“Pushing Buttons” – Holmes and Watson enter the world of rare antiquities when they investigate a case in which victim was killed during a Revolutionary War reenactment. Also, as Holmes grows frustrated with the length of his cognitive recovery, he finds solace in his growing friendship with Michael (Desmond Harrington), on ELEMENTARY, Monday, May 14 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

Sherlock - A New Image of Next Week's 'The Complete Series' on DVD, Blu-ray All four separate seasons, plus the 2016 New Year's Day special, compiled in a new slipcase

As we've told you since a month ago, the BBC's upcoming Sherlock release a week from today - on October 31st, Halloween day - is titled "The Complete Series." It will be on both DVD and Blu-ray Disc, and in our last report we showed you a "flat" 2D image of the cover for the slipcase. Now we've got an "exploded" look (or a "beauty shot," if you will) of the packaging, in 3D, demonstrating that this release is the individual season sets, and the separate release for The Abominable Bride, all slid into a new outer case. This image is for the DVD version, but the Blu-ray edition is the same:

Two months ago we had the heads-up that BBC Home Entertainment was releasing a Sherlock package that Amazon.com had labeled the "Seasons 1-4 & Abominable Bride Gift Set." And at the time, we only located info about a DVD version of the item. Since then, Amazon has added a pre-order listing for a Blu-ray Disc version of this gift set, too. What's more, Amazon has updated their pre-order entry on the DVD version to show cover art. We've got that below, along with an Amazon.com pre-order button link for both formats. As you see, however, the box front has labeled this set as "Sherlock - The Complete Series." For those among us who are fans of the BBC program starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, this signals a sad (but not entirely unexpected) end of the show's run. Both versions of this title will be available on Halloween day, October 31st.

Amazon.com has put up a new listing for "Sherlock: Seasons 1-4 & Abominable Bride Gift Set," a "complete-so-far" set, as the show will hopefully return some time in the future. Very little is known about the set right now, as BBC hasn't made it official by issuing a press release, but if it's anything like the Region 2 release it'll be a 10 disc set (DVD only) with the 4 seasons and 1 movie included. You can pre-order the set on Amazon.com, and it's due to be released on October 31.

Emmy Award-winners Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman reprise their iconic roles as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson in the hit drama written and created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, and inspired by the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
