TV ONE’S TRUE CRIME MONDAYS CONTINUES IN APRIL
WITH NEW EPISODES OF JUSTICE BY ANY MEANS 
AND FOR MY WOMAN

SILVER SPRING, MD. - March 30, 2017 - TV One’s True Crime programming block continues in April with an action-packed block of new episodes of the network’s hit crime and justice shows Justice By Any Means and For My Woman on Monday nights.

Beginning at 9 p.m. ET, Malik Yoba hosts the one-hour re-enactment crime and justice series, Justice By Any Means, which tells the untold stories of family members, friends and good Samaritans whose relentless pursuit of justice resulted in retribution for crimes committed on the victims the law forgot.

Immediately following at 10 p.m. ET, For My Woman features the outrageous and shocking stories of men who have been arrested for a crime they did in the name of loyalty and love for their woman.

An overview of the TV One True Crime Monday line-up is listed below:

MONDAY, APRIL 3

Justice By Any Means (Episode 210): Wanda Johnson (Oscar Grant)
Premiere: Monday, April 3 at 9 p.m. ET      
Wanda Johnson had a strong bond with her son, Oscar Grant. She had watched him grow from a rebellious youth to a supportive father, fiance, and son. So when she learned that Grant had been shot by a police officer, she had an immediate hunch that something was amiss. That hunch was the beginning of countless hours in court covered thousands of news outlets who latched onto Grant’s story. The shooting had been filmed and witnessed by dozens of people, but still the story remained unclear to authorities. Americans protested police brutality, racial discrimination, and violence, but, at the end of the day, Wanda Johnson was fighting for her son. She wanted Grant’s innocence to be upheld and for the guilty parties to receive justice.

For My Woman (Episode 103): 
Premiere: Monday, April 3 at 10 p.m. ET    
16-year old Tampa heartthrob Rocky Almestica Jr. aims to leave his delinquent past behind when he finds himself enrolled in an alternative school for troubled youth. But soon he becomes preoccupied with the opposite sex, and ends up in the middle of a love triangle that binds him between two ladies who are both willing to fight for his affection…and Almestica will go to deadly lengths to prove his loyalty.

Then, in Brockton, Massachusetts, father of two Jamaal Haith is grateful to be given a second chance after his uncontrollable temper gets him sent to prison. But when his leading lady uses his greatest weakness to manipulate him, he risks everything to become the front man in a deadly scheme.

MONDAY, APRIL 10

Justice By Any Means (Episode 211): Sabrina Harris
Premiere: Monday, April 10 at 9 p.m. ET    
At the age of 11-years-old, Ryan Harris was a good student, faithful daughter, and a fun-loving girl. One hot afternoon in July 1998, Harris’ mother, Sabrina, began to panic when Harris didn’t come home when she said she would. After Sabrina called 911, it didn’t take long to find her daughter’s mutilated body in the neighborhood notorious for sexual assaults. The following media coverage confused and disgusted every-one who watched. Grief-stricken Sabrina was at the mercy of investigators and detectives who presented her with possible suspects, including damning accusations against a seven- and an eight-year-old boy. In the end, the guilty party was a name synonymous with crime and a shocking surprise to the rest of the world.

For My Woman (Episode 104): 
Premiere: Monday, April 10 at 10 p.m. ET 
Growing up in Odenton, Maryland, Darrell “Speedy” Butler has always been a fast friend to anyone in need.  The charismatic bachelor never shies away from a good time, so when he meets wild-child Kelly Bradshaw at a local house party, he’s instantly attracted to her fun, laid-back lifestyle.  However, when he finds out his leading lady is already attached to an abusive husband, he’ll go to the ends of the earth to be her knight in shining armor.  

And in Austell, Ga., semi-pro boxer Reginald Coleman lives and breathes life in the squared circle.  His love of the sport even lands him the keys to his own training facility.  It’s there he meets Lynitra Ross, a saucy single who knocks him off his feet.  But as the two become close, Ross asks him to do the unthinkable for someone he’s never met – forcing Coleman to lace up the gloves, and go toe-to-toe with evil.

MONDAY, APRIL 17

Justice By Any Means (Episode 212): Bridgett Tabb
Premiere: Monday, April 17 at 9 p.m. ET    
Bridgett Tabb was tired and didn’t want a night out when Natasha and Vernithea asked her to go to dinner. She told them to go ahead, that she would watch their kids and give them a night to celebrate Natasha’s birthday. What Tabb didn’t know was when she watched them walk out the door, she was seeing them for the last time. Natasha and Vernithea’s bodies were found the next day in the trunk of a car that had been set on fire. The motives for such a heinous crime were unclear to family, friends, and authorities. As the investigation ensued, Tabb learned that Natasha and Vernithea had some other relationships that they perceived as friendships when they were, in fact, the deadliest people they could’ve befriended. 

For My Woman (Episode 105): 
Premiere: Monday, April 17 at 10 p.m. ET  
Tim Collier has dreams of being a better man when he moves to West Bloomfield, Mich., where he meets the love of his life, Carol Giles. But Collier quickly learns his love has a dark past she’s trying to escape. He is desperate to give his woman the life she deserves, but the slip of a dangerous secret gets under his skin. Collier’s demons rise to the surface and there’s no telling what he’ll do to keep the truth at bay.
                                                                                                   
Jeff Dulcio can’t believe his luck when he meets the most powerful Madame in Atlanta, Ga., Kisha Rutledge. Respect quickly turns to loyalty after she offers him a job protecting her company. When a client tries to cut Rutledge out of the equation, her empire is put in jeopardy and nobody is safe as Dulcio is called to task.  The only way he’s losing this battle is if he’s taken out in a body bag.

MONDAY, APRIL 24

Justice By Any Means (Episode 213): Delores Nettles
Premiere: Monday, April 24 at 9 p.m. ET   
Islan Nettles always knew she was different. Born the only son in a family of all girls, an early interest in fashion quickly transpired into revealing his desire to undergo the full transgender process. Delores Nettles, Islan’s devoted mother, was a fighter: she fought for Islan’s decisions to become a woman, and she fought for Islan’s fashion career aspirations. But, when Islan was rushed to the hospital after having been attacked on a street in Harlem, New York, Delores had to fight for the identities of the attackers to be revealed. When suspects were finally unveiled, the details of their crime were brutal, their motives created a media frenzy, and Delores became the voice of her daughter.

For My Woman (Episode 106):  Season Finale
Premiere: Monday, April 24 at 10 p.m. ET 
Growing up in two households, Robert Crosby learned quickly that love was hard to hold on to. So when he meets married and vulnerable Kimberly Thompkins at a local burger joint, he is more than willing to be her shoulder to lean on. And when she reveals accusations of an abusive husband, Crosby is dedicated to doing right by his woman. Leading with his heart and not his head, Crosby finds himself caught up in the deadliest of love affairs.

Later, living life with a hearing impairment, Daphne Wright never felt like she belonged. So when she meets a woman who opens her eyes to love, Wright is committed to making sure no one stands in her way. But when her leading lady starts a friendship that threatens her relationship, a jealous Wright will do the unthinkable to eliminate the competition.

TV ONE’S TRUE CRIME MONDAYS CONTINUES IN FEBRUARY WITH NEW FATAL ATTRACTION AND FOR MY MAN  EPISODES

SILVER SPRING, MD. - Jan. 27, 2017 - TV One’s True Crime programming block continues in February with new episodes of the network’s hit crime and justice series Fatal Attraction and For My Man every Monday night.  

Beginning at 9 p.m. ET, Fatal Attraction delves into real-life stories of criminal acts committed under the guise of love and the tragic consequences that turn deadly. Recounting stories of love-gone-wrong, each episode consists of first-person interviews from loved ones, accounts from investigating officials, interrogation footage, recreations of pivotal moments and haunting cinematography.

Immediately following at 10 p.m. ET, For My Man is jam-packed with new incredible stories of the lengths some women will go to keep the love of their man. Shedding light on the outrageous and shocking stories of women who have been arrested for a crime they committed in the name of love, each episode includes interviews of those closest to the events – family members, friends, witnesses, investigators and journalists – as well as psychologists, lawyers and when possible, the subjects themselves.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6

Fatal Attraction (Episode 607): Jacklyn Miller (Memphis, TN)
Premiere: Monday, Feb. 6 at 9 p.m. ET       
Jacklyn Miller was studying to be a beautician, where she met a fellow student, Richard Dickerson. But in the Fall of 2010, Miller goes missing. A week later, police find her body in the trunk of her abandoned car. The investigation leads police back to Dickerson, after finding Miller took out a series of restraining orders against him. Soon, a major break in the case comes as Dickerson's friends confess to authorities that Dickerson admitted to his friends he strangled Miller during a heated argument. He is found guilty of second-degree murder and sentenced to 25 years.

For My Man (Episode 306):  Kajul Harvey / Adrianne Green
Premiere: Monday, Feb. 6 at 10 p.m. ET     
Kajul Harvey has found a father figure for her children in new boyfriend Latoris, but his short temper and rough demeanor create a divide with Harvey’s mother.  When their feud comes to a head, and Latoris turns violent, Harvey is caught in the middle. 

Later, Adrianne Green’s online boyfriend talks a big game, but when he shows up in person and the fantasy becomes reality, she gets more than she can handle.  Their brief relationship brings Green into a life of crime and sends a loved one to the morgue.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13

Fatal Attraction (Ep. 608): Carisa Ellison/Irene Ellison/Brian Wilson (Shreveport, LA)
Premiere: Monday, Feb. 13 at 9 p.m. ET     
After a painful breakup with her longtime boyfriend Tommy Wilson, Carisa Ellison moved on with her life. She soon met a new beau, named Brian Wilson, who made her forget about tough split with Tommy. But one night, Carisa, Brian, and Carisa's mother, Irene, were all found stabbed to death in Carisa's home. Investigators soon learn Tommy hadn't let go of the relationship like Carisa had, and continued to stalk her and her new boyfriend. DNA evidence confirms their suspicions, and they arrest Tommy Wilson for the crime. He is convicted of three counts of first-degree murder and is sent to prison for life.

For My Man (Episode 307):  Alesia Warrior / Patricia Jernigan
Premiere: Monday, Feb. 13 at 10 p.m. ET   
Feeling trapped in a loveless marriage, Kansas City resident Alesia Warrior starts an affair with an ex-con named Darrell Rodgers. But her constant sneaking around becomes too noticeable for Warrior’s husband to ignore. Facing the loss of her meal ticket, she and her criminal lover concoct a plan to be together forever, but no one will be walking away freely after their greedy deeds are brought to light.

And in Dearborn, Mich., new mom Patricia Jernigan gets the help she needs to raise her infant son from her religious parents and her loyal best friend. When a church-going man shows an interest in her, Jernigan is unable to resist the prospect of a father figure in her child’s life. But evil also hides in the house of the Lord, and when her man reveals his sadistic fantasy, Jernigan has no choice but to pray for divine intervention.

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 20

Fatal Attraction (Episode 609): Terence George and Tiffany Durst (Aurora, CO)
Premiere: Monday, Feb. 20 at 9 p.m. ET    
After years of failed relationships, Terence George and Tiffany Durst believed they had both found the person they've been looking for. But their storybook romance comes to an abrupt end in November 2010, when Terence's body is found dead inside his apartment, and Durst is nowhere to be found. Then in April, police find Durst's body.

DNA evidence leads them to two repeat offenders, Janelle Harris and Tiera Holmes, but something is missing in the investigation. Finally, police track down the ringleader of the murders, Terrance McNeal, a former boyfriend of Durst, who was recently released from jail on a robbery charge. McNeal believes Durst snitched on him about the robbery, and was out for revenge. A jury finds McNeal and Harris guilty of first-degree murder and they are sentenced to life in prison. Holmes took a plea deal, and was sent away for 32 years.

For My Man (Episode 308):  Marcus Roland / Katila Nash
Premiere: Monday, Feb. 20 at 10 p.m. ET  
Katila Nash never had a stable childhood. She relied on her street smarts to get her through life. But when her new boyfriend comes up with a scheme for quick cash – robbing empty houses – her skills are pushed to the limits when they find one of their targets unexpectedly occupied. 

Later, Marcus Roland has always had trouble fitting into his own skin, but when he meets kindred spirit Kaleb Sanders, their relationship takes a dramatic turn, starting with a police chase, and ending in an armed robbery a thousand miles away. 

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27

Fatal Attraction (Episode 610): Precious Jackson (Portland, OR)
Premiere: Monday, Feb. 20 at 9 p.m. ET    
Precious Jackson was on the re-bound after breaking up with her longtime girlfriend when she met Ceaira Barr. The two instantly fell in love. But tragedy strikes the couple, when Jackson is shot to death outside of her apartment. Four suspects are caught on surveillance video, but their faces are masked. Investigators question Antonio Sanders, a man who was seen near the shooting, and eventually catch on that he was likely the gunman. Upon further digging, detectives realize Sanders is a close friend of Barr's ex-boyfriend, Corey Hill. Hill and Barr have son together. Through DNA evidence, investigators are able to place Hill at the crime scene with Sanders. That's when they discover Hill, jealous that Barr had left him, had been threatening Jackson. Sanders and Hill are both arrested. Both men plead guilty to 1st degree manslaughter. Hill is sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Sanders is given 18.

For My Man (Episode 309):  LaCarla McCarty / Akeita Harden
Premiere: Monday, Feb. 20 at 10 p.m. ET  
When Grand Rapids resident LaCarla McCarty falls for married playboy Andrew Neal, she’s immediately under the shady ex-con’s spell. When the couple falls on hard financial times, the love struck woman turns a blind eye to his deadly scheme for quick cash. It’s not long before she is knee-deep in a murder plot that threatens to change her life forever.

Looking for a more lavish lifestyle in Pennsylvania, Akeita Harden starts a whirlwind romance with an out-of-town drug dealer, Eddie Williams. When their business partner gives them less product to move; their cash flow all but stops. Not wanting to get cut out of the business, the sinister pair devises a plot to rob their supplier and take what’s theirs. But after things go sideways, they find themselves in a high speed chase with the police.
