The action for the series DB Cooper: Case Closed? takes place in 1971 when a man dressed in a suit and tie hijacked a Northwest Orient flight bound for Seattle, Washington. He said he had a bomb and demanded $200,000 cash and four parachutes. Once he received his ransom, the man jumped out of the plane and into the night, never to be seen again. Who was DB Cooper?
Last summer's History Channel special two-part mini-series,
D.B. Cooper: Case Closed?, is now available on DVD. It was released this past week, on Monday
February 13th, as a manufacture on demand item sold through Amazon's CreateSpace MOD program. The single-disc title is $14.99 SRP, and cover art is below. The Amazon.com listing calls it "season one," but that seems to be an error; we can find no plans in-the-works to follow up with more episodes of this two-part mini-series.
