celebrates the joy of the holidays with special "25 Days of Christmas" programming starting December 1. The countdown to "25 Days of Christmas" kicks off in late November with an ABC News "20/20" special edition, "Lights, Camera, Christmas: Inside Holiday Movie Classics," perennial favorite "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town," the musical celebration "CMA Country Christmas," "The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration" and more. The month of December is filled with special Christmas-themed episodes, the return of "The Great Christmas Light Fight" and "The Great American Baking Show," and timeless animated classics and holiday films. The celebration continues after Christmas with New Year's-themed programming ringing in 2018.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, CHRISTMAS! INSIDE HOLIDAY MOVIE CLASSICS - A special edition of ABC News' "20/20," features actor Peter Billingsley, best known as the character Ralphie in the seasonal hit movie "A Christmas Story." This one-hour special will kick off the holiday season by bringing together the stars from classic holiday movies, and featuring behind-the-scenes looks at the most memorable moments from these films. SANTA CLAUS IS COMIN' TO TOWN - In the perennial favorite created in 1970 by Rankin-Bass Productions ("Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "Frosty the Snowman"), Fred Astaire narrates this timeless tale of Kris Kringle (Mickey Rooney), a young boy with an immense desire to do good things for others. THURSDAY, NOV. 30
A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS - Celebrate the joy of the holidays with the classic animated Christmas-themed PEANUTS special, "A Charlie Brown Christmas," created by the late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz. In the digitally re-mastered 1965 special, Charlie Brown complains about the overwhelming materialism that he sees everywhere during the Christmas season. Lucy suggests that he become director of the school Christmas pageant and Charlie Brown accepts, but it proves to be a frustrating struggle. When an attempt to restore the proper spirit with a forlorn little fir Christmas tree fails, Charlie Brown needs Linus' help to learn what the real meaning of Christmas is. (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF DISNEY: MAGICAL HOLIDAY CELEBRATION - Join Emmy(R) Award-winner Julianne Hough along with multiplatinum recording artist Nick Lachey as they host the magical two-hour event from the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT - Season Premiere - "The Great Christmas Light Fight" returns for its fifth season, showcasing the most spectacular and over-the-top Christmas displays in America. In each episode, four families compete to win the coveted Light Fight trophy and a $50,000 prize, with a total of $300,000 given away for the season. Along with the incredible displays, this season also features the first-ever neighbors vs. neighbors episode, where side-by-side neighbors team up to compete against other side-by-side neighbors in a doubly epic battle of the bulbs! HAPPY NEW YEAR, CHARLIE BROWN - The ABC Television Network and the PEANUTS gang will ring in the new year with the animated PEANUTS special, "Happy New Year, Charlie Brown," created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, along with "She's a Good Skate, Charlie Brown." In "Happy New Year, Charlie Brown," the PEANUTS gang is ringing in 1986 and Marcie and Peppermint Patty are throwing a big New Year's Eve bash. Charlie Brown plans to celebrate the holiday by curling up with a big book that weighs nearly as much as he does, Tolstoy's "War and Peace." The book's weight doesn't stop him from lugging it to Lucy's pre-party dance class, where he cuts a mean rug with a rollicking Patty. With just 1131 pages to go, Charlie Brown takes another break, this time for the party, and summons the courage to invite his true love, the little red-haired girl. She doesn't respond, but hapless Chuck shows up anyway - with Tolstoy in tow. Then, he settles down with the book - on a porch swing in a snowstorm, and in so doing, misses the evening's big surprise. In "She's a Good Skate, Charlie Brown," disaster strikes as Peppermint Patty heads to her first major ice-skating competition with coach Snoopy and faithful companion, Marcie, by her side. As always, the unassuming Woodstock flies in to save the day. (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

RUDOLPH'S SHINY NEW YEAR - It's Rudolph to the rescue when Happy, the Baby New Year, goes missing, in "Rudolph's Shiny New Year," the classic Rankin/Bass stop-motion animated holiday special. Red Skelton narrates and voices Father Time, while Frank Gorshin and Morey Amsterdam also provide voices for characters. Father Time asks the most famous reindeer of all, Rudolph, to find the next Baby New Year before midnight on New Year's Eve. (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

SUNDAY, DEC. 31
DICK CLARK'S NEW YEAR'S ROCKIN' EVE - ABC will ring in the new year with the 46th annual "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018." The iconic holiday special, live from Times Square in New York City, will feature special performances and reports on New Year's festivities from around the globe. Ryan Seacrest will lead the celebrated countdown to midnight, along with actress and comedian Jenny McCarthy, beginning at 8 p.m. Special performances to be announced soon. "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018" is produced by dick clark productions with Ryan Seacrest, Allen Shapiro and Mike Mahan serve as executive producers and Barry Adelman and Mark Bracco as co-executive producers. DAYTIME
GENERAL HOSPITAL - The holidays are both bitter and sweet for those in Port Charles. All are in shock when Andre's lies finally catch up with him and, in an emotional moment of regret, we finally learn the truth about Patient 6's identity. Alexis desperately tries to make amends for last year's mistakes and start anew, yet can't help but wonder if she'll ever be able to shake her past. While Josslyn and Oscar get closer to the truth, Nelle continues to try and assert herself in Michael's life. And as Laura finally accepts love again, Sam wonders if she really knows what's in her heart. (Beginning Friday, Dec. 1)

Additionally, "General Hospital" will participate in ABC's "Share the Joy" campaign in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation for a fourth year. Each year, the Toys for Tots campaign is incorporated into several episodes throughout the Christmas holiday, helping to raise awareness about the organization. T.K. and Jermaine attempt to solve the issue by employing a focus group which quickly turns unruly. Meanwhile, Dina and her two best friends are excited about their annual tradition of taking a sick day to pamper themselves, but their plans get derailed by an unforeseen chain of events, on “The Mayor,” TUESDAY, OCT. 31 (9:30-10:00 p.m. EDT).

October is spooktacular on ABC as the network’s comedies, along with “The Chew,” “Dancing with the Stars” and “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” all celebrate Halloween. Classic Halloween specials “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and “Toy Story OF TERROR!” also return for encore performances. Below is a listing of Halloween-themed programming. THURSDAY, OCT. 19
“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” – In Charles M. Schulz’s classic animated Halloween-themed PEANUTS special, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” the PEANUTS gang celebrates Halloween with Linus hoping that, finally, he will be visited by The Great Pumpkin, while Charlie Brown is invited to a Halloween party. Cast members include Peter Robbins (Charlie Brown) and Christopher Shea (Linus). The cast also includes Sally Dryer as Lucy, Chris Doran as Schroeder, Bill Melendez as Snoopy, Kathy Steinberg as Sally, Tracy Stratford as Violet and Ann Altieri as Frieda. (8:00–8:30 p.m.)

“Toy Story OF TERROR!” – Tom Hanks and Tim Allen reprise their roles as Woody and Buzz, respectively, in Disney•Pixar’s first special for television, “Toy Story OF TERROR!” – a spooky tale featuring all of your favorite characters from the “Toy Story” films. What starts out as a fun road trip for the “Toy Story” gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this “Toy Story OF TERROR!” The cast of “Toy Story OF TERROR!” includes Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Carl Weathers as Combat Carl/Combat Carl Jr., Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head, Wallace Shawn as Rex and Kristen Schaal as Trixie. SUNDAY, OCT. 22
“America’s Funniest Home Videos” – “Episode 2803” – AFV celebrates Halloween with a montage of kids’ reactions to scary Halloween decorations – including a brave trick-or-treater who tries to stomp on the neighbor’s animatronic zombie hand; pets get in on the Halloween action with funny costumes of their own; and a musical tribute to people getting scared. Funny Face Swaps and a monkey at the zoo who gets jealous when watching a couple kiss will also be featured. (8:00–9:00 p.m.)

MONDAY, OCT. 23
“The Chew” – Beginning Oct. 23, “The Chew” Crew has Halloween-themed episodes every day with tasty and terrifying treats, and dishes that will get you into the holiday spirit in no time! (Weekdays, 1:00-2:00 p.m.)

TUESDAY, OCT. 24
“The Middle” – “Halloween VIII: Orson Murder Mystery” – As Halloween approaches, Frankie discovers that a woman had died in the bathtub of the Heck house close to 50 years ago; Frankie and Brick become convinced that she was murdered and, much to Mike’s chagrin, attempt to track down and find the murderer. Meanwhile, Axl and Lexie become frustrated over losing their alone time when Sue insists on hanging out with them wherever they go. (8:00-8:30 p.m.)

“Fresh Off the Boat” – “It’s a Plastic Pumpkin, Louis Huang” – On Halloween, Louis is disappointed that Evan doesn’t take his childish delight in the holiday; Eddie and the gang plot to crash a cool older girl’s party; Jessica and Emery are spooked when they hear a strange man’s voice emanating from Grandma’s room, and things get even creepier when a mysterious group of strangers whisk Grandma away, and they suspect the supernatural worst. George Takei guest stars as Bernard. (8:30–9:00 p.m.)

“black-ish” – “Advance to Go (Collect $200)” – The Johnsons get together to play Monopoly during family game night and the competition is intense. As the night progresses, alliances are formed and some family members are pushed to their limits. Meanwhile, Bow makes it clear how she feels about Junior’s girlfriend, Megan. (9:00-9:30 p.m.)

“The Mayor” – “City Hall-oween” – As Halloween approaches, Mayor Courtney Rose and Police Chief Fox (guest star Kristen Johnston) find themselves at odds on how to handle the community’s first annual spook-tacular celebration at City Hall. During the night of the bash, it dawns on Courtney that throwing a party to keep kids safe doesn’t address the bigger issues in Fort Grey so he comes up with a more comprehensive plan. Meanwhile, Dina gets into the spirit by dressing up as Congresswoman Maxine Waters, while Jermaine and T.K. set out to prank Val who has the last laugh when she outsmarts the guys at their own game. (9:30-10:00 p.m.)

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 25
“The Goldbergs” – “Jackie Likes Star Trek” – After Adam and Jackie disagree over their Halloween costumes, Murray teaches Adam to be a shell of a man to keep Jackie happy; however, it backfires quickly also causing an issue for Murray and Beverly. But they soon all learn to compromise in their own special way, in the Halloween and 100th episode, directed by Lea Thompson (8:00–8:30 p.m.)

“Speechless” – “N-I–NIGHTMARE ON D-I–DIMEO STREET” – The DiMeo kids mistakenly eat old Halloween candy that causes feverish dreams of horror and wish fulfillment, and Kenneth agonizes over which era of Michael Jackson to dress as for Halloween. (8:30-9:00 p.m.)

“Modern Family” – “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Phil Dunphy” – Phil and Claire still want to celebrate Halloween in a big way, but it seems no one shares their same enthusiasm making them wonder if maybe everyone is right. Over at the Pritchett’s, Mitch and Cam are frustrated by how long Jay is taking to finish their kitchen remodel, which forces Mitch to finally stand up to his dad. Meanwhile, Gloria’s hospitality is wearing thin when Cam oversteps his boundaries as a house guest. (9:00-9:31 p.m.)

“American Housewife” – “Boo-Who?” – Westport is known for its Halloween tradition of leaving an anonymous note and goodies on a neighbors’ doorstep (called a “Boo”). Katie tries to play it cool but is absolutely giddy when the Ottos receive their first “Boo,” only to find out it was put there by accident, on a special Halloween episode. (9:31-10:00 p.m.)

SUNDAY, OCT. 29
“It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and “You’re Not Elected, Charlie Brown” – This full-length version of the classic animated PEANUTS special “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” includes the bonus cartoon, “You’re Not Elected, Charlie Brown,” in which Linus runs for class president. The PEANUTS gang celebrates Halloween, with Linus hoping that, finally, he will be visited by The Great Pumpkin, while Charlie Brown is invited to a Halloween party. Cast members include Peter Robbins (Charlie Brown) and Christopher Shea (Linus). The cast also includes Sally Dryer as Lucy, Chris Doran as Schroeder, Bill Melendez as Snoopy, Kathy Steinberg as Sally, Tracy Stratford as Violet and Ann Altieri as Frieda. “You’re Not Elected, Charlie Brown” – in which Linus runs for class president with Lucy and Charlie Brown managing his campaign – features Chad Webber as Charlie Brown, Robin Kohn as Lucy, Stephen Shea as Linus, Hilary Momberger as Sally and Todd Barbee as Russell.
