MY 600-LB LIFE: WHERE ARE THEY NOW and SKIN TIGHT: WHERE ARE THEY NOW 5/17 on TLC

Tonight on TLC, check in with individuals as they continue their weight loss journeys on new episodes of MY 600-LB LIFE: WHERE ARE THEY NOW and SKIN TIGHT: WHERE ARE THEY NOW.

Plus, coming up next week after MY 600-LB LIFE, TLC will premiere the first hour of two-part special BIG & LITTLE at 10/9c, following two morbidly obese little people as they embark on a weight loss journey led by fitness guru and fellow little person, Allison Warrell.

My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now
Tonight at 8/7c, Charity's body was a shocking collection of mass when she weighed nearly 800 pounds.  She managed to start losing weight on Dr. Now's plan and underwent three surgeries, but all the while her daughter Charly developed a food addiction and started gaining.  Now Charly weighs more than her mother, and Charity fears her daughter may be on the same destructive weight gain path. Can Charity turn her daughter toward a healthier lifestyle while continuing her own struggle to lose weight and eventually get skin removal surgeries, or will their relationship fall apart?

We’ll also follow Milla, who once topped more than 750 pounds but has since lost significant weight and qualified for gastric surgery. But she's had a setback when her husband Elroy ends up in the hospital and she's left to take care of the kids alone. Anxiety and stress cause her to lose focus in her efforts to stand and start walking. Once again, she is confined to bed. Then, the family is shaken to it's core when Elroy suddenly passes away. Milla and the kids must try to rally together and do their best to move forward. Can Milla unite her grieving family and continue in her goals to walk again?

Skin Tight: Where Are They Now
Then at 10/9c, the stars from this season of Skin Tight begin the final leg of their weight-loss journey. Kylie, Brenda, Anna, Andrew, Mellisa and Holly were swamped by excess skin. We watched as they lost a collective 114 pounds of skin and now they must weather the trials and triumphs of extreme body transformation. Life-changing events, never before seen moments and brand new body reveals mark the final inspirational steps in each person's journey.

Skin Tight 5/10 on TLC

TLC’s SKIN TIGHT airs tomorrow night at 10/9c, after an all-new episode of MY 600-LB LIFE: WHERE ARE THEY NOW at 8/7c.

On another dramatic episode of SKIN TIGHT, Jessica and Melissa have been severely overweight their whole lives, from struggling as sisters growing up together all the way to their adult lives. Melissa found love which inspired her to lose weight, and Jessica followed in her footsteps. Instead of enjoying the fruits of their hard labor at the end of their weight-loss journey, they were both left with heaps of excess skin. Melissa's excess skin keeps her from being comfortable outside as her children play and makes her self-conscious about going on dates with her husband. Jessica's skin squanders her efforts to find a date herself, and instead she is forced to live at home with her mom. Both of them want to leave the remnants of their old lives behind, and they'll have each other as they try to push through their journey to have normal lives.

Then, after losing it all due to his weight, Matt decided he needed a change. At his heaviest of 625 lbs, he lost his wife, his job as a pastor and his health was rapidly deteriorating. After being turned down for gastric bypass surgery, he decided to lose the weight on his own, but the massive amounts of excess skin were a hurdle he hadn't foreseen. Now it's keeping him from achieving steady work, finding love, and everything else that his weight had originally kept him from. Will he have the strength to overcome one more challenge?

MY 600-LB LIFE: WHERE ARE THEY NOW & SKIN TIGHT 4/19 on TLC

Two new episodes of dramatic weight loss journeys, tomorrow night on TLC’s MY 600-LB LIFE: WHERE ARE THEY NOW and SKIN TIGHT.

My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now
At 8/7c, Brittani was housebound and ashamed of herself when she weighed 605 pounds, but with hard work and determination she lost over 300 lbs. Now she embarks on a goal to repair the debilitating effects of obesity on her body and must endure series of difficult skin surgeries. One of Dr. Now's success stories, Brittani's journey is a true inspiration for those afflicted by obesity and feeling like there's no hope for the future.

Weighing around 900 pounds, Sean's super obesity was a death sentence. But after going into Dr. Now's weight loss program and receiving a sleeve bypass operation, Sean lost over 300 pounds. Yet Sean's underlying issues persist, keeping him largely immobile. As further progress begins to stall, Dr. Now worries the culprit may be Sean's own mother, presenting an obstacle that Sean might not have the courage to overcome.

Then at 10/9c, we’ll follow Annette, whose siblings brought her bags of junk food when she was young to keep her occupied while they delved into drugs. Addictive behavior was a family norm, and by age nine Annette was habitually overeating. At 18, she weighed 500 pounds. Annette topped 650 at the time of her weight loss surgery. As the pounds came off, the stretched skin became excessive. It now drapes from her stomach, legs and arms - barring her from the active family life she dreams of.

Calisto was an active child growing up on her family farm, but contact with pesticides caused her to be bedridden for most of her teens. As a result of this illness, she gained a massive amount of weight. At 420 pounds, she was miserable and hopeless. The birth of her niece gave her the inspiration to seek out gastric bypass surgery, so that she could one day get married and have a family of her own. Unfortunately, the extreme weight loss left her body looking like a melted candle. Currently, she's living a lie, hiding the pounds of excess skin from her fiancé. He wants to get married soon, but she's put the wedding on hold until she can get rid of the skin. Surgery is the only way she can be free of her biggest burden and, ultimately, walk down the aisle.

My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now & Skin Tight 4/12 on TLC

Tomorrow night on TLC, the premiere of MY 600-LB LIFE: WHERE ARE THEY NOW at 8/7c and a new episode of SKIN TIGHT at 10/9c.
My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now
At 8/7c, after being stuck in bed for 10 years and finally losing weight, Lupe now claims that she's lost the strength to get out of bed. Dr. Now wonders if the struggle is all in her head, since Lupe is half the size she once was and is still struggling to continue losing weight in order to qualify for skin surgery. Her husband Gilbert has stayed by her side but their marriage is often a battleground. With all the continuous care-giving he must do, Gilbert is increasingly embittered. Will Lupe's tumultuous marriage persevere? Can she finally regain her health or will she revert to her old bedridden ways?
We also follow Ashley, who once weighed more than 700lbs but in a single year managed to shed nearly half that weight. Ashley is more mobile and independent than ever before and it's freed her young son, Patrick from the burden of being his mother's caretaker. However, Ashley is still struggling with neuropathy in her leg and a fragile emotional state that's starting to block her from further weight loss. With skin surgery as her main goal, she's derailed when psychosomatic symptoms have her believing she is paralyzed from the waist down. Before moving forward towards her skin surgery goals, she must face her demons and find the strength to push forward so she can live a better life.

Then at 10/9c, Sarah was a happy child until the ravages of drug addiction tore her family apart and left her alone and vulnerable.  Her difficult childhood caused her to gain weight excessively and use her obesity as a shield to protect herself from the world. Later in life, she met a man with wounds of his own, a former Marine with PTSD. They found understanding, love and hope in each other which prompted her to have gastric bypass surgery.  The weight came off quickly, but she was left with horrific amounts of excess skin that serve as a tangible reminder of her difficult past.  Sarah wants to get rid of the skin, close the door on the past and start working towards a degree as a trauma counselor.
Viewers will also meet Roger, who used to weigh so much he could only hold a job as a nightclub bouncer. Being around that crowd led him to a life of drugs which, at his weight, spun his life out of control. His life turned around when he found out he'd be a father, influencing him to atone for his life of crime and get a gastric sleeve to lose weight rapidly. But he quickly found out that as he lost weight, his body turned into a massive collection of skin. Now, the skin keeps him from getting a job to support his family, or from even enjoying his time with his two kids. If he doesn't get the skin removed, he'll never be able to be the father he hoped to become when he first turned his life around.

My 600-lb Life & Skin Tight 4/5 on TLC

Tomorrow on TLC, all-new episodes of MY 600-LB LIFE at 8/7c and SKIN TIGHT at 10/9c.

My 600-lb Life:
Tomorrow night at 8/7c, Steven has been unsuccessful on Dr. Nowzaradan's plan over the course of a year. On top of his food addiction, Steven has been abusing the hospital system in Houston in search of pain killers. Dr. Now decides he cannot work with Steven unless he takes proactive steps towards health and mental well-being. With this in mind, Steven attempts a detox program but only lasts a short time before slipping into his old habits. Meanwhile in Rhode Island, Justin has enjoyed having distance from his brother. He's feeling more support from his father who helps Justin open his own hobby store. He's even making some new friends along the way, including a new mother figure. But because Justin is focused on a new career, his diet falls by the wayside. With Steven's addictions spiraling out of control and Justin refusing to change his eating habits, both brothers risk losing the last chance they have to save their lives.

Then at 10/9c, Anna's Dominican family grew up eating lots of carbs, but her weight gain came from her reclusive lifestyle. She hadn't stepped on a scale for years until she went to college and finally realized she had ballooned to 320 pounds at 21 years old. After weight loss surgery, she had fallen down to 175 pounds, but quickly realized her skin was sagging heavily and it wasn't going away. She found she was just as uncomfortable to be in public as when she was at her heaviest, and she worries that the anxiety will affect her graduating from law school. She can't concentrate at school, her relationship with her sister is deteriorating, and she feels like her youth is wasting away behind closed doors. If she doesn't get the skin removed, she'll never be comfortable in life or achieve her dream of becoming a respectable lawyer.

Kylie was diagnosed with a slow metabolism as a child and did everything she could to try and keep the weight off. Sadly, nothing worked. By the time she was in high school, Kylie was well over 300 pounds and totally hopeless. She feared that life would pass her by, so as soon as she turned 18, she signed up for gastric bypass surgery. Her parents were skeptical, but reluctantly supported her.  Tragically, the surgery that was supposed to save her almost killed her. After a 16 month fight for her life, she lost the weight. But now she's covered in excess skin and feeling worse than ever.  She's in her early 20s and stops herself from living her life to the fullest because of how much she has to cover up. Kylie is willing to risk more surgeries to get the skin removed.  However, the thought of their daughter going under the knife again is terrifying for her parents.

Sneak Peek for tonight's My 600-lb Life and Skin Tight on TLC

Tomorrow night on TLC, prepare yourself for emotional stories on new episodes of MY 600-LB LIFE at 8/7c and SKIN TIGHT at 10/9.

At 8/7c on MY 600-LB LIFE we’ll follow James of Paducah, Kentucky, 46 years-old and 791 pounds, as he lies captive in the confines of his own bed. After his hard-drinking mother died when he was just a young teen, James sought comfort by constantly overeating. While he was always overweight, an ankle injury took James off his feet and on the road to super-morbid obesity. Now James suffers from an extreme case of cellulitis and he's unable to move his legs, much less stand on them or walk. Desperate to get his life back, James wants to qualify for weight loss surgery in Houston  but the logistics and finances seem impossible. Can James find a way out of the double-wide trailer that's been his prison for years and get on the road to Texas? And if he survives the trip, will he lose enough weight to get approved for surgery before his body finally gives up?

Then at 10/9c on SKIN TIGHT, we’ll follow Holly, 33 years-old from Cleveland, TN, who lost a total of 200-lbs. Holly’s weight fluctuated throughout her adolescence, and a rough home life caused her to leave home to get married at age 16. Very quickly Holly started having children of her own and regaining the weight. Her young husband soon left her and she gained even more weight. Holly hit a breaking point when she developed a cellulitis infection on her leg. After she almost lost her leg, she decided to have the gastric sleeve surgery to give herself a chance to lose the weight, for good. She has an amazing fiancé who is ready to get married, but Holly can’t stand the thought of her excess skin being forever a part of her special day.

We’ll also follow Mark, 42 years-old from Boise, ID, who lost a total of 262-lbs. Mark was a high school athlete, but after graduation, the heavy workouts stopped and he continued to eat as though he was burning the same amount of calories. The moments of euphoria that he once got from exercise were replaced by moments of disgust, and it was not long before Mark had a medical scare and found himself at 440-lbs.  Mark knew he needed to make a lifestyle change if he wanted to be there for his wife and three daughters, but now a blanket of skin covers his muscular physique. He worked hard to lose this weight to set an example for his daughters but he finds himself avoiding activities because of the loose skin., and he needs it removed to truly return to the body that made him so proud.

[via press release from TLC] TRAPPED IN THEIR OWN SKIN: TLC'S "SKIN TIGHT" RETURNS FOR A SECOND SEASON
- Season two premieres on Wednesday, March 1 at 10/9c on TLC -
(Silver Spring, MD) - Revealing the severe issues that arise towards the end of a drastic weight loss journey, TLC's SKIN TIGHT returns for a second season on Wednesday, March 1 at 10/9c, following new episodes of hit series MY 600-LB LIFE. Each of the ten one-hour episodes will document the compelling stories of two individuals who have lost massive amounts of weight - but are still ashamed of their bodies and feel trapped in their own skin. The participants will risk everything and entrust Dr. Younan Nowzaradan and other top doctors from across the country for the final step in their journey as they endure skin removal surgery in anticipation of their dramatic reveal at the end of every episode. Season two features 20 people who have lost a total of 4,962 pounds. Additionally, there will be three one-hour special episodes where we'll check in with some of the people from the series to see how their weight has held up since getting the surgery and how their life and perception of themselves has changed.

Skin removal surgeries are never taken lightly, often-times involving a host of complications and occasionally requiring multiple procedures. Ultimately, the results are shocking and leave these individuals not only with a new body, but a new life.

The season premiere will follow Andrew, 31, who went from 502-lbs to nearly 200-lbs. After the birth of his daughter and the end of a damaging romantic relationship, he found himself at a crossroads and decided he needed to make a change. With a commitment to diet and exercise, he was able to lose a lot of weight, but found that all the weight training he did wasn't helping eliminate the tremendous amount of excess skin. Andrew dreams of competing in a natural bodybuilding competition, but more than anything he wants to look and feel normal around his family.
We'll also follow Julie, 39, who went from 331-lbs to 153-lbs. Julie was overweight her whole life, but found herself morbidly obese after having four kids. She underwent gastric bypass surgery which jumpstarted her weight loss, but she is now hiding under pounds of excess skin, causing her to shy away from intimacy with her husband and not allowing her to fully bond with her children. She dreams of being a better mom and wife, but feels like it will never happen unless the skin is surgically removed.
