A new episode that aired on Sunday, February 25, from 9-10 p.m. ET/PT grew impressions in the timeslot by 47% percent among viewers P25-54 and 97% among viewers M25-54. It also was the highest-rated premiere episode of Barnwood Builders ever. Another hit, Building Off The Grid, a series that follows adventurous families who build their own homes in the wilderness and live without the support of local utilities, delivered a 22 percent increase in impressions among viewers P25-54 over the prime average.

Freeform, Disney’s young adult television network, today announced “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger” will have its world premiere watch party during South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, on March 11, as partner programming. The premiere will mark Freeform and Marvel Television’s first presence at SXSW. “Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger” is the story of Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) and Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) – two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened by and awakened to newly discovered superpowers which are mysteriously linked to one another.

FEBRUARY 28, 2018, NEW YORK — NBCUniversal today announced its plan to decrease the number of advertisements in commercial pods by 20 percent and decrease advertising time by 10 percent across its networks during its original primetime programming. The company will also launch a new 60 second contextually-programmed PRIME POD in the first or last break of a show dedicated to up to two advertisers for stronger impact with viewers.

The industry knows that television is already the most effective advertising medium there is, but we need to make the experience better for viewers. We promised some big swings last fall to move our industry forward and this is the first one. Over the past five years, the video viewing environment has become more cluttered with more than 400,000 advertisements added. Consumer behavior has shifted and as viewers have migrated to other platforms, advertising effectiveness has waned.

LOS ANGELES, February 28, 2018 - Archer: Danger Island, the ninth season of the Emmy(R) Award-winning animated series, will premiere on Wednesday, April 25 at 10 PM ET/PT on FXX, it was announced today by Chuck Saftler, President, Program Strategy and COO, FX Networks.
Archer: Danger Island is an animated, half-hour comedy that centers on the semi-functioning alcoholic seaplane pilot, Sterling Archer, a lush on the lush South Pacific island of Mitimotu in 1939. While the rest of the world is concerned about the impending Second World War, Archer is only concerned with who's buying his next drink. Along with his trusty co-pilot Pam, Sterling must navigate quicksand, cannibals, super-intelligent monkeys, poison darts, pirates, and did we mention quicksand? Welcome to the mysterious and deadly world of Archer: Danger Island.
The series features the voices of H. Jon Benjamin as the hard-drinking pilot, "Sterling Archer;" Jessica Walter as Archer's acid-tongued mother and hotel owner, "Malory Archer;" Aisha Tyler as island royalty and local revolutionary, "Princess Lanaluakalani;" Judy Greer as the abandoned heiress, "Charlotte Vandertunt;" Chris Parnell as the obvious German spy posing as a businessman, "Siegbert Fuchs;" Amber Nash as Archer's co-pilot and loyal sidekick, "Pam Poovey;" Adam Reed as impeccably uniformed French Capitaine, "Reynaud;" and Lucky Yates as the audacious scarlet macaw, "Crackers."
Archer was created by Adam Reed and Floyd County Productions and is executive produced by Reed and Matt Thompson. It is produced by FX Productions.
Archer: Dreamland, the series' eighth season, debuts on DVD on Tuesday, March 20. Set in 1940s Los Angeles, Archer: Dreamland lands Archer on a quest to find his partner's killer. Contending with mobsters, including notorious crime boss "Mother," he's also challenged by a sultry lounge singer, a deranged heiress, crooked cops, knock-knock jokes, and his own libido.
