YOUNGER SEASON SIX FINALE DRAWS 1.2 MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS AND IS SERIES’ TOP-RATED SEASON FINALE AMONG W25-54

​New York, NY, September 9, 2019 - The September 4 season six finale of TV Land's hit series Younger drew 1.2 million total viewers in L+3 and ranks as the #1 rated season finale in series history among W25-54 (1.4 rating). The season finale also scored season highs among several key demos, including P25-54 (.89 rating), W18-49 (1.1) and P18-49 (.70), while outperforming the season-to-date average by double digits in those demos (L+3).  

To date in 2019, Younger is the #1 rated original ad-supported cable sitcom among female viewers, W18-49 and W25-54. The series finished 2017 and 2018 with those top rankings, as well (L+7). 

For the sixth season in a row, Younger's season finale was rated higher than the season premiere, with the finale posting a +10% gain from the season six premiere among P25-54. L+3 ratings from the season six finale are included below: 

  • P18-49: .70 rating, up +20% from the season-to-date average
  • W18-49: 1.1 rating, up +18% from the season-to-date average 
  • P25-54: .89 rating, up +18% from the season-to-date average 
  • W25-54: 1.4 rating, up +19% from the season-to-date average 
  • Total Viewers: 1.2 million total viewers, up +5% from the season-to-date average 

Younger season six generated 49 million social video views, up +70% from season five. The Younger season six finale was the #1 most-social scripted comedy of the day across all of TV on September 4, with 30,000 total interactions. The finale also generated 1.2 million streaming video views. 

TV Land previously announced a seventh season pickup of Younger. The series' passionate fan base has helped the series expand off the TV screen to include the five-star reviewed weekly podcast, Younger Uncovered, a weekly after-show entitled Getting Younger, and the launch of two books from Simon and Schuster entitled, Marriage Vacation and The Miseducation of Henry Cane.

Younger is created, executive produced and written by Darren Star, with Tony Hernandez of JAX Media executive producing. Dottie Zicklin, Eric Zicklin and Alison Brown also serve as executive producers and writers on the series.

New York, NY, June 17, 2019 - The season six premiere of TV Land's hit series Younger recorded its highest-rated season premiere ever in the key P25-54 and W25-54 demos on Wednesday, June 12. For L+3 viewing, Younger recorded a 1.21 W25-54 rating (457,000 viewers), up +30% from the previous season premiere. Among P25-54, Younger hit a .81 (601,000 viewers), up +29% from the season five premiere.

TV Land's series was also up +23% among total viewers, with 1.3 million tuning in to see Kelsey (Hilary Duff) makes her debut as publisher, quickly realizing that the company is in trouble.

The season six premiere of Younger grew from the previous season premiere in additional demos. Among P18-49, the show was up +15% (.64 rating) and it grew +13% among W18-49 (.95 rating).

In this week's episode, airing Wednesday, June 19 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, Liza and Kelsey clash with Quinn, who's walking the line between author and investor. Meanwhile, Diana offends Enzo and Lauren throws Josh and Clare a gender reveal party. Watch a preview clip here.

Season five of Younger aired in summer 2018 and was its highest-rated season to date among P 18-49 (L+SD). New York, NY – August 15, 2017 – Following several weeks in a row of season highs, the fans have spoken again and made it clear that this season of "Younger" is absolutely can't-miss television.

  • The August 9th episode, "Fever Pitch," delivered the highest ratings in series history in L+3 across all key demos, including a .92 in Adults 25-54, a 1.43 with Women 25-54, a .77 with Adults 18-49, and a 1.23 with Women 18-49.

  • "Fever Pitch" was also – for the second week in a row – the most-watched episode in "Younger" history, with 1.4 million viewers in Live + 3.

TV LAND'S "TEACHERS" CONTINUES TO BREAK RECORDS AS NEWEST EPISODE SCORES SERIES HIGHS AGAIN, INCREASES ACROSS ALL DEMOS

New York, NY – January 30, 2017 – TV Land's hit comedy, the critically-acclaimed "Teachers," continues to soar, setting series highs and double-digit gains across all key demos in Live +3. On the heels of last week's record-breaking season premiere, the newest episode, "Stranger Danger," scored a .57 among Adults 25-54, up +22% over last week and a .51 among Adults 18-49, a +38% increase over the season opener. Additionally, the episode garnered a .68 (up +11%) with Women 25-54, a .61 (up +28%) with Women 18-49, and attracted 901,000 total viewers.

Other demos that saw major gains include Men 25-54, posting a .46,  up +44%, Adults 25-39 with a .60, an increase of +31%, and Adults 40-54 with a .55 up +15%. The median age for "Teachers" is 46 years old, down 13 years versus channel prime and seven years younger than the previous week's episode.

"Teachers" revolves around a group of elementary school teachers who are trying to mold the minds of America's youth, but don't have their own lives together at all, and the second season will see the women facing elections, demotions and team-building exercises. The series is written by and stars The Katydids – Caitlin Barlow, Katy Colloton, Cate Freedman, Kate Lambert, Katie O'Brien and Kathryn Renée Thomas – and in season two, great guest stars pop up, including Haley Joel Osment ("Alpha House," "Comedy Bang!
