Synopsis:                              “Disney QUIZney” is a seven-minute interactive live game show in which players age 6+ can test their knowledge of Disney stories and characters. Players can watch the game on Disney Channel and play along via DisneyNOW on their computer, mobile device or tablet. Fast-paced questions challenge participants to answer five Disney Channel and Disney heritage trivia questions, each which viewers must answer within 25 seconds. Players are scored based on speed and accuracy, and the Top 10 players each night will win $100 in the form of digital gift cards – with double-money prizes on “Freaky” Fridays.

Kids and families are invited to test their knowledge of Disney and Disney Channel stories and characters with “Disney QUIZney,” a groundbreaking, multiplatform, interactive trivia show. Starting MONDAY, JULY 16 (9:00-9:07 p.m. EDT/6:00-6:07 p.m. PDT), for 10 weeknights, viewers can watch the seven-minute quiz show live on Disney Channel and play along to win cash prizes on the DisneyNOW apps and DisneyNOW.com. Twelve-year-old Trinitee Stokes (Disney Channel’s “K.C. Undercover”) is set to host this fast-paced trivia show, with live commentary and real-time game results seen exclusively on Disney Channel. 

Kimberly Hicks, vice president, Digital Media, Disney Channel, said, “We continually look to leverage the most current technology in ways that enable our viewers to have active roles within live linear TV. ‘Disney QUIZney’ invites kids and families to be active participants in a live game show in a new and exciting way.”

“Disney QUIZney” provides Disney Channel viewers, ages 6 and older, a chance to test their skills as contestants through a simultaneous interactive experience on DisneyNOW. Fast paced questions challenge participants to answer Disney Channel and Disney heritage trivia for a chance to win $100. Every show features five trivia questions that home viewers must answer within 25 seconds on DisneyNOW.  Questions increase in difficulty with each round.  

“Disney QUIZney” is available in the U.S., and only players age 6 and older will be eligible to win prizes. No purchase is necessary, and children under the age of 18 must get their parent’s permission to enter. The DisneyNOW app is available on iOS, Android and Kindle platforms. Past games will be available for free-play on all DisneyNOW apps after they air, but only the live trivia shows debuting weeknights at 9 p.m. EDT and 6 p.m. PDT will offer cash prizing.
