‘LEGO® JURASSIC WORLD: THE SECRET EXHIBIT’ ON NOV. 29 on NBC

News

NBC, UNIVERSAL BRAND DEVELOPMENT AND LEGO UNLEASH TWO-PART ‘LEGO® JURASSIC WORLD: THE SECRET EXHIBIT’ ON NOV. 29

All-New Animated Special Inspired By the Blockbuster “Jurassic World” Franchise and Leading Toy Brand, LEGO, to Debut Exclusively on NBC

NEW YORK — Nov. 8, 2018 — NBC has partnered with Universal Brand Development and the LEGO Group for the upcoming debut of a two-part animated special: “LEGO® Jurassic World: The Secret Exhibit.” The all-new animated special – inspired by the blockbuster Jurassic World franchise – will air Nov. 29 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

The story takes place before the adventures of Jurassic World in 2015. In the special, Simon Masrani has an idea for a new attraction that is guaranteed to keep Jurassic World at the forefront of theme park entertainment. It’s the greatest thing since the discovery of dinosaurs, but in order for it to succeed, he needs his right-hand can-do problem solver, Claire Dearing, to get a trio of dinosaurs across the park to the new, super-secret exhibit. Reluctantly teaming up with newcomer Owen Grady, the animal behaviorist she hired sight unseen to deliver the dinosaurs, the duo set out on a fun-filled adventure across the island. Unfortunately, delivering the dinosaurs to the new attraction is not as easy as they thought.
The two-part special will be available to stream the morning after the NBC broadcast, Nov. 30, across multiple platforms, including the NBC app and NBC.com, where it can be viewed without a login, as well on Hulu and On Demand. It will also be available for download from major digital retailers. The DVD, with exclusive bonus content, drops Jan. 15, 2019.

ABOUT LEGO JURASSIC WORLD: THE SECRET EXHIBIT

With the grand opening of Jurassic World’s new super-secret dinosaur exhibit just days away, only one thing is missing … the dinosaurs! In order to get the job done, Simon Masrani enlists his newly hired assistant, Claire Dearing, to ensure the new attraction opens on time ... or else. Unfortunately, Owen Grady, the animal behaviorist Claire hired to deliver the dinosaurs, is late. Things aren’t looking too good for Claire or Owen, who just wants to deliver the dinosaurs, collect his paycheck and get off the island.

But the mission to deliver the dinosaurs turns out to be far more difficult than anyone could have imagined. From a runaway Gyrosphere, hang-gliding with a Pteranodon (how did they get out of the Aviary?!), to a high-speed game of chicken with a T-Rex, Owen will earn his paycheck and then some. And Claire may just get promoted to Assistant Manager of Park Operations. Along the way, we get the first inklings of why Owen and Claire drive each other crazy, but despite their differences, they succeed and make a great team. Oh, and Owen meets Blue for the first time as he discovers he has a way with dinosaurs he never knew about!

The Last 100 Days of Diana on ABC 5/7

A New Primetime Special Reexamines Princes Diana's Final 100 Days Leading Up to Her Untimely Death -- A Tulmultuous Summer of Romance and Untimely Tragedy

A NEW PRIMETIME SPECIAL REEXAMINES PRINCESS DIANA’S FINAL 100 DAYS LEADING UP TO HER UNTIMELY DEATH – A TUMULTUOUS SUMMER OF ROMANCE AND ULTIMATELY TRAGEDY

‘The Last 100 Days of Diana,’ Hosted by Martin Bashir, Airs Sunday, May 7

In a primetime special, “The Last 100 Days of Diana,” ABC News retraces the events of Princess Diana’s first and last tumultuous summer as a single woman, divorced from Prince Charles, caught between romantic affairs until the moment of her tragic and untimely death in a car accident in Paris. The two-hour broadcast is hosted by former ABC News “Nightline” co-anchor Martin Bashir and premieres SUNDAY, MAY 7 (9:00 – 11:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.

In 1996 Bashir won a prestigious BAFTA Award for the only extended interview with the princess of Wales. It was a deeply revealing conversation about her personal struggles. Now he hears new accounts from people inside Diana’s inner circle. Rare interviews with close friends and her personal staff, including her former butler, chef, bodyguard, press secretary and personal trainer, expose what the Princess was thinking as she navigated between new relationships, romance, the press and the public eye. “The Last 100 Days of Diana” chronicles a romantic summer adventure with Dodi al-Fayed and her tender relationship with British Pakistani surgeon Hasnat Khan, and celebrates the emergence of a “new” Diana determined to chart her own path.

“Those who knew her best told us that it was no fluke Diana became the most glamorous woman in the world. She had exceptional intuition, street smarts and a charisma that no one could resist,” says executive producer Terence Wrong.

“The Last 100 Days of Diana” is the first project from Lincoln Square Productions’ U.K. office, led by Sheldon Lazarus. “Producing this poignant tribute to the world’s most famous woman 20 years after her tragic and untimely death has shown yet again what an incredible person we lost,” adds Lazarus. “Through testimonies of those nearest to her, this special showcases the everlasting impact Princess Diana has around the world.”

“The Last 100 Days of Diana” is produced by ABC News’ Lincoln Square Productions and distributed internationally by Disney Media Distribution. Terence Wrong and Sheldon Lazarus are executive producers and Rudy Bednar is director for Lincoln Square Productions.
