“It Just Keeps Getting Worse,” Describes Detective Reading the Texts Between Michelle Carter and Then-Boyfriend Who Killed Himself

February 7, 2019 – Lead detectives and family members speak exclusively to Dateline NBC about the case of teenager Michelle Carter, who was convicted of bullying her then-boyfriend to kill himself. Dateline: Reckless airs Friday, February 8 at 10pm ET/9pm CT on NBC, just days after the Massachusetts Supreme Court upheld the involuntary manslaughter conviction of Carter.
Detective Scott Gordon describes those bullying text exchanges between Carter and then-boyfriend Conrad Roy III to NBC News’ Andrea Canning: “It was one of those things where you keep reading and it just keeps getting worse.
