DR. SAY YES TO THE DRESS AMERICA – Premieres Saturday, January 4 at 8pm ET/PT

The Sister Wives have just moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, where they find that the ups and downs of their family’s polygamist lifestyle are as dramatic as they’ve ever been. Angry neighbors drive one wife out of her rental house and the cost of the many properties the family needs for Kody’s four wives and many kids are threatening a financial disaster. In hopes of reducing this burden, Kody makes plans for the whole family to build one giant house, but the wives are not so sure.  And an argument erupts when the Browns try to divide up their new property. Tensions with first wife, Meri, are still unresolved and she goes back into therapy with Kody to try to fix their relationship. Of course, there’s much to celebrate as well. After nervously awaiting her college admissions letters, Jazz must make a difficult decision between attending the elite Harvard University or faraway Pomona College; plus, as the valedictorian of her class and with graduation fast approaching, she is confronted with the pressure of writing a highly anticipated speech. (New York, NY) – TLC today announced that it has renewed its hit series I AM JAZZ for a sixth season, slated to air in 2020. The groundbreaking series recently wrapped an emotional fifth season with its highest ratings to date among key W25-54/18-49 demos and averaged 1.4M total viewers, its second highest delivery in series history.

(New York, NY) – Transgender teen advocate Jazz Jennings opens up about her most intimate journey yet in the fifth season of TLC’s groundbreaking series I AM JAZZ, which returns on Tuesday, January 1 in a special timeslot at 10/9c. The show will move to its normal timeslot beginning Tuesday, January 22 at 9/8c.

Twelve years ago, at the age of five, Jazz started her transition to becoming the girl that she has always been, and she dreamed that one day her inner and outer self would be in alignment. This season, that dream becomes a reality and viewers are there every step of the way as Jazz prepares for and experiences the biggest, most personal event of her life – gender confirmation surgery. Throughout the season, fans witness other major milestones, including Jazz attending her first prom and celebrating her 18th birthday, while continuing to navigate life’s ups and downs alongside her close-knit and supportive family.

When she’s not filming, Jazz devotes much of her time advocating for LGBTQ rights, sharing her story with people across the country in an effort to educate and inspire others. She has accumulated many prestigious awards and honors throughout her lifetime, including TIME Magazine's Most Influential Teens (2014 and 2015), The Advocate magazine’s “Top Forty Under 40” annual list, OUT Magazine’s Top 100 list, Teen Vogue’s “21 under 21” list, HRC's Upstander Award for 2017 and the 2015 Trevor Youth Courage Award to name a few.

In 2016, “I Am Jazz” won a GLAAD Award for Outstanding Reality Program and Jazz served as the 2016 Grand Marshal in the New York City Pride March, making her the youngest person to serve as Grand Marshal in the history of the march. Along with Jessica Herthel, Jazz co-wrote the children’s picture book “I Am Jazz” and she authored her memoir, “Being Jazz: My Life as a (Transgender) Teen.” Jazz and her parents also founded the Transkids Purple Rainbow Foundation, a nonprofit devoted to support transgender youth and their families.

(LOS ANGELES, CA) - TLC's trailblazing series, I AM JAZZ returns for a fourth season on Tuesday January 2nd, 2018 at 10/9c. The show then moves to 9/8c beginning January 23rd. The series continues to chronicle the journey of transgender teen Jazz Jennings as she faces the typical struggles of a junior in high school including issues with dating, body image and social anxiety. She also faces the unique and unexpected challenge of having to lose 30 pounds in order to move forward with her gender confirmation surgery.

After choosing the ideal surgeon, Jazz learns that she may not be able to get the standard confirmation surgery she was previously promised. This new development sets in motion a series of obstacles that might prove to be the most difficult Jazz has ever experienced. Jazz will need to rely on her friends and family more than ever through this most challenging of times.
In addition to being a full-time student, Jazz devotes her time to being a transgender advocate, sharing her story with people across the country in an effort to educate and inspire others. She was named one of "The 25 Most Influential Teens " in 2014 and 2015 by Time. In 2014, Jazz co-wrote with Jessica Herthel a children's picture book, "I am Jazz". Jazz's memoir, "Being Jazz: My Life as a (Transgender) Teen was released in June of 2016. In April of 2016, I AM JAZZ was awarded the GLAAD Media Award for "Outstanding Reality Program." In August of 2016 she was named one of Teen Vogue's "21 under 21." Jazz and her parents founded the Transkids Purple Rainbow Foundation, a nonprofit devoted to support transgender youth and their families.

I Am Jazz 7/26 on TLC

Tonight's episode of I AM JAZZ airs at 9/8c on TLC.

Jazz Jennings personal statement: "Trans people embody courage & bravery. They stand in their truth & fight every day. Soldiers deserve respect for their service, not this."

In this clip, a former armed services member discusses her struggles. In tonight’s episode, Jazz and her family attend the most recent Transgender Day of Remembrance. They honor those who were met their death due to anti-transgender hatred.  


Also in the episode, Jazz helps her transgender friend Lynn who is bullied by her own mother. Jeanette struggles with the upcoming medical decisions Jazz is facing and decides to go to a support group. Jazz hopes for a call from the boy she met at Dating in the Dark.

Los Angeles, CA - TLC's I AM JAZZ was nominated today for a second consecutive GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Reality Program. The series was nominated and won last year in a rare tie. I AM JAZZ follows the life of 16-year-old Jazz as she balances school, sports, family and more - documenting her triumphs and struggles from the perspective of a transgender teen.
