Three's Company - Packaging for 'Complete Series' Re-Release Shows It's EXACTLY The Same DVDs Lionsgate, which bought Starz/Anchor Bay last year, is re-releasing the identical box

Early last week we reported that on February 13th Lionsgate Entertainment will re-release Three's Company - The Complete Series: Come And Knock On Our Door Collection on DVD. This is the same 29-disc set with all 8 seasons that was originally released by Anchor Bay in 2014. We didn't have package art in time for our previous report, but now we've gotten it from our friends in the home video retail industry. And when we got it, we checked back with them to make sure it was correct. It was; they informed us they got it directly from Lionsgate, and we've got that "new" package art for you below. As you can see, it is the EXACT same box art used in the previous release, right down to the Anchor Bay logo on the spine. Why? Well, it doesn't come up often, but last year Lionsgate purchased Starz, and Starz is the owner of Anchor Bay. So here Lionsgate Entertainment owns the Anchor Bay item, and is re-releasing it exactly as it was before. So if you already own this, there will be nothing different about it, apparently. But if you missed buying it the first time around, now's your second chance to get all of Three's Company. We still don't expect an DVD releases of spin-off shows Three's a Crowd or The Ropers, but perhaps some third-party company will try to get those rights, if Lionsgate/Anchor Bay has no interest in releasing these themselves.
