Outlander - Blu-ray Disc and DVD Plans for 'Season 3' of the Starz Show No availability date yet, but Amazon is taking advance orders for DVDs and Blu-ray Discs

The third season of Outlander picks up right after Claire travels through the stones to return to her life in 1948. Now pregnant, she struggles with the fallout of her sudden reappearance, and its effect on her marriage to her first husband, Frank. Meanwhile, in the 18th century, Jamie suffers from the aftermath of his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire. As the years pass, Jamie and Claire attempt to make a life apart from one another, each haunted by the memory of their lost love. The budding possibility that Claire can return to Jamie in the past breathes new hope into Claire's heart...as well as new doubt. Separated by continents and centuries, Claire and Jamie must find their way back to each other. As always, adversity, mystery and adventure await them on the path to reunion. And the question remains: when they find each other, will they be the same people who parted at the standing stones, all those years ago? The Starz-aired show based on the books is racing toward its season finale this coming Sunday for the most recent season. Now Amazon has already begun taking pre-orders for releases of Outlander - Season 3 on both DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc. These listings are prior to the official Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announcement for the items, though, so instead of a street date Amazon merely says for each that "This title has not yet been released. You may pre-order it now and we will deliver it to you when it arrives." Pricing is available, however, currently showing $45.99 SRP and $55.99 SRP, respectively (you can, of course, guarantee your copy right away, if you order it using any of the above links). There are no other details available so far at Amazon's entries, nor package art (just some temp art taken from the show's most recent promo campaign). We'll update you further on this title, of course, just as soon as we find out anything more!
