(NEW YORK, December 14, 2017) – Time Inc.’s (NYSE:TIME) free streaming network, PeopleTV, will premiere its new body-positive bridal series, “The Perfect Fit,” on Tuesday, January 9. Produced by Authentic Entertainment, this six-episode series documents 12 curvy brides-to-be in search of the ultimate wedding gowns. “The Perfect Fit” is filmed in Chicago’s luxury Haute & Co.TM Bridal Boutique, which specializes in intimate bridal consultations and offers classic, fashion-forward wedding dresses for brides, sizes 14 to 32.

Boutique owner Shannelle Armstrong-Fowler and her team of all-female consultants, often referred to as “fairy godmothers,” are known for listening and catering to each bride’s unique vision, in addition to helping them build confidence, redefine their perspectives on beauty, and spread body-positivity. They are committed to providing a safe, empowering environment where brides-to-be can unload their emotional burdens and fully enjoy the process of shopping for wedding gowns. Poignant moments shared throughout the series range from the loss of a loved one to the psychological impact endured from body-shaming.

This season of “The Perfect Fit” celebrates brides-to-be from both monogamous and polyamorous unions. For every appointment, Armstrong-Fowler and her team always work their hardest and follow their motto, “Style, Snatch and Slay”: Style:  Find each bride her perfect wedding gown.  Snatch: Alter each dress to hug and accentuate all the right curves. Slay: Ensure each bride looks as fierce as possible on her wedding day and is ready to make the aisle her own personal runway.
