"Impractical Jokers: Staten Island Holiday Spectacular" Will Air December 6; Network Invites Fans to Attend the Free Live Taping

truTV's hit series Impractical Jokers is bringing the holiday cheer and some unexpected gifts in the season seven finale episode Impractical Jokers: Staten Island Holiday Spectacular. The hour-long finale will be taped in front of a live studio audience at the St. George Theatre in their hometown of Staten Island, New York. The four guys - Joe Gatto, James "Murr" Murray, Brian "Q" Quinn and Sal Vulcano, collectively known as the comedy troupe The Tenderloins - will thrill the audience with holiday-themed games and compete to determine who will make the best Santa. The episode will also include the hair-raising final punishment of the season that's almost too much for the Jokers to bear. Tickets to the taping are free and will be available through Ticketmaster beginning tomorrow, Friday, September 14 at 12:00pm ET.

Airing on Thursday, December 6, the two-hour special event starts at 9:00pm ET/PT with a half-hour special featuring the guys looking back on this season's biggest challenges and punishments. At 9:30pm ET/PT the hour-long Impractical Jokers: Staten Island Holiday Spectacular delivers the holiday festivities and at 10:30pm ET/PT Joey Fatone hosts a season-ending episode of Impractical Jokers: After Party.

Along with their usual dares and pranks, Joe, Q, Murr, and Sal are partnering with Toys for Tots to surprise some kids from the organization for some laughter and hijinks. In addition, during the finale's on-air telecast, truTV will provide fans of Impractical Jokers a dedicated donation link to the organization and will be matching viewer donations up to $50,000 for 24 hours after the east coast premiere of the episode.

Impractical Jokers features four comedians and lifelong friends who compete to embarrass each other out amongst the general public with a series of hilarious and outrageous dares. When Sal, Joe, Q, and Murr - collectively known as the popular comedy troupe The Tenderloins - challenge each other to say or do something, they have to do it. And if they refuse, they lose. At the end of every episode, the biggest loser must endure a punishment of epic proportions. Since its season seven mid-season premiere on August 2, Impractical Jokers is ranking as the #1 original cable comedy series in prime for both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The franchise also recently wrapped filming on its first-ever theatrical film, which is produced by Funny Or Die and directed by Chris Henchy, and targeting a 2019 release.

Impractical Jokers is produced for truTV by NorthSouth Productions with Charlie DeBevoise, Pete McPartland Jr., Joe Gatto, James Murray, Brian Quinn and Sal Vulcano serving as executive producers.
