“MTV FLORIBAMA SHORE” RETURNS WITH ITS HIGHEST RATED EPISODE EVER
NEARLY ONE MILLION VIEWERS TUNED IN FOR THE SEASON TWO PREMIERE
NEW YORK, NY (July 10, 2018) – “MTV Floribama Shore” returned last night with a whopping 1.05 rating (P18-34) up +12% from the series premiere (.94) and +36% from the season one average (.77).  Additionally, nearly one million total viewers (P2+) tuned in which was up +16% from the series premiere and up +34% from the season one average.
“MTV Floribama Shore” features original cast members Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Kortni Gilson, Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Nilsa Prowant, Candace Rice and Gus Smyrnios. The second season brings our favorite southerners back to Panama City Beach for Spring Break to see what life’s next chapter holds for them.
In next week’s episode titled, “Dirty But Worth It,” the bond between the roommates is slow to gel when harsh words open old wounds between Jeremiah and Codi. While another prank puts the housemates on high alert, Gus puts his new play boy attitude on display and Nilsa likes what she sees.

NEW YORK, NY (June 19, 2018) - Hosted by Tiffany Haddish, last night's "MTV Movie & TV Awards" scored a 21% increase across the simulcast with 3.371 million total viewers.

Compared to the same networks which aired the show last year, below are the 2018 "MTV Movie & TV Awards" ratings and viewership numbers:
· P18-34 = 2.24 vs. 1.85, up 21%
· P18-49 = 2.04 vs. 1.63, up 25%
· P2+ Impressions = 3.188MM vs. 2.506MM, up 27%

The telecast was the number one most social show in all of television, even beating the World Cup. It was the most streamed "MTV Movie & TV Awards" ever with 84.6M streams and counting (+88% YoY). The official #MTVAwards was trending #1 in the U.S. and globally on Monday for the two hour telecast. Additionally, three of the top winners of the night, Michael B. Jordan, Chadwick Boseman and Chris Pratt, all trended in the U.S. during the show.

(New York, New York) April 10, 2018 — On the heels of MTV closing out its third consecutive quarter of prime growth – the fastest growing cable network – scored its highest rated series debut on Live+3 with “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.”

Further cementing its dominance, “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” was the most watched unscripted debut on cable since 2012 on both LSD and Live+3.

After reaching a cable milestone with the LSD premiere, MTV cracked a 4.2 average rating in its core demo of P18-34 in Live+3.  The LSD P18-34 rating grew an impressive 43% with three additional days of playback which increased total viewers by one million, to 3.6 million overall.

Across all plays in its premiere weekend, “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” reached nearly 10 million total unique viewers.

NEW YORK -- On the heels of MTV's third consecutive quarter of prime growth - a first in seven years - last night's global premiere of "Jersey Shore Family Vacation" was the network's highest rated new show in six years. It also broke cable records for being the most watched unscripted premiere since 2012.

The first episode - which aired at 8PM ET/PT - did a 2.88 (P18-34, LSD) with the second growing 5% to a whopping 3.03 (P18-34, LSD) averaging a 2.96 which surpasses the final season's average 2.82 in 2012. It also more than doubled the rating of the original "Jersey Shore" debut in 2009 (1.38).
Last night's two-hour global premiere - a first for MTV - was also the most social show of the day, with #JSFamilyVacation trending on Twitter in the U.S. for seven hours.

“MTV Floribama Shore” scored an impressive .94 among the network’s core demo (P18-34) with 846,000 total viewers (P2+) for the series’ launch at 10:00 PM.  This marks the network’s highest rated new series premiere in over three years.  The second episode debuted at 11:00 PM with a .87 (P18-34), retaining a remarkable 93% of its lead in.

NEW YORK, NY (July 5, 2017) - MTV's bigger and bolder "Wild 'N Out" premiere on Thursday, June 29, was the network's highest rated unscripted episode with P12-17 in more than two years, up a whopping 143% while young adults P18-34 were up 86%. The episode garnered a 1.0 P12-17 and .7 P18-34.

"A return to New York City and our incredible partnership with superstar host and creator Nick Cannon set the stage for the biggest, boldest, wildest season yet of this groundbreaking comedy franchise," said Nina L. The series' first-ever hour-long episode featured Chance the Rapper as the guest captain and Saba as the musical guest with additional A-list talent to appear throughout.

It was the #3 most social show on cable with social interactions +27% from last season's premiere.
This success comes on the heels of MTV's overall channel success which saw June P18-34 ratings up +3% with share up +12% vs. last year, a first since 2011.

Up a whopping +164% vs. time period average, "Fear Factor" delivered a .83 (P18-34) rating and nearly one million total viewers. It was also Tuesday's #1 unscripted show on cable (P18-34) and helped deliver MTV's best Tuesday in a year and a half.
