This go-round for the gripping, gritty crime drama, pathologist Sam is now firmly established as a well-respected professor at the University of London. Her reputation for high-quality work precedes her, and she is constantly in demand for high-profile prosecution and defense work. Still, this prestige comes with increasingly chilling cases. Sam investigates a series of revenge killings by a former Auschwitz prisoner and the mysterious deaths of teenage girls killed 15 years apart in Norway, among others. Each case is darker than the next and threatens to push Sam's expertise to its limit. Following last August's release of the fourth season, the BBC has scheduled a May 15th street date for Silent Witness - The Complete Season 5 on DVD! Priced at $34.98 SRP in the USA, and CA$43.98 SRP in Canada, this 2-disc set comes in the package art seen below. They aren't standing still with that, however! An Amazon pre-order listing shows that the BBC will follow up on August 21st with Silent Witness - The Complete Season 6 on DVD! That's also priced at $34.98 SRP in the USA.
