"This Just In" Celebrates First Daytime Emmy Nomination
LOS ANGELES, March 23, 2017 -- This Just In producers and cast celebrate the series' Daytime Emmy Nomination in the Outstanding Children's/Family Viewing Series category.
Airing Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. on PopTV, This Just In is a quirky comedy-hailed by Marc Berman of Programming Insider and Huffington Post as "a return to classic comedy"- about a socially awkward girl who arrives at a new school and falls quickly into a group of unique friends, each with their own issues.

"From bullying to cheating, we cover problems that kids deal with in school every day," said Executive Producer and series lead, Elizabeth Stanton who Popstar magazine chose as one of the 10 Best Actresses of 2017. "Kids relate to us because they can see us going through the same things they are, but in funny situations."

The series centers around the school's television channel, and the unique bond between characters that are at different levels of social hierarchy in high school. The characters interact with the viewer by breaking the fourth wall vlogging what they have learned from the events of the day in which the viewer at home is really "one of the friends" to whom the characters confide.

Since This Just In's 22 episode critically acclaimed first season on PopTV continues to be an overwhelming success, a second season is already planned. Season one concludes on May 27th.
This Just In is Executive Produced by David McKenzie, Laura McKenzie, Elizabeth Stanton and Co-Executive Producer, Gregori J. Martin.

Producers include Kristos Andrews, Celeste Fianna, Carol C. Hedgepeth, Brad Thomas and Rob Pinkston.
