The Whispers - Release Date (Soon!) and Package Art for the Show's 1-and-Only Season! Available on DVD at the end of next week, from VEI

In the country's center of political power, Washington D.C., several kids have been talking about their imaginary friend. What the parents don't know is this friend is not as imaginary as they assume. And when the mysterious games they play turn dangerous, FBI child specialist Claire Bennigan is called in to investigate. Is this just a case of children being led down the wrong path? Or is it something far more unsettling...as she searches for the answer. In the summer of 2015, the ABC network aired The Whispers, a single season show with 13 episodes. It starred Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us, Heroes, Gilmore Girls), Lily Rabe (American Horror Story), Barry Sloane (Revenge), and Kristen Connolly (Zoo, House of Cards), among others. The short-lived series was co-produced by Steven Spielberg and his Amblin Television. Visual Entertainment, Inc. (VEI) has given us the heads-up that The Whispers - Season 1 (the show's only season) will be released on DVD by them next week! They don't have a pre-order listing at their online studio store yet (as soon as they do, we'll simply add a button link below, so check back!), but they've provided the package art for us that you see below. They give the street date as Saturday, November 11th (they usually release on Fridays, though, so we're going to mark that down as November 10th for our official records). Cost wasn't provided, but they did tell us it's a 2-disc set.
