MICHAEL STUHLBARG JOINS SHOWTIME LIMITED SERIES 'YOUR HONOR'

Sofia Black-D’Elia Also Cast In Series Starring Emmy^® Award Winner Bryan Cranston

LOS ANGELES – August 2, 2019 – Screen Actors Guild Award^® winner Michael Stuhlbarg (Call Me by Your Name) and Sofia Black-D’Elia (The Night Of) have signed on to star in the highly anticipated SHOWTIME limited series, YOUR HONOR, starring Oscar^® nominee and Emmy and Tony^® winner Bryan Cranston. Stuhlbarg will play Tommy, the much-feared head of a crime family. The announcement was made today by Gary Levine and Jana Winograde, Presidents of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc., at the Television Critics Association’s Summer Press Tour.

 The 10-episode series is a legal thriller that rips through all strata of New Orleans society. Cranston stars as a respected judge whose son Adam (Hunter Doohan) is involved in a hit-and-run that leads to a high-stakes game of lies, deceit and impossible choices. Black-D’Elia will portray Frannie, Adam’s girlfriend. YOUR HONOR is executive produced by Emmy nominees Robert and Michelle King (The Good Fight, The Good Wife, Evil) and Liz Glotzer (Evil, The Good Fight). BAFTA winner Peter Moffat – whose Criminal Justice was the basis for The Night Of – serves as showrunner and executive producer and has written multiple episodes, including the first episode. Emmy nominated writer/director Edward Berger (PATRICK MELROSE) is directing the first three episodes and executive producing. YOUR HONOR will go into production this fall.

Stuhlbarg has appeared in critically acclaimed roles in Call Me By Your Name, as well as the multiple Oscar-winning romantic dark fantasy The Shape of Water. He was nominated for a Golden Globe^® Award for his work in A Serious Man. His additional film credits include Trumbo, Steve Jobs and Lincoln. On television, he starred in Traitors, The Looming Tower, Fargo and Boardwalk Empire.

Black-D’Elia played opposite Riz Ahmed and John Turturro in the miniseries The Night Of. She recently made her New York stage debut in the world premiere of Ming Peiffer’s Usual Girls at the Roundabout Theatre Company. She has appeared in a wide range of series, including The Mick, Invisible, Skins and Gossip Girl.

YOUR HONOR, produced by CBS Television Studios in association with King Size Productions, is being adapted from the Israeli series Kvodo, created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach.  Alon Aranya (Hostages, Betrayal) and Rob Golenberg (Betrayal) of Scripted World and James Degus of Moonshot Entertainment also serve as executive producers.

The German-born Berger earned award recognition, including a Best Directing Emmy nomination, BAFTA Best Mini-Series win and acclaim for directing all five episodes of the SHOWTIME limited series PATRICK MELROSE, starring Benedict Cumberbatch in his Emmy nominated and BAFTA Award winning role. Berger's eight-part television series Deutschland '83 premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival and earned rave reviews during its run on Sundance TV, making it the first-ever German series to be released in the U.S. The series won the International Emmy and the Peabody Award. He directed the pilot and several episodes of the series The Terror and also earned award recognition for his work on the feature film Jack, which earned the German Academy Award Best Picture and also won Best Picture and Best Director at the German Director's Guild Awards. His additional film credits include Gomez and A Good Summer, for which he earned the prestigious German Grimme Award. He is set to direct Cumberbatch in the upcoming mystery thriller Rio, also starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Michelle Williams.

LOS ANGELES - January 31, 2019 - Oscar nominee and Emmy, Golden Globe(R), Screen Actors Guild(R) and Tony(R) Award winner Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) has signed on to star and executive produce the new SHOWTIME limited series YOUR HONOR. The series is a legal thriller that rips through all strata of New Orleans society. Cranston will star as a respected judge whose son is involved in a hit-and-run that leads to a high-stakes game of lies, deceit and impossible choices. The 10-episode limited series will be executive produced by Emmy nominees Robert and Michelle King (The Good Fight, The Good Wife). Peter Moffat - whose Criminal Justice served as the basis for The Night Of - serves as showrunner, executive producer and will write multiple episodes, including the first episode. YOUR HONOR will go into production later this year in New Orleans. In addition to four Emmys, a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild award recognition for Breaking Bad, Cranston has also earned Academy Award(R) and BAFTA nominations as lead actor for Trumbo. He received a Screen Actors Guild Award and Emmy and Golden Globe nominations as actor in a limited series for All the Way - itself adapted from the Broadway production that gave Cranston a Tony Award. In 2018, Cranston won the Lawrence Olivier Award for his stage performance in Network in London, whose current run on Broadway has been extended into April.
Earlier in his career, Cranston received three Emmy nominations as best supporting actor in a comedy series and a Golden Globe nomination for his performance in Malcolm in the Middle. His numerous other credits include Sneaky Pete (which he co-created and executive produced) and Argo, as well as an Emmy-nominated guest performance on Curb Your Enthusiasm, and prominent guest appearances on such series as Seinfeld. Cranston also has three Directors Guild nominations, including the rare feat of nominations in the same year for directing a drama (Breaking Bad) and a comedy (Modern Family). He shared in three Producers Guild awards with the team from Breaking Bad.

YOUR HONOR is a legal thriller that rips through all strata of Chicago society. The project follows the son of a respected judge who is involved in a hit and run. Soon after they are both drawn into a high-stakes game of lies, deceit and impossible choices when it comes to light that the victim was the son of a notorious crime boss.

The series, produced by CBS Television Studios in association with King Size Productions, is being adapted from the Israeli series Kvodo, created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach, produced by Ram Landes and airing on the country's Yes TV.

Robert and Michelle King have been nominated for four Emmy Awards for The Good Wife, for which they also won Peabody and WGA honors. Moffat is a two-time BAFTA award winner for Criminal Justice and was nominated for a WGA Award for its adaptation into The Night Of, for which he served as an executive producer.
