EXECUTIVE PRODUCER CURTIS ‘50 CENT’ JACKSON SNEAKS THE FIRST EPISODE OF NEW ORIGNAL DRAMA ‘THE OATH’ FOR 24 HOURS ON HIS PERSONAL FACEBOOK PAGE IN ADVANCE OF MARCH 8 PREMIERE ON CRACKLE, A SONY NETWORK

Today, Monday, February 26th, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson dropped the premiere episode of “The Oath,” his new scripted drama, on his Facebook page giving passionate fans a preview of the series for just 24 hours.  When sharing the series, which is set to premiere March 8 on Crackle, a Sony Network, 50 Cent said: “This shit is too damn good so why wait? Check out the first full episode of my new show The Oath on Crackle before it goes live. Sneak is up for just 24 hours so if you miss it, you'll have to wait until March 8 to stream the entire season free on Crackle.”

Jackson, and his G-Unit Film & Television Inc., serves as executive producer, along with Todd Hoffman and Dennis Kim of Storied Media Group, Anne Clements (“StartUp”) and Joe Halpin who is also creator, writer and showrunner.

Created by Halpin (“Hawaii Five-O,” “Secrets and Lies”), who worked as a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy in South Central for 17 years, 12 of which as an undercover officer, the series takes ‎an unforgiving look at the complicated dynamics in these organizations and documents the lives of those willing to risk it all, to have it all.

“The Oath” stars an internationally renowned cast led by “Game of Thrones” alum Sean Bean, Ryan Kwanten (“True Blood”), Cory Hardrict (American Sniper, Gran Torino), Katrina Law (“Training Day”), Arlen Escarpeta (“The Magicians”) and J.J. Soria (“Animal Kingdom,” “The Fosters).

The 10-episode series, available to stream for free starting March 8, explores a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend and sheds light on corrupt and secret societies that are nearly impossible to join—only a select few make the cut—but once inside, members will do what they must to protect each other from enemies on the outside and from within their own ranks.

Rounding out the ensemble are: Michael Malarkey (“The Vampire Diaries”), Eve Mauro (“CSI Miami”), Kwame Patterson (“The Wire,” “American Crime Story”), Linda Purl (“Homeland,” “True Blood”) and Elisabeth Röhm (“Law & Order”).  The series is directed by Jeff T. Thomas (“Blindspot,” “Wayward Pines”) and Luis Prieto (Kidnap, “StartUp”).
