A HELL OF A TIME ...
JACK OSBOURNE AND KATRINA WEIDMAN PLUNGE INTO A NEW SEASON OF PETRIFYING PARANORMAL ACTIVITY WHEN TRAVEL CHANNEL'S "PORTALS TO HELL" RETURNS ON FRIDAY, MARCH 13 AT 9 P.M. ET/PT

Two-Hour Season Premiere Uncovers Bona Fide Terrors Inside Ohio's Old Paulding Jail
NEW YORK (February 20, 2020) - Descend into all-new eerie encounters when Travel Channel's hit series, "Portals to Hell," returns for Season Two on Friday, March 13, with a special two-hour episode beginning at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Avid paranormal investigators Jack Osbourne and Katrina Weidman resume their chilling journey to historically haunted locations in the United States, confronting sinister stories of the supernatural as they seek concrete evidence that a spirit world exists. Eight additional hour-long episodes will move to their regular 10 p.m. ET/PT timeslot beginning Friday, March 20.

"This season is intense," said Weidman. "Jack and I purposefully explore locations that embody the darker side of the paranormal, as we try to understand why certain places evoke more sinister activity than others. It's exciting to see what new discoveries we can make in the paranormal field. Yet as we explore the unexplained, we can only presume to know what we're working with. At the end of the day we really don't - and that's the scary part."

The undaunted duo will face their most fearsome cases yet, as they uncover disturbing tales from bygone pasts and unnerving paranormal activity. Osbourne and Weidman filter through extensive research, utilize advanced scientific equipment and enlist a network of specialists, including psychic mediums, to try and exhume answers behind these terrifying hauntings.

"Katrina and I are breaking down walls - literally," said Osbourne. "We have unprecedented access to a number of locations and are also the first team to ever investigate some of them for TV. They're incredibly active sites for the paranormal, and we're going all in to try and capture substantial evidence."

In the special two-hour season premiere, Jack Osbourne and Katrina Weidman head to Paulding, Ohio, to investigate the Old Paulding Jail - an almost 150-year-old site rumored to be haunted by the spirits of former inmates, sheriffs and even the victim of a horrific, 60-year-old cold case crime. The pair find it hard to uncover the truth in a sea of rumors, cover-ups and theories of what happened to the young woman who was murdered. They call in a trusted psychic in their search for answers. Determined to find out more, Osbourne and Weidman break down the last remaining sealed jail cell in the basement ... and are shocked to discover large bone fragments scattered within. Now, the possibility of not only contacting spirits, but also solving a town's most infamous murder is on the line. As the investigation deepens, Osbourne has a paranormal experience that will forever change him as an investigator and truth seeker.

Upcoming locations include:
· Fort William Henry (Lake George, New York), the site of one of the bloodiest massacres in Colonial America
· Croke-Patterson Mansion (Denver, Colorado), a 130-year-old building plagued with paranormal activity since its creation
· Ohio State Reformatory (Mansfield, Ohio), a deadly prison also known for its role in The Shawshank Redemption
· Thomas House Hotel (Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee), a once-thriving natural springs resort where guests fell victim to deadly waters
· Iron Island Museum (Buffalo, New York), a century-old building that is rumored to house not one, but two, portals
· Haunted Hill House (Mineral Wells, Texas), a hellish location plagued by rumors of demonic activity
· Shanghai Tunnels (Portland, Oregon), a network of underground tunnels notorious for its role in slavery and kidnapping victims

TALE OF THE TAPE: TRAVEL CHANNEL RENEWS HAUNTING SERIES "THE HOLZER FILES" TO RETRACE MORE CASES FROM AMERICA'S FIRST GHOST HUNTER
On the Eve of Hans Holzer's 100th Birthday, Network Greenlights Spirited Renewal of Second Season

NEW YORK (January 23, 2020) - Last year, exclusively and for the first-time ever, Travel Channel reopened the case files of America's first ghost hunter, Hans Holzer, revealing the original recordings and documents from the paranormal pioneer's renowned studies. Following a very successful first season of "The Holzer Files" - which pulled in more than 5.8 million viewers - Travel Channel has announced a second season pickup. The series will return in late 2020 with 13 brand new episodes.

"Viewers were fascinated to reopen these mysterious and harrowing cases through 'The Holzer Files,'" said Travel Channel general manager Matthew Butler. "It really is a striking tribute to Hans Holzer himself - who would have turned 100 this week - to revisit more of his investigations and to honor his lifelong work and pioneering journey into the unknown."

In "The Holzer Files," a dedicated paranormal team - led by paranormal investigator Dave Schrader, psychic medium Cindy Kaza and equipment technician Shane Pittman - revisits Holzer's most captivating cases. With the help of Holzer's daughter, Alexandra Holzer, and researcher Gabe Roth, the team picks up where Holzer left off to re-examine the terrifying hauntings that he dedicated his life to researching.

Recognized as the "father of the paranormal," Hans Holzer's legendary four-decade exploration into disturbing hauntings like the Amityville Horror house, helped spawn legions of supernatural enthusiasts, more than 120 books and even inspired Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis to write "Ghostbusters." In each hour-long episode, the team will cull through thousands of Holzer's recently discovered documents, letters, photographs and chilling audio and visual recordings dating back to the 1950s. Using his findings, team members track down recent developments from each haunting and head back to the location to reinvestigate with a fresh perspective, harnessing their own research, skills and expertise.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Dave Schrader is an experienced paranormal investigator and radio host. He became fascinated with the unexplained at an early age, reading books by parapsychology pioneers like Hans Holzer. He has traveled the world in search of the truth behind some of the most terrifying claims of the supernatural. Dedicated listeners from across the globe have been tuning into Schrader nightly via his popular radio programs like "Darkness Radio" and "Midnight in the Desert," where he deep dives into the strange, fringe and bizarre realms of the paranormal. He is also the co-author of the book "The Other Side" and has been featured on several hit paranormal television series including "Ghost Adventures," "Paranormal Challenge" and "Paranormal State." Schrader prides himself on being one of the last people to interview Hans Holzer before his death and is determined to honor Holzer's legendary legacy.

Cindy Kaza is a psychic medium who had her first memorable encounter with a spirit when she was just 10 years old. She dismissed this chilling experience as just a dream until her early 20s, when she realized she was continually having psychically spiritual experiences. Since this "awakening," Kaza has been searching for the truth about her gifts and testing the limits of her multi-faceted abilities, including "automatic writing," in which she allows the dead to communicate directly through her via free-form writing. Kaza has trained at England's renowned Arthur Findlay School of Intuitive Sciences and now travels across America providing people startling evidence and messages from the dead.

Shane Pittman is an equipment technician who has had profound unexplained paranormal experiences since childhood. Pittman became determined to learn as much as he could by researching every possible technological method, in the hopes of finding the truth about his otherworldly encounters. Pittman strives to use his passion for modern technology to advance the field of paranormal study, attempting to scientifically validate paranormal experiences using the latest techniques available. Pittman is also the lead investigator for the Fusion Paranormal team and was host of "The Fusion Project" podcast.

Alexandra Holzer is the daughter of legendary parapsychologist Dr. Hans Holzer and has continued his research into the unknown. She is a published author and paranormal investigator and, along with her husband, founded the New York-based global investigation organization, Hunt with Holzer.
Gabe Roth is an experienced researcher, storyteller and producer with a background in journalism, captivated by the freaky facts and fascinating fictions associated with the paranormal. He has produced several paranormal television series, including "My Haunted House" and "Evil Things."

TRAVEL CHANNEL'S NEW SERIES 'HAUNTING IN THE HEARTLAND' INVESTIGATES COMMUNITIES HAUNTED BY UNEARTHLY RESIDENTS
SERIES PREMIERES FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21 AT 10 P.M. ET/PT

NEW YORK (Jan. 21, 2020) - Why do so many communities across America have stories of unexplained paranormal experiences that, through word-of-mouth and consistency, turn into lore? In the new Travel Channel series, "Haunting in the Heartland," premiering on Friday, February 21 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, paranormal investigator and documentary filmmaker Steve Shippy visits Midwestern towns that have been traumatized for generations by ripples of fear. Growing up in a rural Michigan "creepy house on the corner," Shippy uses his own personal experiences to make intimate connections with the families who've reached out to him for help. He then puts the puzzle pieces together to identify and decipher the larger mystery of the town's haunting.

Through eyewitness accounts, town archives, visits to historic sites and his own paranormal toolkit, Shippy explores emerging theories until a full picture of the town's ghostly protagonist appears, and a peaceful resolution can be formulated. On his journey through a new heartland town in each of the six one-hour episodes, Shippy seeks to directly confront the entity and bring closure to the people of the town. This season will aim to provide true investigative closure to the mystery of paranormal presence found in Malvern, Iowa (pop. 7,621), Atchison, Kansas (pop. 10,636), Hebron, Kentucky (pop. 5,929), Merrill, Michigan (pop. 735), Holly Springs, Mississippi (pop. 7,621) and Greeneville, Tennessee (pop. 15,062).

"Growing up in a haunted house in a small Midwestern town, I understand the isolation of the experience, and it was only when others in town started to have similar experiences that I realized I wasn't alone," said Shippy. "Like my documentaries, working on this show is truly my life's work. These small towns have a bigger story to tell, and in order to find the resolution these families need now, we need to piece together their past."

In the premiere episode, Shippy travels to the old farming village of Merrill, Michigan, to confront an evil spirit holding the town hostage since the 1800s. In the summer of 1974, the hauntings seemed to spread when a malevolent force invaded a family farm, spurring a massive investigation by the local and state police and fire departments, and even the FBI. The reign of terror culminated in a spontaneous fire, forcing family members to eventually flee the home they'd built by hand. The encounters never ceased and today, less than a mile away, another family is under siege by something so powerful, they fear for their safety. Joining forces with local authorities and historians, Shippy uncovers a town ravaged by a smallpox epidemic and tragic fires, and a shocking connection to another notorious haunting. Shippy enlists the help of a clairvoyant to dispel the evil entity before another heartland family is forced from their home.

ABOUT STEVE SHIPPY
Steve Shippy is a filmmaker and paranormal expert. He grew up in a small town near Saginaw, Michigan, and literally was the kid living in the "creepy house on the corner." Shippy was a victim of a severe haunting, and actually witnessed several apparitions. After investigating his own haunting, he discovered a shocking truth - the previous owners had been brutally murdered.
The story became local legend, the hauntings never stopped, and Shippy and his family ultimately had to move away. The experience stayed with Shippy and as he grew older he realized that running should not have been the answer. He instinctively knew that what his family should have done was stand tall, toe-to-toe with the entity in his home. He sought out paranormal experts who worked with him to develop a way to understand what is really going on in hauntings - and how to confront the entities to either make them leave or to bring them peace and to end the haunting. It wasn't long before families and victims of other hauntings were contacting Shippy to ask him to investigate their cases.

Shippy began documenting his work on film, and to date has produced and directed 10 feature length documentaries (all available on Amazon Prime), including "A Haunting on Hamilton Street," "A Haunting on Dice Road," and "A Haunting on Brockway Street" where he investigates haunted locations to uncover the truth, and hopefully bring closure for residents of small towns like his.
Shippy is also an independent rapper better known by his stage name, Prozak. As a national recording artist for more than 15 years, his music has hit the billboard charts over 200 times, with his most notable album "Paranormal," charting over 100 times alone. Even his music career is inspired by his childhood quest to solve the equation of what is on the other side of the vale of mortality.

[via press release from Travel Channel] PARANORMAL PROFESSIONALS AMY BRUNI AND ADAM BERRY -- ALONG WITH MEDIUM CHIP COFFEY -- KICK OFF NEW YEAR WITH OLD HAUNTS IN FOURTH SEASON OF TRAVEL CHANNEL'S 'KINDRED SPIRITS' ON JANUARY 3 AT 9 P.M. ET/PT

The Thrills Continue as the Trio Visits the Home of 'The Conjuring' as the Perron Siblings and Their Father Visit the Home for the First Time Since Leaving

New York (December 5, 2019) - Bringing peace to the living by giving voice to the dead is the goal of Amy Bruni, Adam Berry and Chip Coffey from Travel Channel's "Kindred Spirits," returning to the network with 10 new episodes beginning Friday, January 3, 2020 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Watch the announcement and some behind-the-scenes here.

Paranormal investigators Bruni and Berry, along with psychic medium Coffey, enter America's darkest locations, demanding answers to the most chilling haunted mysteries. Their multilayered investigations dig deep into the past to identify the restless spirits and analyze the threat. Throughout the season, America's most intense paranormal activity takes them to evil and historic locations, including properties that were used as orphanages and asylums, as well as personal homes inhabited by aggressive entities.

"Across America, families in fear know that the team of Amy, Adam and Chip will pour their hearts, energy and skills into solving each harrowing case in front of them," said Matthew Butler, general manager, Travel Channel. "And with the 'Conjuring' home being investigated this season, the fourth season of 'Kindred Spirits' will be its most thrilling."

The January slate of new episodes include:
Premiere Episode - Friday, January 3 at 9 p.m. ET/PT - The Farrar Schoolhouse in Maxwell, Iowa, closed years ago, but a dark paranormal force recently seized control of the building. Witnesses claim a massive 14-foot entity now runs rampant through the four-story schoolhouse, prompting the caretakers to call in help. Amy Bruni and Adam Berry crack into the haunted space in search of answers. When shocking details regarding a cold-case murder align with information gathered during the investigation, there's no choice but to call on the help Chip Coffey. Where did this massive entity come from? And why is it so angry?

"Hell House" - Friday, January 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT - The infamous haunted house in Harrisville, Rhode Island (featured in the film, "The Conjuring") has awoken once more. Once plagued by demonic activity, the house earned endless notoriety after paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren documented the insane activity that transpired there. Now Amy Bruni and Adam Berry step inside this tormented home and seek answers to the unknown. And the best way to do that is by bringing in the family too scared to live there any more - The Perrons. It's a risky move and a dangerous experiment, but it's the only way to expose the truth behind this horrible haunting. Will Amy and Adam be more successful than former investigators? Will they bring peace to the Perrons and the new family who settled there? Or will darkness prevail?

New Episode - Friday, January 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT - Amy Bruni and Adam Berry help a family haunted by a demented shadow creature that only appears in the dark. Everyone witnesses the same entity, suffers from violent paranormal attacks and attributes the activity to the same creature. What's weird - the more they talk about the mysterious entity, the more powerful and aggressive it becomes. Now they live in silent fear of the shadow creature that lurks within their home in Yarmouth, Massachusetts. A thrilling investigation involving Chip Coffey leads to a rare realization.

New Episode - Friday, January 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT - The Old Jail in St. Augustine, Florida, exhibits disturbing paranormal activity, which is a major concern considering the violent criminals were once incarcerated there. Even more concerning: many of those felons were executed on the property. The facility has been converted into a tourist attraction and employees and guests are now victims of violent spiritual attacks. Amy Bruni and Adam Berry call on the help of Chip Coffey, who steps inside the jail's dark corridors and channels an extremely dark vision from beyond the grave. Are the murderous spirits lashing out in anger? Are the executed felons now running rampant in the afterlife? Or is there something bigger at play?

New Episode - Friday, January 31 at 9 p.m. ET/PT - A catastrophic flood consumed the riverside town of Derby, Connecticut in 1955. Debris and corpses flowed through the town leaving survivors to sift through victim's remains. According to local legend, caskets were stored in the basement of a local building that's now been converted into a restaurant. Now Amy Bruni and Adam Berry research claims that a powerful poltergeist haunts the building, attacks employees and scares off customers. Are former flood victims lashing out? Or is there a more sinister explanation?

ABOUT THE 'KINDRED SPIRITS' TEAM
Amy Bruni
Before Amy Bruni decided to follow her dreams and turn paranormal investigation into her livelihood, she spent a decade in the health insurance industry. Now she calls upon more than 20 years of investigative experience while helping people reclaim their homes and lives from the mysteries of the unknown. She has traveled the country to visit its most haunted places, researched the group dynamics of ghost-hunting teams and lectured on the history of paranormal investigation. Beginning in 2008, Bruni was a staple on "Ghost Hunters" and served as the team's historical researcher for seven seasons, during which time she met her ghost-hunting partner, Adam Berry. In 2014, she left the show to stay home with her family and start her own business, a boutique paranormal travel company called Strange Escapes. She also writes for her blog, My Spirited Life. The birth of her daughter and the importance of family have brought new value to Bruni's investigations, putting more focus on helping families try to reach the spirits of their loved ones.

Adam Berry
Adam Berry's love and passion for the paranormal ignited from an extremely haunting experience he had in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. After many years of study and research, he founded his own paranormal research team with his husband, Ben Berry. Then in 2010, he won reality competition show, "Ghost Hunters Academy," earning a coveted spot on the SFYF's original series, "Ghost Hunters," where he met and first teamed up with his investigation partner, Amy Bruni. When Berry isn't looking for ghosts he is the executive director of Peregrine Theatre Ensemble, a non-profit theater company based in Provincetown, Mass. Adam also sits on the board of directors for "Tim's Fund," a non-profit scholarship program created to support social activists who change the world through art, music, literature and filmmaking.

Chip Coffey
Chip Coffey is an internationally acclaimed psychic, medium, paranormal investigator, speaker and writer. He is the great-grandson of famed Native American medicine woman Minnie Sue Morrow Foster, and is also distantly related to General Robert E. Lee and Thomas Coffey, an actor who performed with Edwin and John Wilkes Booth. Chip was born in Upstate New York, spent much of his childhood in South Carolina and now resides in Atlanta. His psychic abilities manifested as a young child, and, after successful careers in traditional counseling, the entertainment industry and travel management, he began working full-time as a psychic and medium. Coffey hosted three season of "Psychic Kids" as well as "Paranormal State," both for A&E. He is an avid animal rescue advocate and works with group across the United States to save animals' lives.

[via press release from Travel Channel] FILMMAKER-EXPLORER J.J. KELLEY AND JOURNALIST KINGA PHILIPPS JOURNEY INTO THE WILDERNESS TO TRACE PUZZLING MISSING PERSONS CASES IN NEW TRAVEL CHANNEL SERIES "LOST IN THE WILD"

The Seasoned Explorers Seek Answers to Adventures Gone Mysteriously Awry - Premiering Sunday, December 29 at 11 p.m. ET/PT

NEW YORK (December 2, 2019) - Earth's lush terrain and shining seas can hide tales of adventures gone terribly wrong, where people have met mysterious ill-fated ends. With little evidence and few fragmented clues, the trail to truth eventually runs cold. In Travel Channel's new eight-episode series, "Lost in the Wild," premiering Sunday, December 29 at 11 p.m. ET/PT, veteran explorers J.J. Kelley and Kinga Philipps are reinvestigating these perplexing cases, venturing into the perilous unknown in search of answers.

In each one-hour episode, filmmaker and explorer J.J. Kelley and journalist Kinga Philipps retrace the harrowing steps of adventurers whose journeys took an unexpected turn for the worse. Picking up where the official investigation has ended, the duo sets off on foot to follow the path they believe will lead them to answers, interviewing witnesses and locals along the way. From trekking deep in the Amazon jungle in search of idealists looking for a lost city to climbing a treacherous mountain in Africa where dozens have vanished, the duo combine their wilderness and sleuthing skills to navigate their way toward the truth. Confronted with risky and uncertain situations, they test their own limits to investigate missed clues and new evidence behind these baffling cases.

"I've spent my life documenting the underbelly of the world, and the truth is always a few layers deep," said Kelley. "The answers to these stories may lie far off the beaten path, in a place where others didn't think - or dare - to look before. And that's where Kinga and I are headed."
"As a journalist and avid explorer, I readily dive headfirst into uncharted territory and take the unmarked road in order to reach new grounds," notes Philipps. "Between our investigative nature, wilderness expertise and relentless determination, J.J. and I will go as far as we can to find closure."
In the series premiere, Kelley and Philipps journey deep into the Panamanian jungle to solve the mystery of what happened to Lisanne Froon and Kris Kremers, two young Dutch women who disappeared on a hiking trail in 2014. Braving torrential rains and impenetrable darkness, they venture off the map in search of answers - following in the women's footsteps and matching their photos and phone records as they go. They find and attempt to cross the perilous cable bridge the Panamanian government says the women fell from and speak with the indigenous couple who discovered Lisanne's backpack in a small local village. Finally, their investigation culminates in an exclusive, explosive interview with a forensic pathologist, and the evidence he shares blows the lid off the "official" story.

Additional episodes include:
"Amazon's Atlantis" - Premieres Sunday, January 5 at 11 p.m. ET/PT
Kinga Philipps and J.J. Kelley follow in the footsteps of three adventurers who went missing while searching for the fabled city of Akakor. Trekking deep in the Amazon jungle, they consult a local tribe about the existence of Akakor and its mysterious people. The pair discovers an abandoned village apparently overrun by vicious predators and examine the scene of a crime that still remains unsolved. In an exclusive first, they interrogate the man at the center of it all - an enigmatic tour guide named Tatunca Nara, who claims to be Akakor's chieftain.

"Secrets to Die For" - Premieres Sunday, January 12 at 11 p.m. ET/PT
Kinga Philipps and J.J. Kelley investigate the disappearances of Tom Young and Keith Reinhard - two men who disappeared mere months apart in the same mountains above Silver Plume, Colorado. Was it just coincidence? Could they have been victims of a vicious animal attack or a serial killer? Or could they actually have stumbled upon a darker secret - important enough to kill for? The pair consults local law enforcement, friends of the missing and a psychic medium for answers.
"Murder in Shangri-La" - Premieres Sunday, January 19 at 11 p.m. ET/PT

Kinga Philipps and J.J. Kelley investigate the mysterious disappearance of adventurer and social media star Justin Alexander, who in 2016 ventured into India's fabled "Valley of Death" and never returned. The pair attempts to track down Justin's porter, who may be the only person alive that knows what really happened to him. They uncover a never-released recording that challenges the official narrative and secure an interview with a holy man who reveals shocking information about Justin's guide. Ultimately, they confront a terrible truth about how one man's zest for life may have led him to his untimely death.

[via press release from Travel Channel] TRAVEL CHANNEL'S NEW SERIES "GHOST LOOP" RESURRECTS EMOTIONALLY CHARGED MOMENTS TO END TERRIFYING CYCLES OF TRAPPED PARANORMAL ACTIVITY

Premieres Saturday, January 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT
NEW YORK (November 19, 2019) - When paranormal entities terrorize the living through endless and repetitive supernatural cycles, manifesting again and again in the same location, it is known as a "ghost loop." Now, a team of highly specialized paranormal experts, who focus on this distinct type of haunting, are stepping in to help both the living and the dead. In Travel Channel's new eight-episode series, "Ghost Loop," premiering on Saturday, January 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, the team will attempt to break cycles of trapped paranormal activity and restore peace by drawing out each spirit through re-created trigger environments.

In each hour-long episode, the "Ghost Loop" team of experts - paranormal investigator and medium Sean Austin, empath Kris Star, researcher and tech advisor Chris Califf, design specialist Eric Vitale and tech support Matt Lytle - first examine and research their client's property and history and perform a preliminary paranormal investigation. Taking their facts and findings, they formulate a plan they believe will help stop the haunting. Whether it's building a 1900s-era train compartment, replicating a tavern from the 1850s, or constructing a 19th century baby's nursery, the team uses each emotionally charged setting to draw out the entities during intense follow-up investigations. Hoping to engage the spirit, the group aims to release the energy and break the loop once and for all - bringing peace to everyone involved.

During the series premiere, the team head to Houston, where homeowner Becky is terrified by sounds of someone breaking into her home night after night - only to encounter an aggressive male entity that routinely attacks her. On their preliminary investigation, the group frighteningly gets "picked off" one by one: Kris gets sick, Matt is overwhelmed by a burning sensation on his body and Califf and Sean get into a conflict fueled by the angry spirit. Through their research, they discover that in 1921, a murder occurred in the home involving a young woman and her abusive boyfriend, whom she shot in self-defense. In order to stop the dangerous activity in Becky's home, the team builds an environment that mimics the fateful night - and use Kris to elicit the spirit.

Upcoming episodes:
"Cradle to the Grave" - Premieres Saturday, January 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT
The team arrives in Palatka, Florida, where homeowner Theresa is being terrorized by an entity that crawls across the ceiling from one of her son's bedrooms to another. Theresa's land has a violent and tragic past that leads the team to investigate three locations: Theresa's home, an alleged stillborn burial ground and a bridge where lynchings were once committed.
"Frozen in Fear" - Premieres Saturday, January 18 at 10 p.m. ET/PT
In Lubbock, Texas, the team tries to help rid their client, Michelle and her young children of the ghost loop terrorizing them, but they are targeted by a malevolent spirit known as the Tall Man. Through their investigation and research of local folklore, they discover the Tall Man was once a train robber who killed his victims by throwing them off a Lubbock train trestle. By engaging the spirit in a 1900s-era train car trigger environment, the team attempts to cast him out.

"Ghost Loop" is produced by Essential Media Group for Travel Channel. For Essential Media Group, the executive producers are Jesse Fawcett, Greg Quail and Mary Pelloni. For Travel Channel, the executive producer is Daniel A. Schwartz, Julie Meisner Eagle is vice president of production and development, Matthew Butler is general manager and Henry Schleiff is group president of Investigation Discovery, Travel Channel, American Heroes Channel and Destination America.

ABOUT THE "GHOST LOOP" TEAM
Sean Austin began investigating 11 years ago when he gathered his first paranormal evidence in a graveyard: an EVP recording of a young girl's voice. He later apprenticed with noted demonologist Ralph Sarchi, under whom Sean learned the crafts of paranormal investigation, mediumship and demonology. A practicing Catholic, Sean feels that paranormal investigation is his calling, not only to bring ease to the living but also peace to those spirits trapped on this plane. Sean hails from Westchester, New York, and is the author of the book "Shadow Chasers."

Kris Star has been involved in the paranormal since she was 5 years old, when she encountered her grandfather's spirit after he passed. This occurrence unlocked her gift of "sight," which became apparent when she found she could sense haunted spaces and the entities trapped within them. Her sensitive aunt and paranormal investigator uncle mentored her in becoming an empath and clairsentient. Kris' goals are to help the living understand the spirit world and to bring peace to spirits locked in ghost loops. She is a native of Clifton, New Jersey.

Chris Califf began investigating when he was just a teenager, in an attempt to contact his father who had passed away. Fifteen years later, he believes that technology and research are the best way to prove or disprove paranormal activity. His love of history also aids him in his exhaustive searches for the root causes of the ghost loops. Hailing from Salem, Oregon, he loves to help people and is fiercely protective of his team.

Eric Vitale has been investigating the paranormal for six years and is heavily influenced by the work of paranormal pioneers Ed and Lorraine Warren. He finds he is often drawn to dark, dangerous cases that involve evil and sometimes demonic entities. He feels the team's use of trigger environments are a surefire way of communicating and eventually crossing over trapped spirits. He's from Rochelle Park, New Jersey, and feels his Catholic faith guides him in his mission to help families in need.
Matt Lytle had his first paranormal experience when he was 15 years old, after witnessing his recently passed grandmother comforting his sleeping grandfather. He's investigated the paranormal ever since and two years ago discovered he had the gift of clairsentience - the ability to sense spirits and auras. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he is the youngest of the group and feels blessed to be part of such an experienced team.

Travel Channel to Launch New Series "Trending Fear" with Adam Ellis - Internet and Twitter Author of #DearDavid Sensational Ghost Boy Stories
"Adam's extraordinary personal experience and harrowing tale that went viral in 'Dear David' makes him uniquely positioned to help those grappling with paranormal fear," said Matthew Butler, general manager, Travel Channel.
[via press release from Travel Channel] TRAVEL CHANNEL TO LAUNCH NEW SERIES "TRENDING FEAR" WITH ADAM ELLIS - INTERNET AND TWITTER AUTHOR OF #DEARDAVID SENSATIONAL GHOST BOY STORIES

- New Six-Part Series Premieres Friday, December 20 at 11 p.m. ET/PT -
NEW YORK (November 13, 2019) - In 2017, Buzzfeed author and illustrator Adam Ellis captured the image of a ghost child in his New York City apartment and wrote his first of many spine-tingling tweets: "My apartment is currently being haunted by the ghost of a dead child and he's trying to kill me."

In a state of fear and confusion, he documented his haunting on social media under the hashtag #DearDavid. Fourteen million people feverishly followed his terrifying experience, yearning for answers behind the little boy who invaded Ellis' life.

Now, fueling both his fascination and his fear of the paranormal while simultaneously tapping into social media to explore every angle of his search, Ellis and friends Jen Lewis (researcher/documentarian) and Paul Bradford (ghost hunter and lead investigator) are on a mission to help others understand and escape their own nightmares in a new Travel Channel original series, "Trending Fear," premiering Friday, December 20 at 11 p.m. ET/PT. In each of the six hour-long episodes, the trio will travel America - from Oregon to Massachusetts - hoping to help people take back their lives after unexplainable encounters with the paranormal. By assisting others, Ellis hopes what he learns from his hands-on investigations will help further a deeper understanding of his own haunting.

"Adam's extraordinary personal experience and harrowing tale that went viral in 'Dear David' makes him uniquely positioned to help those grappling with paranormal fear," said Matthew Butler, general manager, Travel Channel. "The stories in 'Trending Fear' give local community members the ability to discuss and engage with paranormal stories that most thought too taboo to discuss publicly. Adam, Jen and Paul will be able to take them through the investigations - in real time and with community help - unlike any other paranormal stories before."

Not only will the group use traditional methods in their paranormal pursuits, Ellis and Lewis will also use social media to crowdsource stories, theories and evidence to build a community and conversation around each case. Ellis, Lewis and Bradford also will leverage social media live during each premiere to provide additional insight and connect with the community that aided in each episode. TravelChannel.com will be home for show extras, behind-the-scenes photos and exclusive videos. Follow @TravelChannel and #TrendingFear on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for additional content and updates.
The series premiere takes the team to Franklinville, New Jersey, widely known among Jerseyites as a particularly haunted township. Cathy Allen's home is right in the thick of the chaos. She has been yelled at and even pushed down the stairs, and now the hauntings are affecting her health and putting strain on her marriage. After getting a direct message from Stephanie, Allen's daughter, Ellis rounds up Bradford and Lewis. Arriving in Franklinville, the trio is thrown right into the mix when the spirit immediately makes his presence known, demanding they leave. But is it just the former homeowner who refuses to depart, or is something darker and more sinister at play?
Upcoming episodes:

The crew arrives in Oregon, after a desperate tweet from Summer Morgan. She fears her deceased grandmother - who lived in New Orleans and was heavily into Voodoo - is haunting her.
"The Haunted Homecoming" - Premieres Friday, January 3 at 11 p.m./ ET/PT
The 93-year-old Norwood Theatre in Massachusetts is experiencing something supernatural - one of its volunteers has had two dozen encounters with a dark entity and now refuses to step foot in the basement. The team heads to Massachusetts and comes face-to-face with the darkness.
"Ghost Train to Terror" - Premieres Friday, January 10 at 11 p.m. ET/PT
In historic Tomball, Texas, the idiosyncratic Tejas BBQ & Chocolate occupies the town's oldest structure, but the building is inundated with suspected paranormal activity. After a series of terror-filled incidents, can Ellis and the team get to the heart of this mystery?
"Paranormal Witness" - Premieres Friday, January 17 at 11 p.m. ET/PT
In the desert near Tucson, Arizona, Aaron Miller has recorded hundreds of ghostly voices. The team commences an investigation and uncovers a stunning revelation: evidence of a serial killer who once dumped bodies upon the land Miller's house now sits upon.
"Boss Man" - Premieres Friday, January 24 at 11 p.m. ET/PT
In Mineola, Texas, Ellis, Bradford and Lewis take on their most extreme haunting yet when a paranormal infestation rules a home and carriage house. Ultimately, it will require the attention of a demonologist and two world-renowned psychics to help solve it.
"Trending Fear" is produced by Texas Crew Productions for Travel Channel. For Texas Crew Productions, the executive producers are David Karabinas, Rick Cikowski, Bill Hochhauser and Brad Bernstein. [via press release from Travel Channel] FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, AN ELITE TEAM OF RESEARCHERS HAVE THE CLUES TO FIND ELUSIVE EVIDENCE IN TRAVEL CHANNEL'S UNCANNY NEW SERIES "EXPEDITION BIGFOOT" - PREMIERING WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4 AT 10 P.M. ET/PT

Team Believes an Advanced Algorithm is the Missing Key to Solving the Bigfoot Legend
NEW YORK (November 4, 2019) - Every year hundreds of eyewitnesses log their alleged encounters with the legendary creature Bigfoot. All told, there have been more than 10,000 reported modern-day sightings of Bigfoot in the continental United States, with more than one-third of them emanating from the Pacific Northwest. And while many have searched for the elusive beast, no one knows where or when this legendary cryptid will be seen next, nor have they put forth credible, indisputable evidence of the creature's existence. Until now...

Old legend meets new modern-day technology as an elite team of skilled searchers are using an advanced data algorithm and groundbreaking science and tools to analyze five decades of Bigfoot sightings and to pinpoint when and where to encounter this elusive beast. With these results and gadgetry at their disposal, they now know the time and place to search for evidence of Bigfoot. Travel Channel's new eight-part investigative-adventure series "Expedition Bigfoot," premiering Wednesday, December 4 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, tracks the expert team throughout their harrowing experience and pioneering endeavor.

With a unique blend of expertise, the team - including Bryce Johnson (Expedition Operations); Dr. Mireya Mayor (Primatologist); Russell Acord (Ex-Military/Survivalist); Ronny LeBlanc (Bigfoot Researcher); and Ryan "RPG" Golembeske (Bigfoot Investigator) - may finally take one of the world's greatest mysteries out of the pages of legend and lore and into reality. Throughout their three-week sojourn to an undisclosed, remote location in a 90,000-acre swath of land in central Oregon, they use the latest advanced technologies to narrow their search within the target zone. As the investigation intensifies, evidence that Bigfoot is in the area begins to pile up. Possible nesting sites, footprints and vocalizations lead the team to a hot spot where inexplicable events occur and one of the greatest pieces of video evidence in Bigfoot history is recorded.

"Travel Channel has assembled the very best team of experts in Bigfoot lore and science to give us proof of the creature's existence once and for all," said Matthew Butler, general manager, Travel Channel. "The journey is formidable, and the jeopardy is real. Skeptics and believers alike will both agree the trek this team makes is something they have never seen before."

ABOUT THE 'EXPEDITION BIGFOOT' CAST
Bryce Johnson: Acclaimed actor/producer as well as creator and host of the popular podcast "Bigfoot Collectors Club," Bryce has been obsessed with Bigfoot ever since he was a young boy. Although acting is his profession, researching the strange and unexplained along with crypto-zoological creatures is his passion. Those two pursuits converged in 2013 when Bryce starred in the critically lauded movie "Willow Creek," a found-footage horror film about a quest to find evidence of Bigfoot. While researching his role, Bryce met Robert "Bob" Gimlin, the man who, along with Roger Patterson, captured the legendary footage of Bigfoot in 1967. That meeting and their subsequent friendship, cemented Bryce's commitment to pursuing the truth about the existence of Bigfoot. He can be found on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

Dr. Mireya Mayor: World-renowned primatologist, Fulbright Scholar and National Science Foundation Fellow, Mireya Mayor is not your typical scientist. For nearly two decades, she has been a wildlife correspondent, reporting on wildlife and habitat loss while advocating for solutions to the alarming trends. Mireya has been hailed as a "female Indiana Jones," in the media and is an inspiration to young women interested in science and exploration. A two-time Emmy Award-nominated field correspondent for the National Geographic Channel, Mireya reports to audiences worldwide on pertinent wildlife and habitat issues. Her explorations have led to several scientific discoveries, most notably her co-discovery of the world's smallest primates, a brand-new species to science. The daughter of Cuban immigrants, Mireya grew up in Miami and earned her bachelor's degree in anthropology and English at the University of Miami and went on to earn her Ph.D. from Stony Brook University. She recently joined Florida International University as Director of the Exploration and Science Communication Initiative. Mireya is also the author of Pink Boots and a Machete: My Journey from NFL Cheerleader to National Geographic Explorer. She can be found on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, as well as on the Web.

Russell Acord: Author of Footprints of a Legend and Bigfoot and the Tripwire, event coordinator for The International Bigfoot Conference and skilled survivalist, retired Army Sergeant Russell Acord spends his free time traveling the Pacific Northwest looking for evidence of Bigfoot. Raised in the mountains of Montana, Russell takes a solid scientific approach to his Bigfoot research. His interest in the subject began when he saw the famous Patterson/Gimlin film, and he has been actively searching for Bigfoot since the late 70s. He can be found on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
Ronny LeBlanc: Ronny LeBlanc is a globally recognized figure in the world of paranormal, Bigfoot and UFOs. Ronny is an independent researcher, screenwriter and author of the critically-acclaimed and best-selling book Monsterland: Encounters with UFOs, Bigfoot and Orange Orbs, which details the history and connection between the various phenomena, highlighting his experience and a research area called Monsterland in central Massachusetts. Ronny was the first person ever to cast a Bigfoot print in the Bay State from a trackway discovered by a couple in Leominster State Forest in the summer of 2010. He is a regular speaker at the Exeter UFO Festival, New England UFO Conference and ParaFest and has been featured on nationally syndicated radio programs like "Coast to Coast AM with George Noory" and "Fade to Black with Jimmy Church." He was recently highlighted for his research experience in a cover story for The Boston Herald. He is the founder and host of the "Monsterland" podcast. He can be found on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, as well as the Web.

Ryan "RPG" Golembeske: Ryan Golembeske is a born Bigfooter, raised in a family that believed in all things "Crypto." Their summer vacations were spent trudging through dense forest in search of Sasquatch and traveling to Scotland to find proof of the Loch Ness Monster. As an adult, Ryan has continued his family's passions. He has travelled the world following the reports of strange animals and the "cousins" of Bigfoot - from the jungles of the Amazon looking for Mapinguari to the mountains of east Asia in search of the Orang Pendak. His quests and his strong connection with nature only deepen his understanding of Bigfoot and the mysterious. He can be found on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
