BAFTA(R) Winner Peter Moffat To Write And Executive Produce Drama Series
LOS ANGELES - October 19, 2017 - SHOWTIME has made a series commitment to YOUR HONOR, which will be executive produced and written by BAFTA winner Peter Moffat - whose Criminal Justice served as the basis for The Night Of - and executive produced by Emmy Award nominees Robert and Michelle King (The Good Wife). Liz Glotzer (The Good Fight, BrainDead, The Shawshank Redemption), Alon Aranya and Rob Golenberg (Hostages, Betrayal) of Scripted World will also serve as executive producers. The announcement was made today by Gary Levine, President of Programming, Showtime Networks Inc.

YOUR HONOR is a legal thriller that rips through all strata of Chicago society. The project follows the son of a respected judge who is involved in a hit and run. Soon after they are both drawn into a high-stakes game of lies, deceit and impossible choices when it comes to light that the victim was the son of a notorious crime boss.

The series, produced by CBS Television Studios in association with King Size Productions, is being adapted from the Israeli series Kvodo, created by Ron Ninio and Shlomo Mashiach, produced by Ram Landes and airing on the country's Yes TV.

"When a pitch has you on the edge of your seat for 40 straight minutes, you know you're hearing something special," said Levine. "When the pitchers are as talented, experienced and acclaimed as Michelle King, Robert King and Peter Moffat, you buy it in the room and start planning for a fascinating new SHOWTIME series."

"Peter Moffat's extraordinary talent with complex characters, suspenseful plotting and moral shading make him the perfect writer for YOUR HONOR," said Robert and Michelle King. "His pitch held the room hostage, and we can't wait to watch him bring this mesmerizing, complicated story to life."
Robert and Michelle King have been nominated for four Emmy Awards for The Good Wife, for which they also won Peabody and WGA honors. Their other series include The Good Fight, BrainDead and In Justice. Moffat is a two-time BAFTA award winner for Criminal Justice and was nominated for a WGA Award for its adaptation into The Night Of, for which he served as an executive producer.

King Size Productions is the production entity formed by Robert and Michelle King and run by Liz Glotzer. This is the fourth series for the company, which is actively expanding.
