Emmy® and WGA Award-Winner Wyatt Cenac Stars in Comedic Docu-Series

Wyatt Cenac's Problem Areas

Available for Digital Download July 16th
Acclaimed comedian and writer, Wyatt Cenac (The Daily Show with John Stewart), hosts a topical docu-series examining hot-button issues in Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas, available for Digital Download on July 16th.  Marking the latest addition to HBO®’s impressive late night slate, including Real Time with Bill Maher and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, the series is penned as “… a necessary addition to late night” (AV Club).

Covering a wide-range of social and cultural issues from Cenac’s unique perspective, Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas is divided into four segments: A top-of-show segment that breaks down an issue with an eye toward problem solving; a second comedic "palate-cleanser" segment that field tests solutions to social annoyances of daily life; a third segment consisting of a serialized "deep dive" into an issue to play out over the course of the season; and a wrap-up "call to action" that encourages the audience to keep the conversation going on social media.

“…funny and well-written,” (NPR) Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas is executive produced by Wyatt Cenac, Ezra Edelman (director of the Oscar®-winning O.J.: Made in America), John Oliver (HBO's Emmy®-winning Last Week Tonight with John Oliver), Hallie Haglund (Emmy® winner for The Daily Show), Tim Greenberg, David Martin, James Taylor, and Jon Thoday.
