Strap on your happy helmet and get ready for the unlimited joy with this nearly complete collection of The Ren and Stimpy Show! This 9-disc set features all five seasons and over 100 wacky tales starring the twisted twosome Ren and Stimpy, and fan favorites Powdered Toastman and Mr. Horse! Don't be and eediot - this collection is a demented dream come true! In 2004 the studio released 'The 1st And 2nd Seasons' on DVD. Then in mid-2005 they put out a DVD set called 'Season 3 and a Half-ish.' Later that year they followed up with 'Season 5 and Some More of 4' on DVD. As passionate fans know, the studio tried to include uncut episodes, but due to the source material availability, there were several episodes which differed from the original broadcast masters. To reflect that situation, Paramount Home Media Distribution's just-announced upcoming DVD set - which is expected to have the same on-disc content as the previous separate sets put out about a dozen years ago - is being called "Ren and Stimpy Show - The Mostly Complete Collection." It will be available in stores on February 6th. This is NOT the announced-in-2005-but-never-released "Ultimate Box Set," but just a compilation of the same 9 DVDs previously released as 3-disc sets back in 2004 and 2005. It's still the best way right now, though, for fans of The Ren and Stimpy Show to own everything that's officially available for the classic animated series. Pricing and package art haven't been made available at the time of this writing, but stay tuned for updates!
