The Last Kingdom - 'Season 2' Announced for DVD and Blu-ray Disc: Date, Pricing Coming at the end of May from Universal Studios

At the beginning of last year, BBC Home Entertainment released DVD sets in North America for The Last Kingdom - Series 1, describing it this way: "Crazed Vikings and defiant Saxons are about to clash...with spectacular results." Now the folks at Universal Studios Home Entertainment have informed retailers that on May 30th they will release The Last Kingdom - Season 2. The 3-disc DVD version is priced at $39.98 SRP, and includes English SDH subtitles. The 3-disc Blu-ray version, in high def, is priced at $44.98 SRP, and also includes English SDH subtitles. No extras were discussed. Package art isn't finalized yet, but stay tuned and we'll bring that to you just as soon as we can!
