Disney-ABC Television Group Wins Two Humanitas Prizes
ABC won the 30 Minute award for "black-ish" "Hope" episode, written by Kenya Barris.

The Disney|ABC Television Group won two prestigious 2017 HUMANITAS Prizes.

ABC won the 30 Minute award for "black-ish" "Hope" episode, written by Kenya Barris, and Disney Junior won the Children's Animation award for "Sofia The First" "Dads and Daughters Day" episode, written by Laurie Israel and Rachel Ruderman.

The 2017 HUMANITAS Prize was announced on February 22. The HUMANITAS Prize was created in 1974 to celebrate television programs, which affirm the human dignity, explore the meaning of life, enlighten the use of human freedom and reveal to each person our common humanity.
