Based on New York Times best-selling author Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson’s graphic novel of the same name, HAPPY! follows Nick Sax (Christopher Meloni, “Law & Order: SVU”) – an intoxicated, corrupt ex-cop turned hit man – who is adrift in a world of casual murder, soulless sex and betrayal. After a hit gone wrong, his inebriated life is forever changed by a tiny, relentlessly positive, imaginary blue winged horse named “Happy” (Patton Oswalt). Executive producers Morrison (“Batman,” “The Invisibles”) and Brian Taylor (“Crank,” “Gamer”) co-wrote the pilot teleplay. Neal Moritz, Pavun Shetty and Toby Jaffe of Original Film (“The Fast and the Furious” franchise), Meloni and showrunner Patrick Macmanus will also executive produce. Taylor directed the pilot.

An arrival from Lambda headquarters gives the town hope for the first time in weeks. The company distributes supplies, promising to get everyone off the island in due course. While the eccentric young CEO Daphne Vikander takes great interest in Roman, Landis suspects she has unsavory designs for the townspeople’s future.

Warren's dream leads our heroes back to MERCY LABS from the Season Three Movie "No Mercy". Images in her dream drive her to search the destroyed complex and find a mysterious cylinder of gas which she is compelled to bring along, without knowing why.

 

SUPERSTITION “Echoes of My Mind” – 10/9c

The Dredge captures Calvin and tries to torture him into releasing the evil demons imprisoned in his ring. What's worse, The Dredge's minions are descending on the town's Founders Day Festival.

GHOST WARS “Whistle Past the Graveyard”- 10/9c

A power outage sends Port Moore into a tailspin. The ghosts are somehow stronger, prompting Roman, Jimmy, Landis and Doug to trek up to the dam to get the power back on fast. But a long-buried town secret threatens to tear the group apart.

Z NATION “Crisis of Faith” – 9/8c

Warren's inability to stop the mayhem causes a crisis of faith in the whole group. Surrounded by Zombies in an abandoned church, their faith is restored after encountering a mysterious stranger who they think is a grave robber, but who turns out to be something much more.

The Hastingses are visited by a local mystic (Aunt Nancy) who believes she has the answer to defeating The Dredge.

GHOST WARS “We Need to Talk About Abigail”- 10/9c

As Val organizes a civil defense force to protect the town, her twin daughter Abigail goes missing. Jimmy leads the charge to find the young girl, employing Roman’s medium skills and anyone else who’s willing to set foot in the treacherous forest on the outskirts of town.

Shaken by the death of Lucy and losing faith in Warren's dream Our Heroes come upon a group of evil "Zuggalo" clown-style bandits torturing a captive. Something snaps in Murphy and Warren is unable to stop Murphy and the others from committing an atrocity as misplaced revenge for the death of Lucy.

 

SUPERSTITION “Through the Looking Glass” – 10/9c

While on a case, May is sucked into a mysterious mirror world. The Hastings must save her before the witch that inhabits the mirror world escapes using May’s comatose body as a free ride.

FUTURAMA – 6:00am - **NEW TO SYFY**

Hapless NYC pizza guy Philip J. Fry makes a fateful delivery to a cryonics lab on New Year's Eve, 1999 when he's accidentally flash-frozen until the next millennium. Reawakened in 31st century New New York, he finds work at his great-great-etc. grandnephew's Planet Express delivery service. Together with his hedonist robot buddy Bender and cyclopsian love interest Leela, Fry travels to the farthest reaches of the universe. Along the way they discover strange alien life forms, velour-clad lotharios, freaky mutants, intergalactic conspiracies and the disembodied heads of celebrities throughout the ages.

“Futurama” makes its SYFY debut in a special weekend stunt beginning Saturday, November 11, with the series airing regularly in primetime on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8PM-2AM ET/PT and on Saturday mornings from 8-11AM ET/PT.

Z NATION “The Unknowns” – 9/8c

Our Heroes are captured by an Unseen Force and enslaved in an elaborate underground facility, forced by their mysterious captors to perform a series of bizarre dangerous tasks. They escape with the help of a zombie Lucy befriends, but when Lucy tries to save the Zombie, Murphy must come to her rescue and is bitten by a Mad-Z, mortally wounded.

 

SUPERSTITION “The Dredge” – 10/9c

The Dredge sends a "Trojan Horse" to the Hastings Funeral Home in order to gather intel about the Ring of Solomon. Calvin & Isaac subdue the intruder, but it comes at a great cost.

Pragmatic research scientist Landis Barker self-experiments to quantify the haunting of a Lambda Technologies branch in Port Moore after a particle accelerator test goes horribly wrong and the entire building goes into lockdown.

Z NATION “A New Mission: Keep Moving” – 9/8c

Following Warren's dream, our heroes must keep moving for an entire episode, never able to stop as they cross "The Great Pile" a seemingly endless landscape of rubble and destruction. Along the way they discover the Zombie virus has mutated again, and that killing the brain (mercy) no longer kills the zombie, they must be obliterated.

 

SUPERSTITION “Pilot” – 10/9c *SERIES PREMIERE*

Calvin Hastings returns home to reconnect with his family, but the reunion is cut short by a string of killings instigated by a supernatural villain only Calvin and his family can take down.

Fun new show on Syfy. If you like "Supernatural" and shows like that, you will probably like it. I interviewed Mario Van Peebles today. He's one of the stars, writers, directors and also executive producer!

SYFY just announced that the first episode of SUPERSTITION will now premiere tomorrow, Friday the 13th on digital platforms and On Demand. The TV premiere remains on Friday, October 20. (The show was originally supposed to debut tomorrow, Friday, 10/13 on Syfy but was pushed back to 10/20).
