LIVE AT THE BBC: SOUNDS LIKE FRIDAY NIGHT
SEASON 1 EPISODE DESCRIPTIONS

EPISODE 1 – FRIDAY, MARCH 16, 11/10c
Radio 1 DJ Greg James and Radio 1 Xtra’s Dotty share presenting duties with US POP/R&B star Jason Derulo. On top of his hosting duties and two live performances, Jason features in an exciting sketch.  Greg, Dotty, and Jason introduce performances from US singer-songwriter Charlie Puth and UK soul sensation Jessie Ware. Greg appears in a sketch featuring a guest appearance by Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl. Dotty presents the global exclusive of the new Kurupt FM video.

EPISODE 2 – FRIDAY, MARCH 23, 11/10c
This week, regular hosts Greg James and Dotty are joined by a very special co-host. International pop sensation Liam Payne. Dotty takes to the streets to get opinions on some questionable new music genres, while Liam and Greg surprises some unsuspecting members of the public in a hilarious sketch. All three introduce performances from chart-topping London Grammar, breakout star Mabel ft Kojo Funds and an exclusive performance from grime superstar Dizzee Rascal.

EPISODE 3 – FRIDAY, MARCH 30, 11/10c
Co-hosting this week, alongside regular hosts Greg and Dotty is US superstar Demi Lovato. Greg challenges Demi in the ‘great British Britishness test' and Dotty enlists the help of Ella Eyre to discover how well the public knows their music. There are live performances by Plan B, The Stereophonics, Jax Jones, Stefflon Don, and of course the brilliant Demi Lovato.

EPISODE 4 – FRIDAY, APRIL 6, 11/10c
Greg and Dotty are joined this week by a very special co-host, UK legend Craig David. Dotty imparts some invaluable wisdom to some new up and coming talent while Greg surprises Craig with a Grilling from his Granny. All this plus amazing live performances from Tom Grennan, Anne Marie, The Killers and an exclusive first-time performance from co-host Craig David featuring Dan from Bastille

EPISODE 5 – FRIDAY, APRIL 13, 11/10c
This week taking on co-hosting duties, alongside Greg and Dotty, is the ever-intriguing Paloma Faith. Paloma performs two special tracks from her number one album and takes her fellow hosts on an open-air bus tour of her hometown. There are live performances from Norwegian newcomer Sigrid, rock royalty and theme music writers Royal Blood and international pop superstar Rita Ora

EPISODE 6 – FRIDAY, APRIL 20, 11/10c
For the final episode of the series, the incredible Dua Lipa joins Greg and Dotty on co-hosting duties. Dua Lipa performs two tracks from her latest album.  There are live performances from RnB newcomer Raye, English synthpop duo Hurts, British rockers Kasabian and British singer-songwriter Rag N Bone Man.
