Perfect Strangers - Front Cover Art Reveals That the Warner Archive is Preparing 'The Complete 4th Season' No release date yet, but an MOD set on 3 discs is in-the-works

Carl Winslow Comes Calling! Season Four of this beloved sitcom sees distant cousins Larry (Mark Linn-Baker) and Balki (Bronson Pinchot) become best friends as they learn to find success in work and life. However, they still grapple with money issues as they learn that playing poker, buying lottery tickets, appearing on game shows and other get-rich-quick schemes seldom lead to financial freedom. Thankfully, the ladies who live upstairs - Mary Anne (Rebeca Arthur) and Jennifer (Melanie Wilson) - continue to be involved in their misadventures, even when it comes to getting lost in the wilderness while on a state-of-the-art camping expedition. The boys make a new friend in Harriette's (Jo Marie Payton) policeman husband, Carl (Reginald Vel Johnson), when the Winslows move into their building, but it's a friendship that may be cut short when they betray his confidence in order to land a crime-busting scoop. Finally, Balki comes of age at 25 - and gets a wife? The Warner Archive Collection hasn't officially announced it yet, but we've got word for you that Perfect Strangers - The Complete 4th Season is on the way for DVD release as a manufacture on demand (MOD) set. Three weeks ago the Warner Archive released the long-awaited third season, some ten YEARS after the studio released into stores a set with the first and second seasons. The sitcom ran for eight seasons in all, and this release will get us to the halfway point. AND get us to television's introduction of Reginald VelJohnson (Die Hard) as "Carl Winslow," a character who would be spun off (along with Jo Marie Payton's "Harriette Winslow") into its own popular sitcom: Family Matters). As we said, the Warner Archive hasn't formally talked about this title yet, so we don't have a release date for you, or pricing. But we do know it's a 3-DVD set, and we also have an early look at the package art for this item, which you can take a peek at below. Stay tuned for updates, as further developments occur!
