NETWORK LAUNCHES COMPANION WEBSITE AT WWW.HUNTFORTHETRUMPTAPES.COM TWITTER HANDLE IS LIVE AT @TRUMPTAPES

August 16, 2018, Brooklyn, NY - As headlines continue to feature talk of tapes almost daily, and hot off the heels of his passionate appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" VICELAND has released the first look at "The Hunt for The Trump Tapes with Tom Arnold." The comedy/investigation hybrid premieres with two back-to-back episodes on Tuesday, September 18 at 10:30PM.

The trailer features actor and comedian turned 'citizen journalist'/crusader Tom Arnold on his quest to unearth any of the many rumored, potentially damaging recordings of President Donald Trump, featuring some appearances from Arnold's extensive network of contacts including Judd Apatow, Penn Jillette, Rosie O'Donnell, Arnold Schwarzenegger and former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci.

In support of the show, VICELAND has launched a companion website at www.huntforthetrumptapes.com which also features a secure tips link for any whistleblowers or sources to send leads or actual footage (all of which will be vetted and authenticated) to help Arnold on his quest for the truth. Plus, the network joins forces with Arnold's prolific Twitter feed with a new handle @TrumpTapes.

Other people featured in the eight-episode series include veteran investigative journalists like Jane Mayer of The New Yorker and the bestselling authors of "Russian Roulette" David Corn & Michael Isikoff as well as longtime Trump watcher, former NY Daily News columnist A.J. Benza. Arnold also sits down with people who have been close to Trump himself including former business associate Felix Sater and finally documents the frenzy of attention around Arnold's surprise meeting with Trump lawyer Michael Cohen earlier this summer in New York.

While the show is undoubtedly comedic in tone, Arnold remains steadfast in his belief that not only do some of these tapes exist, but they matter and need to be seen and heard. And as his potentially quixotic quest unfolds, the show becomes a fun-house mirror image of the state of the media and our culture at large under the current administration.
