STUDIO CITY, CA – February 21, 2017 – In “Heart of Truth” premiering Sunday, February 26 (9 p.m. ET/PT), Hope Valley begins to taste prosperity from the railroad’s arrival when the mill gets a big contract and Lee (Kavan Smith) expands his workforce to meet the demand.  Jack (Daniel Lissing) is honored by the Mounted Police for his outstanding work, while disappointment besets Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) after she receives a rejection letter from the publisher she was hoping would print her book.  The debate surrounding the railroad’s plan to route through Hope Valley reaches a boiling point and Abigail (Lori Loughlin) is called upon as mayor to break the town’s tie vote on the matter.  When Robert (Jaiven Natt) claims he scared away a bear from the school, the story of his bravery spreads until a heart-to-heart talk with Bill (Jack Wagner) convinces him the truth is more important than false heroism.  Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) frets over the state of her new marriage now that Lee is putting in so many hours at work and Bill (Jack Wagner) accepts the railroad’s offer to head up security after a fire on railroad property appears to be arson.
