NEW YORK, September 5, 2019 – The Jim Jefferies Show returns to Comedy Central on Tuesday, September 17 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT with all-new episodes highlighted by international field pieces covering global issues. The Australian late-night host will take viewers to places around the world, including Hong Kong, Australia, Japan and South Africa, for segments that highlight unique and thought-provoking international experiences.

Jefferies travels the globe to learn more about the world we live in. As the third season continues, Jefferies explores social credit scores in Hong Kong that utilize very unsettling facial recognition technology, racist products in Australia, population decline in Japan because socially awkward millennials aren’t having sex, traditional healers in South Africa, and more. Previous global destinations have included South Korea, Thailand, Australia, Africa, and throughout the United States.

NEW YORK, March 14, 2019 – Comedy Central’s The Jim Jefferies Show  returns for season three with a focus on diversity and culture from across the globe. The Australian late-night host will take viewers to multiple countries for segments that highlight unique and thought-provoking international experiences. The Jim Jefferies Show debuts on Tuesday, March 19 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT following the 11^th season premiere of Tosh.0.

In the upcoming season, The Jim Jefferies Show expands its international scope featuring segments where Jim will explore themes like immigration, gambling and racism. Not content to leave the investigating to a team of correspondents, Jim is one of the few late-night hosts who sends himself around the globe to learn more about the world we live in. No other host travels so far or so frequently, to explore such a wide range of topics. This year, Jim visits Hong Kong to find out if shark fins really give you sexual powers; fakes his own funeral with some South Koreans; spends a night with the “ladyboys” of Thailand; learns why millennials in Japan are too scared to date each other; strains diplomatic relations with North Korea at the DMZ; goes on an African safari with a team of badass female rangers; and finds out why his jokes could land him in jail in Singapore.

In its past two seasons, the series has filmed  segments in the Netherlands, Slovenia, Azerbaijan, Australia, United Kingdom, Ireland, Israel, and Canada.

The Jim Jefferies Show covers the most controversial issues through the lens of host Jim Jefferies’ distinctive brand of comedy and global point of view. The field piece to air in the premiere episode is a “Ride Along with the Amsterdam Police.” California is the latest US state to legalize marijuana and critics claim that it will lead to more serious drug use, traffic deaths and a rise in crime. Meanwhile, Amsterdam, famous for its Red Light District, was just named one of the safest cities in the world. Jefferies rides with two cops in Europe’s den of depravity to find out how bad crime really is in a city where prostitution and drugs are legal.
