DISCOVERY CHANNEL RECEIVES 4 PRIMETIME EMMY® NOMINATIONS
(LOS ANGELES) – Discovery Channel received four Emmy® nominations for the 70th Primetime Emmy® Awards, announced this morning by the Television Academy with three nominations for Deadliest Catch including a nomination for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program. Deadliest Catch, currently in its 14th season, has received 48 nominations to date and 16 wins. Discovery also received a nomination for Naked & Afraid for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program.

Deadliest Catch, which profiles men and women who risk their lives and put everything on the line to complete the most dangerous job in the world, received nominations for Outstanding Cinematography for a Reality Program, Outstanding Picture Editing for Unstructured Reality Program and Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program.
The 70th Annual Primetime Emmy® Award winners will be announced live, live coast-to-coast ( / ) from the Microsoft Theater at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles.
