Whether it's the perfect cat eye or crown braid, Lifetime's hit beauty competition series, American Beauty Star, has all your glam desires covered with the return of the show beginning Wednesday, January 2 at 10pm ET/PT, following new episodes of Project Runway All Stars. International superstar model Ashley Graham joins as the new host with celebrity makeup artist Sir John returning as mentor and a new panel of judges that include the world's original supermodel Christie Brinkley, Cosmopolitan's Chief Beauty Director Leah Wyar, and world acclaimed celebrity fashion and beauty photographer Yu Tsai for 13 all-new episodes.

Created by Herrick Entertainment, American Beauty Star season two features fourteen hair and makeup artists who will compete in a series of intense challenges, from creating high-end editorial looks to the latest red carpet and runway-ready beauty trends. The stakes are even higher this season as the contestants will be responsible for executing every aspect of their look from hair to makeup and everything in between. Each judge will use their unique expertise and decide who stays in and who packs up their brushes in each episode, leading to an explosive LIVE season finale event where viewers from across the country will vote for their favorite artist and help determine who will be the next American Beauty Star.

Revlon is the exclusive beauty sponsor across all categories including cosmetics, beauty tools and Revlon Professional hair products.

The winner of American Beauty Star will receive over $100,000 in cash and prizes including a $50,000 contract as a Consulting Beauty Artist with Revlon, an editorial feature in Cosmopolitan magazine, an all-expenses paid trip to New York City to see the hit Broadway musical, "Waitress," $10,000 worth of JTV jewelry and an opportunity to design their own signature collection of Zenni Eyewear.

Revlon will also provide winners of each of the Revlon challenges with Revlon products valued at $5,000. These will include Revlon cosmetics and Revlon Professional hair styling products which are featured in the show along with new collections launching in 2019. Winners of Hearst Magazine's Cosmo Challenge and Tie-in Challenge will receive a feature on Cosmopolitan.com showcasing their winning looks.

Los Angeles, CA (August 23, 2018) - Lifetime's hit beauty competition series, American Beauty Star began production on its second season this week in Atlanta. Created by Herrick Entertainment, Season 2 brings a whole new trio of judges including the world's original supermodel, Christie Brinkley; Hearst Magazines Chief Beauty Director, Leah Wyar; and world acclaimed, celebrity fashion and beauty photographer,Yu Tsai joining new host international superstar model Ashley Graham and mentor, world acclaimed celebrity makeup artist, Sir John. Each judge will use their unique experience to determine who stays in and who packs up their brushes in each episode.
This season will include an exclusive partnership with Hearst Magazines, spearheaded by Holly Whidden, head of Hearst Magazines entertainment division. The collaboration will include social and digital content across Hearst titles, unique challenges inspired by the high end magazines - including fan favorite COSMOPOLITAN - as well as the opportunity for the winner of season 2 to be featured in a top Hearst publication.

Iconic beauty brand Revlon joins the series as the exclusive beauty sponsor across all categories, providing Revlon color cosmetics, nail and beauty tools along with Revlon Professional hair products for contestants to use in challenges. There will also be two dedicated Revlon challenges this season which will push contestants to the limit to impress the judges and host Ashley Graham, Revlon's Global Brand Ambassador. Other sponsors include Disney, Microsoft, JTV, "Waitress" the Musical, Zenni Optical and She Wigs.

Lifetime's hit beauty competition series, American Beauty Star has been greenlit for a second season, featuring new host and executive producer, world-renowned international supermodel, Ashley Graham. Created by Herrick Entertainment, season two will feature legendary celebrity makeup artist Sir John, whose clients include superstars like Beyoncé and Naomi Campbell, will continue as the mentor to the new artists vying for the top prize.

The winner of American Beauty Star will receive a $50,000 cash prize, and coveted spot on the beauty team for a Teen Vogue editorial spread.
