HBO® Presents Conjoined Triangles of Success,
A Trio of Silicon Valley-inspired Beers in Partnership With
Monkish Brewing, Other Half Brewing and Cellarmaker Brewing
Triple IPAs celebrate the upcoming Silicon Valley series finale,
Available Now!

DECEMBER 3, 2019 - NEW YORK, NY – HBO Licensing & Retail is proud to announce the release of Conjoined Triangles of Success, a trio of brand-new beers created to commemorate the series finale of Silicon Valley on HBO, airing December 8. The Silicon Valley-inspired beers are brewed in partnership with Monkish Brewing, Other Half Brewing and Cellarmaker Brewing and are available for purchase today.

Conjoined Triangles of Success is a collaboration between three powerhouse breweries, as Los Angeles-based Monkish Brewing, San Francisco-based Cellarmaker Brewing and New York-based Other Half Brewing, have combined their ingenuity and brewing talents to produce three beers guaranteed to thrill fans of the hit HBO comedy and beer lovers alike. Conjoined Triangles of Success will be available at each of the regional brewery locations, with a taste and can unique to each brewery. Despite the differences in labels, collaboration is the sturdy “shared hypotenuse” of Conjoined Triangles of Success.

All three of the Conjoined Triangles of Success beers are Triple IPAs measuring in at 10.0% ABV and will be available in 16 oz cans. However, each of the participating breweries offers something wholly unique in terms of flavor profile.

Monkish Brewing Tasting Notes:
  • A Triple IPA brewed with rolled oats and dry hopped with Idaho 7, Citra, Galaxy, and Simcoe hops. Robust, soft, dank, tropical.
Cellarmaker Brewing Tasting Notes:
  • A DDH (Double Dry Hopped) Triple IPA brewed with rolled oats to create a viscous body and chewy mouthfeel. Hopped with Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand, Galaxy from Australia, Mosaic from Washington State and Idaho 7 hops. Notes of unripe pineapple, peach Haribos, sauvignon blanc grapes and freshly cut pine.
Other Half Brewing Tasting Notes:
  • A Triple IPA containing hops like Citra, Citra Cryo, Citra Incognito, Cashmere, Galaxy and Motueka. Notes of mango, tart pineapple juice, underripe guava, candied lime, big purple nose, fresh herbal pop.
The release of these Conjoined Triangles of Success beers will undoubtedly help Silicon Valley fans celebrate the finale of the hilarious comedy series and bookend the lineup of Season 6 beer releases. Earlier this year, HBO similarly partnered with Other Half Brewing for the release of Not Hot Dog, a Double IPA specially brewed to help kick off the Season 6 premiere.

Conjoined Triangles of Success is available for purchase at Monkish Brewing in Los Angeles, Cellarmaker Brewing in San Francisco and Other Half Brewing in New York, and Silicon Valley’s series finale will air on Sunday, December 8.

– Rolling Stone

Silicon Valley: The Complete Fifth Season

Coming to DVD September 4, 2018
Now Available for Digital Download
New York, N.Y., August 13, 2018 – Finally on the brink of success, Richard Hendricks (Thomas Middleditch) and the Pied Piper team return for the funniest season yet in HBO’s hit comedy Silicon Valley: The Complete Fifth Season, coming to DVD September 4, 2018. In a season which earned seven total 2018 Emmy® nominations, including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series, season five “is still capable of extracting gut-busting comedy” (Slant Magazine).

The return of executive producers Mike Judge (Beavis and Butt-Head) and Alec Berg’s (Barry, Curb Your Enthusiasm) tech-skewering comedy finds the Pied Piper guys emerging from the fourth season’s chaos, as they get closer than they’ve ever been to real fame and fortune. But with more money, inevitably, comes more problems. While Richard struggles to be a leader and play with the big dogs, the rest of the team adjusts to new faces, new digs and new anxieties. Always looming is Hooli rival Gavin Belson, who has returned to power but finds the threat of Pied Piper, and its boldness, hard to shake. Continuing to mine the over-the-top world of Silicon Valley for humor and poignancy, this season sees Pied Piper facing higher stakes, greater competition and even more opportunities to screw it all up.

Starring Thomas Middleditch (Joshy), Zach Woods (The Office), Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick), Martin Starr (Freaks and Geeks), Josh Brener (Maron), Amanda Crew (Table 19), Matt Ross (Big Love), Jimmy O. Yang (upcoming Crazy Rich Asians) and Suzanne Cryer (The Fosters), the Silicon Valley: The Complete Fifth Season DVD includes all eight, 30-minute episodes, with a Season 4 Recap.

HBO Renews Comedy Series "Barry" and "Silicon Valley"

HBO Renews Comedy Series "Barry" and "Silicon Valley"
"We're thrilled that these two smart, funny shows are returning for another season," said Amy Gravitt.
[via press release from HBO] HBO RENEWS COMEDY SERIES "BARRY" AND "SILICON VALLEY"

Following the recent season premieres of both shows, HBO has renewed the comedy series BARRY and SILICON VALLEY, it was announced today by Amy Gravitt, executive vice president, HBO Programming.

"While BARRY has delighted audiences with its deft interplay of comedy and drama, SILICON VALLEY remains as brilliantly and frighteningly prescient as ever," noted Gravitt. "We're thrilled that these two smart, funny shows are returning for another season."

Created by Alec Berg and Bill Hader, BARRY launched its eight-episode first season March 25. Hader stars in the title role as a depressed, low-rent hitman from the Midwest who finds himself drawn into a community of acting students while on a hit job in LA. He wants to start a new life, but his criminal past won't let him walk away. Can he find a way to balance the two worlds?
The current season of BARRY, which concludes May 13, was hailed by TV Guide as "wildly original and sensationally entertaining," while NPR termed it "the best new comedy on television"; the Washington Post described the series as "terrific" and Entertainment Weekly called Hader "phenomenal."

Season one credits: BARRY was created by Alec Berg & Bill Hader; executive produced by Alec Berg and Bill Hader; produced by Aida Rodgers; consulting producer, Liz Sarnoff; producer, Emily Heller.

A collaboration between Mike Judge and Alec Berg, the Emmy(R)-winning and Golden Globe-nominated SILICON VALLEY returned for its eight-episode fifth season March 25. The show takes a comic look at the modern-day epicenter of the high-tech gold rush, where the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success.

Among the critical raves for the current season, which concludes May 13, the Atlantic called the show "exciting" and "hilarious," while the A.V. Club said SILICON VALLEY has "one of the best comedic ensembles on television"; Slant Magazine hailed the show for "gut-busting comedy," and Vulture described the new season as "a very smartly designed software upgrade."

Season five credits: SILICON VALLEY was created by Mike Judge & John Altschuler & Dave Krinsky; executive producers, Mike Judge, Alec Berg, Clay Tarver, Michael Rotenberg, Tom Lassally, Jim Kleverweis, Jamie Babbit; co-executive producers, Anthony King, Graham Wagner and Ron Weiner; consulting producers, Carrie Kemper, Carson Mell, Jonathan Dotan, Todd Silverstein and Josh Lieb.

[via press release from HBO] HBO LAUNCHES "SILICON VALLEY: INSIDE THE HACKER HOSTEL" VIRTUAL REALITY ON HTC'S VIVEPORT, MARCH 25

With fans eagerly awaiting the premiere of Silicon Valley season five, HBO today announced Silicon Valley: Inside the Hacker Hostel, a virtual reality experience inspired by the Emmy(R)-winning comedy series from Mike Judge and Alec Berg. Starting Sunday, March 25, 2018, fans can download the VR expierence via Viveport, HTC Vive's global platform and app store. For updates on where to download the VR experience visit SiliconValleyVR.com. Season five of Silicon Valley premieres on Sunday, March 25th at 10:00 PM EST. The series is also available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and partners' streaming platforms.

Silicon Valley: Inside the Hacker Hostel will bring fans through the incubator where main characters Richard, Dinesh, Gilfoyle and Jared live and work in the hit HBO comedy series Silicon Valley. The captivating, interactive VR experience will provide one-on-one encounters with Richard (Thomas Middleditch), Dinesh (Kumail Nanjiani), Gilfoyle (Martin Starr), Big Head (Josh Brener) and Jian-Yang (Jimmy O. Yang). In addition, visitors can see how many times they get "always blue," demo the Not Hot Dog app (and snack on the test food), find a secret message from Jared, and help Richard out of a coding crisis.

Silicon Valley: Inside the Hacker Hostel was developed by immersive content studio REWIND in Unreal Engine 4, and is built to run on HTC Vive, the leading virtual reality (VR) platform. The real-time VR experience takes place inside an authentic recreation of the Hacker Hostel, a central part of the HBO show. REWIND used 3DS Max & Maya to faithfully recreate the Hacker Hostel environment from top-down blueprints of the actual set of the show and used photo reference to replicate the materials for all of the assets in Substance Designer and Substance Painter. REWIND also took HDR 360 captures of each of the rooms on set, to replicate the interior lighting as best as possible. There are over 750 interactive items within the experience, from a fully playable piano to a VR HMD. This phenomenal number was made possible using forward rendering; this technique improves the overall performance (frame rate) of the experience allowing REWIND to pack the experience with objects.

The Emmy(R)-winning and Golden Globe(R)-nominated Silicon Valley takes a comic look at the modern-day epicenter of the high-tech gold rush, where the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. A collaboration between Mike Judge and Alec Berg. Series regulars include Thomas Middleditch, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Josh Brener, Amanda Crew, Matt Ross, Jimmy O.
