          STUDIO CITY, CA – September 20, 2018 – Hallmark Channel’s highly anticipated, annual “Countdown to Christmas” programming event is a social and cultural phenomenon as viewers flock to the network to get their yearly Yuletide fix and make it the #1 television network in all of Q4.  As the country’s leading provider of family-friendly entertainment, Hallmark Channel yet again stakes its claim in original holiday programming, unveiling its most robust slate yet with 22 original holiday movie premieres.
          The “Countdown to Christmas” festivities begin Friday, October 26 at 12 pm ET/PT and invites viewers to cozy up to the largest slate of original holiday programming in television!  Today’s brightest and most celebrated stars have joined Hallmark Channel’s merriment including Candace Cameron Bure, Alexa PenaVega, Jerrika Hinton, Lacey Chabert, Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Danica McKellar and network debuts by world-renowned country artists LeAnn Rimes and Kellie Pickler.  As cable’s undisputed #1 holiday viewing destination, Hallmark Channel will continue to bring the cheer and the spirit of the season to families across the nation with the largest original holiday slate that no other network provides.
