The Governor - Janet McTeer Covers the Box Front for this 2-DVD Set Coming to North America from RLJ/Acorn in early April

Earlier this month we reported that The Governor - The Complete Collection is coming to DVD on April 3rd from RLJ Entertainment's Acorn TV brand. At the time we didn't have the box cover art for this 2-disc set, but now the studio has sent out a picture of the package front. Take a peek:

From the creator of Prime Suspect, this gripping drama stars Oscar nominee Janet McTeer as Helen Hewitt, the first woman put in charge of Barfield, a maximum security prison nearly destroyed by a disastrous riot. Guest stars Oscar-nominee Sophie Okonedo (Hotel Rwanda), Eamonn Walker (Chicago Fire, Oz), and Idris Elba (Luther) in one of his first roles. RLJ Entertainment's Acorn TV brand has announced that on April 3rd they will release The Governor - The Complete Collection, starring Janet McTeer. The program, created by Lynda La Plante, ran for two series (seasons) and 12 episodes, from 1995 to 1996. Acorn's release will cost $59.99 SRP. The detail and package art haven't been finalized yet, but stay tuned! In the meantime, you can pre-order this title from Amazon.com right away.
